I have had OCS service my fireplace boiler and furnace for 3-4 yrs now. Great company, services, prompt, and personable.

Got an Angie's list deal for $160 chimney sweep and paid another $129 for something the found that needed to be taken care of. Overall, service was great, they were prompt made quick work of the process. There was no mess what so ever and I'll def. use them again next year!

I was afraid the appt would make me late for another appt so Josh came a little early to make sure he didn't inconvenience me. Our fireplace was a mess with a years worth of ashes and he did a great job cleaning it. He was very careful and left no evidence that he was even here. Even coming in from outside he walked on cloths to prevent dirt getting on my floors. He inspected my chimney and gave us a reasonable quote for some repair work on our chimney. I was able to book my appt for next year with him before he left . I have been using this company for years and am happy to say they are great...

I have used this chimney sweep for several years. The technician is courteous and prompt. The house never has any dust or mess when the job is complete. Last year they put in a stainless pipe to line the flue with the wood fireplace insert. They had recommended after a cleaning; previously I was not using the fireplace at all. I feel like he answers all my questions openly and honestly and believe the price is very fair for the quality of the work. I would highly recommend this chimney sweep company

Joe arrived within the timeframe provided by the office staff. He was courteous and immediately asked if there had been any issues during the recent year. He quickly got started by placing a tarp over my carpeting and inspected the fireplace. He asked some questions about potential issues I may have had over the year and he said I really did not need the cleaning, however, for safety reasons, I decided to move forward with the cleaning since I had not had it done in 2 years. He started up his vacuum, which unfortunately did not work. He returned to his truck for the parts, replaced them, however that did not fix the issue. He brought that vacuum back to his truck, but he was prepared and quickly returned with another vacuum (spare), plugged it in, turned it on and he was in business. He then got his ladder, placed it against the house and went up to the roof to clean the chimney. When he was done on the roof, he came back into the house and completed the cleaning of the fireplace. Joe then went down to the basement to clean the exhaust pipe.

The technician was punctual, courteous, and professional. We will need some additional upgrades in the future, but the technician did not try to "hardcore" sell us. He was not at all pushy. Instead, he simply listed what we will need (within a few years) and left us with pricing information. Upon comparison, prices are fair. Will definitely use this company for our yearly maintenance.

They did a good job. Before the season started I've had no trouble all season so I assume they did a great job. They did a nice and quick job. They were clean. They seemed very efficient and knowledgeable to what they were doing.

Service men were very pleasant, efficient and fast. They cleaned the stove in record time while explaining where they say problem areas to keep my eye on. They also provided a coupon to be used next year on a cleaning. I will absolutely use them again. My dog even warmed up to them at the end and she's a hard sell!

My husband and I have been using the services of this company for 15+ years. They are a family owned business, and we have worked with the same chimney sweep for many years. They always arrive promptly, clean the flue and stove thoroughly, and they never leave a mess. A safety inspection is always included, and this is important for us because we burn 6+ cords of wood each winter. The sweeps clean the flue from the inside and from the top of the chimney. Over the years our sweep has made excellent recommendations to improve the quality of wood burning and heat output. We trust this company because they are a local family, and they stand behind their work.

My experience overall went very well. They were very responsive and came up with a solution to our issue. The staff was friendly and professional. The cost was reasonable. I would highly recommend this company to others.

The quality of the work performed was OK, but their business practices are deceptive. We had purchased a Groupon for $69 that claimed: "$69 for a Chimney Sweeping of One Flue ($179 Value)" Upon closer inspection, buried in the the fine print it says: "Extra fee for additional flues, stoves, inserts, and fireplace." What they don't say is that the extra fee for fireplaces is $110, which means that there was no value whatsoever in purchasing the Groupon as their normal price is $179 for this service. Furthermore, while the price is not necessarily out of line, it's on the high side for the work actually performed based on our past experience with other service providers in the area.
