He didn't charge us anything because he couldn't fix the commode. I was so impressed. When the toilet does stop working, I'll have him out to replace it. He came when he said he would, he was courteous, and thoughtful.

.Rich made an appointment with us for a free estimate. He was punctual and gave 2 different figures depending on whether the problems turned out to be minor or more involved.When he came to do the actual work he was punctual and thorough. He spent about 5 hours here as our repairs unfortunately turned out to be the"more involved" type. He gave a discount on labor for Angie' s List. We would hire him again if we had any more plumbing issues

I awoke on Friday morning to find that my main drain to the sewer system seemed to be blocked. I used Angie's List to locate a local plumber to give me an estimate on doing the job. I called Rich and described my situation at the house. He asked me a couple of questions about the location of the clog and then, told me to call the city, and see if they would clear the drain free of charge. He said if they could not help me then I should call him back. I was a bit shocked and extremely pleased that here was a plumber, who could have easily done the job for a fee, but rather, without any hesitation, told me how I might get it done for free. The city did come quickly and cleared the main drain. Just from this experience, I will call this company for any future plumbing needs.

I called Rich regarding having a new outside faucet installed as well replacing the sump pump hose(s). One is flexible and the other PVC pipe. All were leaking. He arrived on time and performed the entire job within a couple of hours. Highly recommend Rich for plumbing services.

Rich showed up on time and had the job completed in about an hour. Very professional. Really nice guy. We will be using him again for our plumbing projects small and large.

I have a small kitchen galley in an old house and needed new lower cabinets, sink, and countertop when the old sink deteriorated unexpectedly. Originally, I thought I just needed new faucets - this morphed into needing a new sink and the job ended up being new sink-base cabs, countertop and sink. This all developed over several months as I got various estimates. I had originally hired Rick to do new faucets but it became apparent that more work was necessary. Rick was patient and flexible and I hired him to do all the plumbing work. He responded promptly, came over right away to do the estimates, he communicated clearly. The work was done in two phases. First phase was pre-demolition and 2nd phase was after renovation was complete. In Phase One, he replaced deteriorating pipe in the basement and disconnected and capped off the kitchen sink and DW. He replaced the old kitchen steam radiator with a new one. In Phase Two, after the new cabinets and countertop were installed, he came back and put in the new sink, installed new shut-offs under the sink and in the basement, and re-connected all the kitchen plumbing including the DW. He also replaced the bathtub spigot and turn knob. I had run into problems with the carpentry work and Rick came over to see what the issues were. The problems with the carpenter resulted in a very long lag time between phases. Rick was flexible and understanding. I had a small budget for this unplanned project and Rick didn't try to talk me into anything fancy or unnecessary. He did good work, arrived on time, and responded to phone calls. He's a decent guy. I recommend him highly.

Mr. Albanese returned my call in 15 minutes. He came the next day, fixed the problem and was done in 2 hours. He did a fantastic job at setting my worries straight. Very professional and pleasant! I highly recommend him.

I was VERY pleased that he was so efficient and punctual. The space he had to work in was tight to say the least but he did the repairs quickly and professionally. I already have him lined up for some other projects. Very happy with this provider. Will keep him on my list of go to guys!

Unknown to me another member of the family had scheduled someone else to do the repair work. The fact that Affordable Plumbing returned my phone call almost immediately is amazing. I know I will call this company next time I need work done. I was impressed with he responsiveness.

Smoothly. I had a leak from the bathtub upstairs, and a hole in ceiling, another plumber never returned to fix, after a number of phone calls. I have used them a number of times, didnt realize they were on Angielist. Always have had a good experience, honest and fair-priced and very knowledgeable. Give them a try, you will be glad you did.

I called Rich on a Tuesday and he came on Saturday (he would have come on Wednesday but I was working). He wasn't sure where the leak was coming from so he tried the less expensive route first of replacing some piping, but then determined that I needed a new faucet because the pipes were very corroded. He went right out, purchased the new faucet, and had everything installed and cleaned up within 2 hours. He had quoted me a price of $300, but the final price ended up being $210. Rich was very friendly and professional and I will definitely call him again if and when I need a plumber.

I called A-Affordable Plumbing and left a message. Rick called me back promptly and set up an appointment to come the very next day. Rick came over and checked out the problem. He told me what needed to be done and what parts I needed. He went to the plumbing supply house, called me to inform me about the needed parts and cost. Rick returned with the parts and repaired my leak. I purchased a new toilet and Rick removed the old one, installed the new one and even disposed of the old one. I will definitely call Rick for any future plumbing needs I may have. If you are in the need of plumbing services I would highly recommend Rick.

quality work: installed 2 new faucets after counters were replaced. made sure they were not leaking, and working properly before he left. the outdoor faucet repair was determined to be a project for the spring, i will ask him to come back for that.

Very prompt on calling me back and arrived when he said he was going to. The replacement faucet in the kitchen was needed because of faulty work by another plumber. He went out and got an excellent faucet set-up. Cleaned up after both jobs. Couldn't say enough about his workmanship. Would definitely call him for services again.

Richard is great. I called him Tuesday with a problem with a basement bathroom. He was there that afternoon. After reviewing the issue, he told us he could try fix it for $200 or we could contact the vendor we purchased the product from, since it was still under warranty. On Wednesday we decided to go through Richard (for quicker turnaround). He told me he would be by Friday in the late morning. He showed up on time and was able to fix the problem pretty quickly. He actually charged less than estimated. Richard was great to work with. He explained everything, showed up quick and then followed up on time. He also was very personable. We would definitely use him in the future if any other issues occurred.

Plumber arrived on time, completed the task very efficiently and cleaneup totally. Very satisfied.
