Description of Work: We had an apron of gravel put along the driveway, followed by about 6 feet of black hemlock mulch=5yards of mulch, plus some grass planting and fertalizing. There was a misunderstanding about what was to be done. We had thought the estimate included the front of the house mulch, and a small area on the side of the house, and it didn't. So we had to pay extra for that and some plants we decided on. In our other home, we had a fantastic gardner, who is retired now. He would come and say"this would look nice here, or would you rather have this, etc.". We really missed that input with Fine, but overall we are pleased with the job.

 + 0 moreFine Landscaping gave us a very competitive quote on the work and were very professional and friendly to deal with. There was some confusion on how we should choose the pavers, but once that was cleared up, the paver installation went very well. We could not have been happier with the paver installation - it looks fantastic. The work on the side and back yard went well, but they did not excavate as much as they said they would and the Japanese Knotweed came back quickly. Fine has done an decent job helping us control it since the weeds came back, but we were disappointed that they did not made a better attempt to prevent the problem from occurring in the first place. I would not hesitate to recommend them for paver or stone work, but I'm not sure about excavation.
Description of Work: They cleared a large amount of underbrush, small trees and a very large patch of Japanese Knotweed from the side and back of our yard. This work more than doubled the usable space of our yard. They also installed a paver walkway at the front of the house.
