We decided to give big blue a try because of their reviews, and they did not disappoint. The work was done same day, and the guys that came out were top notch! Price was fair and i now have these guys as the #1 plumber on my speed dial.

Actually went very well, not quite sure exactly which month ..but knew it was a few month in 2014.called them on a Sunday since the tank went...was told if they came out would have to pay for the emergency fee..but if willing to wait the next day wouldn't charge the emergency fee was told to shut off the pilot light and the water to the tank..arrived earlier than was told which was great.. Have used them several times in the past 4 years for plumbing as well...great..will used them again.

The work was perfect. There was a problem and they came back and fixed it timely. They left the area very clean. I would recommend them to a friend. We did compare shop and they were competitive. We were really delighted.

I had a frozen pipe bursted on a -2 degree day which caused a lot of damage. After calling about 18 plumbers, Big blue was the only company who came right away and fixed the pipe and also explained what to do in future if something like this happens. Very pleased with the service and professionalism. Donna (the lady who took the call) was so nice and professional. Victor performed the service. They were not in rush to get the payment so I went to their office to make the payment and personally thank them for their help on such emergency. I also met the owner Kevin in the office, who was also very professional and nice. I would hihgy recommend them to my contacts.

The repairman spent about only 55 minutes working on this but I was billed for 1.5 hours (an extra 0.5 hour). Also, during the work there were multiple trips back to the car to look for tool or another. When I asked a couple of technical questions about work being done the responses were brash and unpleasant.

I used Big Blue several years ago to replace a water heater, so the details aren't fresh in my mind. But they were responsive, punctual, and friendly. Four and a half years later, the work has held up well.

Owner Kevin Ghizzi and his team once again proved why Big Blue is my go-to plumbing service. Appointments were promptly kept, updates on work quickly provided and all repair/service work perfectly done. Donna, the office manager, was also outstanding in keeping me up to date on job status.

Victor came to my house to install a sink and toilet (I supplied them). It went well except for a leaking faucet when he went out to lunch. I managed to shut the water down so no damage was done. It was a pretty straightforward job. He then came back a couple of weeks later to remove a toilet and sink from another bathroom, and I thought to install the shower hardware after I'd had my tub reglazed. However, there was a communication breakdown somewhere, and he didn't know he was to install the hardware in the other shower. I have them coming back to do the final toilet and sink re-installation (after new tiling is put down) and then finish up the other shower hardware.

They were great. I was in a rush since both toilets were out of action. To speed up, they let me provide the toilet myself. They came to our house, measured the space, and then I went to purchase an appropriately sized toilet. They came back later and installed it and then fixed a pipe leading to the other toilet. The plumber was friendly. Would definitely use them again.

He repaired one faucet handle that was very difficult to rotate. He tried to fix a leak in another handle, but the leak could not be stopped and he recommended replacement. He also repaired the linkage at tub drain. My only negative experience was when the invoice arrived. Before the visit I was told it was going to be a certain hourly rate for a minimum of one hour. The repairman stayed about 1 hour and 10 minutes, with the last 10 minutes doing things that were not really necessary (inspecting something in the basement). When the invoice came higher than expected and I called customer service, I was only then told that the time was rounded up to the next half hour, i.e. 1.5 hours. I feel that only about 1 hour of useful work was actually done, and that the rate details were not properly disclosed at the beginning.

Big Blue Plumbing was very responsive - and beyond prompt, even early! It was a quick fix, and it was all very friendly and professional. I would definitely use them again.

They were excellent. They came pretty quickly and took care of what I needed. Previous to that, they had actually converted my oil heat to gas heat and they did a good job on that. The price was a little high the last time they came. They were fine.

Having rented my entire life I had no experience working with plumbing companies but Big Blue Plumbing was fantastic. Kumar wS knowledgeable, prompt and did a great job uninstalling my old gas oven and reinstalling the new one. I will definitely use him for future projects!

Everything was great except the installer accidentally scratched the new dishwasher when he used his boxcuter to slice through the cardboard box.

It went really well. Kevin had come out to assess it and give me a quote, and then Victor showed up on the day to do the actual work. He did a great job considering it's a pretty small bathroom with not much room to maneuver. The amount quoted was the amount I paid, and I'd definitely hire them for other jobs.

Perfectly. Big Blue has done multiple projects for us, including a complete overhaul on our hot water system. They have always been on time, on price, and professional. We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

Fabulous- I've used these guys twice, and Victor was the plumber each time and did a wonderful job, and explained everything he was doing. Top notch service, from a really good professional plumber.

They were very accommodating with scheduling quickly and around my schedule.

Our water heater broke on Thu. I called them Thu night, they called right back saying to call Donna on Fri morning. On Fri morning Donna scheduled Kumar to come out between 11-1pm. Turns out the water heater was still under warranty (yey) so I will only have to pay for labor. Kumar came and installed everything in a couple of hours and was very nice and professional. The workmanship looks great, and the heater is working perfectly. Kumar was super nice, fast and professional. He came by a few days later to get the old water heater as he did not have place in his truck for it that day. Overall, I am very happy. I got hot water in less than a day's time back.

Very professional! Donna, the scheduler was very polite and responsive. She was easy to talk with and scheduled our repair promptly. Our plumber was Victor (or Vittorio), and he could not have been more professional and competent. He worked quickly and thoroughly and discouraged me from getting a service that was unnecessary. He cleaned up after himself and was very unobtrusive while doing his work. Even my cat loved him! This is the second time I have used this company and I would definitely recommend them to others!

Kevin and his team are extremely thorough. They do top-notch work and they are a pleasure to deal with.

Installing a gas dryer was done very well. Initially, I also wanted Big Blue to install a bathroom faucet, too. But the technician pointed out that the faucet I bought had a flimsy construction and recommended me to look for another one. I am very thankful to him for that.

They came quickly, and were very good. We have asked them to comeback a couple of times to clean the sump pump, and do a peppermint test.

If he can't follow up with a quote for further work, why would i trust him on following up on an actual job? his reviews here and on yelp were stellar, so i'm actually shocked by the lack of follow-through. But you only get one chance to make a first impression.
