Mr. Rogers did not provide a quality product in a timely manner. It took him over 2 months to get out to my home, make and deliver a very basic drawing of one of my bathrooms. After purchasing the voucher from Angie's list It took several weeks to contact him and have him show up at my home. After waiting a couple weeks to contact us, he made an appt. then cancelled once at the last minute. Then we had to reschedule for the following week. This ate up most of March. Then after he viewed the existing bathroom, he either was understaffed and/or didn't seem very interested in helping with getting our project design plan.When the plan was delivered it was a surprisingly crude drawing that looked like soemthing a hugh schooler could draw in under an hour. Very disappointing.

I bought the coupon in January, it is May and I am still waiting for the plans to arrive. I contacted them several times and they were unresponsive until I told them to either render services or give me my money back. Since then they came over in March and I have not heard from them ? very annoyed.

Received the bathroom remodel plan

I bought an Angie's List coupon for "Custom Kitchen or Bathroom Design with Full Set of Plans." I wrote a poor review for this company when I had no luck, over a period of weeks, trying to reach Mr. Rogers. No one ever answers his phone and no one from his office has ever returned my calls. When he saw his poor review he contacted me and apologized vehemently - he seemed genuinely contrite. He asked for a second chance. I went to the trouble of retracting my review and told him that I was going to be abroad for a few months - we would have to schedule a meeting when I returned. He thought that was a good idea. We set a date. He arrived on the date to look at the bathroom in question. He said no plans were necessary and that all he needed to put together a proposal for upgrading the appliances would be to have his plumber stop by. I never heard from him again - neither he nor his plumber ever contacted me. My phone calls - two - have gone unanswered. Angie wants a recommendation. Ha! My recommendation is: Stay away from this guy. RL ROGERS IS NOT RELIABLE. Angie, please return my $99.00

So, a misunderstanding but an enjoyable, informative experience nonetheless.

the He provided a plan with just measurements with addressing any details of design was needed. The plan was useless.

The architect came and looked at what we could do with the existing house, then the designer followed with drawings that really helped to visualize the project.

Everything went well. The gentleman was friendly and punctual, and he provided good tips and advice.

Have not yet received the service

Mr. Rogers came out and suggested some options for improving the storage and flow of our kitchen. He then brought in a cabinet designer, who met with us and provided several iterations of a design based on our and Mr. Rogers's input. We were not fully satisfied with this design for various reasons, so Mr. Rogers put us in touch with a second designer. She met with us at our house and at her showroom and also provided several sets of designs. which in the end were not that different from the first set, so we did not proceed (options are limited given the shape of our kitchen and adjacent spaces).

Mr. Rogers gave me a few options I had not thought about for my kitchen renovation. I was not exactly sure what direction I wanted to go, so he offered to provide me with a set of plans when I have made my decision. As I expected, the big deal includes plans for one kitchen, and when I have figured out whether to take down walls, and whether I want an open breakfast bar or an office area I will ask him to draw up the appropriate plans. I am confident that the plans will be done and will meet my expectation.

I purchased a $99 kitchen design deal from RL Rodgers and Angie's List. Rusty came out as soon as he could given the volume he was dealing with as a result of the deal. Our initial consultation brief as the work we wanted done required an Architect. Rusty was able to put me in touch with a few different architects so that I had some options. Once I had my drawings his kitchen designer came out ASAP and was a pleasure to work with. She provided designs within a week as she had promised and even took measurements for some additional work I may have done. All in all this was a great deal and Rusty and his designers are a pleasure to work with.

Still in the process - have not yet started the reno.

I had purchased a oupon for a custom kitchen design with full set of plans. It took several calls before I even got a response and an appointment. The first appointment seemed to be a bit of a waste of time as Russ looked around the place to determine the scale of the job and then someone would be in touch to measure. He was pleasant and on time, calling before he arrived. The woman who called to actually do the measuring was not the person who's name and contact information had been provided to me. She too was prompt and seemed quite thorough. Then it was time to pick out cabinets, so I was told. But I wanted the plans and wasn't ready to start the project. I was looking for options. I went through with the appointment to check out cabinets, which were quite expensive at the vendor that was provided to me. (I was given no choice as the woman who measured everything is the designer for teh cabinet company--not something I knew. I had thougth that RL Rogers would be providng the plans to me as that's whose name is oun the coupon. Then nothing. A few weeks later I called RL Rogers to find out where my plans were. He told me that he'd been informed that I didn't want to proceed with the project. I requested my plans. Again, nothing. A few weeks after that I called again, saying that I still didn't have the plans. RL Rogers did seem apologetic and finally sent me the plans. They are quite unremarkable, do not provide complete details and do not show the options we discussed. Absolutely not workt he $99 that I spent on them. I first made contact with RL Rogers on Nov 27, 2012. My plans finally arrive din the mail on March 21, 2013. Four months and all I have are some simple plans.

The process went very well. It was our goal to get plans and suggestions for a future renovation, so our timeframe was flexible. There was no pressure to use RJ Rogers or Tricia for the future work. We are planning on obtaining quotes from them when we are ready to start the renovations.

