Tree and Landscape Service Inc

This is a local company . LAWN CARE: After using them for a few years now, the "lawn" is mowed, but it is far from a "lawn". Once a beautifully lush sod lawn, It's now siimply green stuff to them Dandelines and weeds persist without improvement. I have tried to ask them to repair bare areas in the yard, but they refuse to address. I am not stupid enought to believe that this cannot be corrected if they know what they are doing. They mow the grass too short, they mow brown/dried up grass in the summer when it should not be mowed, just to make the money. TREE CARE: I have asked them to address tree problems. It took months for them to respond and do the work. Bushes and shrubs are not pruned correctly. They simply use electric trimmers to do a quick job. During snow/ice storm last year, we lost many large tree limbs, needed to cut broken limbs, cleanup etc. They did not check the properties of their regular customers. I had to call to get them to come, which took weeks to address. Mowing prices increase annually, but the swnervice does not improve. Now there is an additional "fuel charge". While they tell me that the reason the basic prices have increased is due to fuel prices, they increase the rates plus add an additional fuel charge to the bill. SNOW REMOVAL: Due to my limited mobility due to a handicap, I have asked Gary repeatedly, to ensure tht the mailbox area is cleared. The Post Office refuses to deliver curbside if they cannot get to it. I, in turn, cannot get to the mailbox by foot. I have to be able to reach it from my vehicle. I have had problems, year after year. The mail delivery cannot be made and I cannot get to the mail if it is delivered. How do they expect me to pay the bill that I never got because the post office cannot get to the mailbox? It has been so frustrating that they do not care about their customer. They just do it as quickly as possible without regard to the person paying for the service and their personal needs. I pay extra for them to shovel the front porch and sidewalk, which is a very small area. Their service becomes extremely costly when they feel they must come numerous times in a snow storm to keep the driveway cleared, as they charge for each time they come. I have had enough and I'm now going to count on Angie's List to help me find a "Service" that listens and assists with my needs. I take pride in my home and I need someone who takes pride in their work too. I pay an average of $300 for their services.
