I have had my chimney done for years and they were the cheapest, and the tech was very professional and neat.

I selected NEQAS based on their reviews and quoted price over the phone. Upon arrival the quote more than doubled in price making the cost higher than both of the other companies that offered me their services, but I guess that's how they sneak in the door, a little shady in my opinion. At that point they were there and the work needed to be done so I hired them on. The job they did cleaning my ducts and their professionalism was okay but I asked them to do some additional work/repairs while there. They said they were more than happy to do the repairs but the work on the very simple repairs was far from satisfactory. They removed a floor vent and moved it to another spot on the heating duct but they never covered up the original access and if I hadn't checked their work I would have been heating the bottom of my floor boards for who knows how long, costing me significant heat efficiency. I also asked them to retape the seals between ducts that were in bad shape and again they agreed but failed to complete. I called in another company to fix their work because I no longer trusted their quality or competence. I called to reach some sort of monetary agreement for their poor work and never received a call back from the manager until I called again several days later and happened to get the owner. He was unwilling to take anything off the bill and kept saying that they were a cleaning service and not a repair service, if that's the case do not tell customers that you will do work that you cannot or will not complete. The owner hung up on me while I was discussing my issue with him and I have not heard back since. I would not recommend them to anyone ever based on work quality and would further caution anyone thinking about hiring them based on a phone quote, the job will be much more expensive when they arrive.

I received a call the day I requested a quote. I was given a quote, which was very fair, and the work was scheduled for a Saturday, with a 1 hour window. The tech showed up on time, cleaned the chimney, which had not been cleaned in a long time, left the chimney area clean, and was very professional. I would definitely recommend this company.