We have not gotten to the point of actually getting a bid; he is in the midst. He has come over to look at the bathroom, actually he had to go and get some stuff and come back at a later point to do the drawings and he is in the midst of doing the drawings. We liked him, he was a personable kind of a guy and it is possible that we may use him.

Positively, Mr Rogers did arrive as scheduled, was pleasant, and responded to my letter to him which outlined my concerns and disappointment. He has admitted that he was overscheduled/committed and therefore the drawings were not delivered in a timely manner. We continue to disagree about the usefulness/lack of use of these drawings to assist in working with suppliers. He has offered to return the Angie's List fee and I am waiting for that reimbursement.

After purchasing the Big Deal, we were contacted promptly to setup a time and date to get the ball rolling. First Rusty came out to get a general feel for the space and level of work to be done, then the designer visited to speak with us about options, take measurements, etc. We appreciated that they were able to visit during evenings or on weekend to work with our schedule. We subsequently visited the designer's showroom to review the design, look at cabinets and counters, and tweak the design to our desire. Our only gripe in the process would be that they started on the high end of cabinets resulting in some sticker shock up front, rather than discussing the pros/cons of the various cabinet lines. But that could have been avoided if we had provided our budget up front, I suppose. They were very amenable to trimming features and moving down to cheaper cabinet lines. The estimate to perform the remodel labor was very reasonable. While we ended up not using RL Rogers for this remodel, we were very satisfied with the services provided and wouldn't hesitate to contact them in the future for other work. They are very professional, friendly, and easy to work with.

IT TOOK FOREVER TO CONTACT THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO GIVE ME A DESIGN PLAN FOR A BATHROOM ALL THEY DID WAS GIVE ME A BLUE PRINT OF MY BATHROOM THEY TRIED TO MAKE IT LOOK IMPRESSIVE WITH ALL THE DIMENSIONS BUT THEY WERE OF WALLS AND WINDOWS THAT ARE N OT GETTING CHANGED,,,WHAT THEY GAVE ME IS USELESS....I THINK THEY DIDN'T BOTHER WITH ME AS THEY DIDN'T WANT THE JOB

We purchased a deal on Angie's list to have the company provide plans for both our kitchen and our master bedroom (bought two of the deals). We had to call a few times before receiving a call back but then set up an appt. to discuss the projects. Due to how busy they were we had to wait a few weeks for the appt but we understood and were fine with that. We meet with them at our house and they seemed nice to talk to, had some good ideas and promised to have their Kitchen and Bathroom designer contact us by the next week to go over the ideas and plans. We let them know we wanted to start on the job asap so he said he would be sure to get back to us. Well, we waited over a week and half and heard nothing. I then called and they called me back to tell me they were not able to get any subcontractors to take the job due to the distance (Reading to Westwood). I then asked if we could at least have the plans that we had purchased through the Angie's list deal, but since they couldn't get any contractors to do the work they couldn't provide those either. I just wasted over 5 weeks waiting around for them (waited 3 1/2 weeks to have them come for the appt and then over another week and half to have them follow up). I am so frustrated. We spent so much time talking to the contractor who came to our house and then waiting around for follow up and we ended up with absolutely nothing to show for it. Very disappointing. They are refunding us the money for the plans, and were apologetic on the phone, which is the only positive thing I can say.

I think they are backed up because of the special through Angie‘s List. It took them a week to get back to me. There has been good interaction with the owner and the design guy. He did get an initial set of designs to me. There has been very little involvement since. I got the impression that they are busy. There has not been any follow up by them or us because of the holidays and we just closed on our house yesterday. So, we have been tied up too. They were on time.

Rusty's team began work in March as planned; they came out for consultations beforehand listened carefully to what we wanted and made suggestions. We were a bit uncertain about the cathedral ceiling because the unused attic space was inaccessible; Rusty's team did a thorough inspection and gave us confidence it would work. Work started on time and progressed nicely. All the teammembers were friendly, enthusiastic for the job. We were introduced to everyone who was on the job. Rusty and team always communicated their schedule in advance and called us if the schedule needed to change. The main complication came with installation of the skylight; our roof had been double and triple shingled in places which prevented successful installation; Rusty offered to reshingle an area around the skylight so they could install it. We had been planning on re-roofing and replacing the gutters, and we were so happy with the team's work we asked if they could take on the additional project. The Rogers crew took on the additional project and we were very pleased with the results. There were a few delays throughout the project largely because it was a bigger project, and some of the finish work on the bathroom had to wait for the roofwork....and our project started to overlap some others. But these delays were understandable given the larger scope, and Rusty and team were always in close communication with us regarding schedules. The work was completed in the summer and we have been very happy; we've had no issues after completion. RL Rogers, Inc. was very professional...they really care about getting things right and about quality. And we felt the work was reasonably priced.

They are really easy to talk to and they do a really great job. I have used them before so I felt I already had the right person for the job so we decided to just go with them. The first time they came they cleaned up very well. They did a better job than what I do. I don?t have any complaints with them.
