Recently had BDL finish an AC install that other contractors wouldn't touch and we are very pleased with the results. Sean from BDL is a consummate professional, taking care of all the little things that you weren't even aware of. Most strikingly (compared to other contractors we've dealt with), he cleans up! Our attic looks like a modern art museum, with the duct work as the main work of art. Highly recommend!

BDL was great. I originally had them out for some yearly maintenance on my original system. They were very polite and knowledgeable. I decided to call their office to get a quote on an additional wall unit. When they come out, the quoted my on wall unit. They also quoted me on the option of having a unit installed in the attic and then ducted so it could handle multiple rooms. I didn't even know that was a viable option. I really appreciated that being offered as I was concerned that second room would always remain warm. I never got a second estimate. The price was fair enough that I was comfortable proceeding. That's why I rated it a "B". They deserve the "A" in the other fields for sure.

Josh Wietecha was professional, prompt, had reasonable prices and my questions and concerns were very thoroughly addressed.

We've used BDL in our old house for a new furnace and central air so it was a no brainer to call them after we moved into our new house. The owner Brian came out and gave us a quote for a couple of different job options. Once the quote was received I worked with Josh in the office. He was excellent in answering many questions and returning calls and emails promptly. We excepted the quote and scheduled the install. The job was completed by a very knowledgeable and professional crew. The foreman Chris was very pleasant and easy to work with. He sought out our input on where the vents should go and did not just stick them in locations to make their job easier. They did a great job cleaning up as they were working. The finished product came out excellent and looks like it's always been there. We got some hot weather last week and the AC worked great! I would definitely use BDL Heating and Cooling again.

The quality of workmanship and the professionalism of the installers were top-notch. My husband even commented that they were the best contractors he has ever worked with (including the electrical contractor). We called BDL based on other positive on-line reviews, and what a relief that they did not disappoint. We couldn’t be happier with our experience; we wish all contractors were as good as BDL!

Everything about the quote, installation and follow up was handled in a completey professional manner. It was a pleasure to deal with Brian and Josh through the quote and Shawn and Kyle through the installation process. They were on time, did top quality work and left our house completely clean at the end of each day

Brian was very informative and told me exactly what I needed and didn't need. I was impressed and thought I would end up having BDL install my new system. Brian told me I would have a quote in a couple days.... Still waiting it's been a few months and a few phone calls to BDL but still no quote. Guess when business is good they don't have the time for new customers. If you're a new customer don't waste your time calling these people.

I didn't go to them but they came to my house. I didn't pay anything because I have a contract with them to do the air conditioning in the spring and heating in the fall. The tune up went well. They just did a great job. In the spring they did the air conditioning and then in the fall they did the furnace.

Brian was a pleasure to work with and did an excellent job installing two zones of AC in our newly purchased Victorian home. In person, he was friendly, professional, and competent. We may have worked with him when his office was in transition, as there were problems with scheduling and punctuality. On one day, I missed work to meet with Brian and he never showed up. He told me he never knew about the meeting (due to a miscommunication with the office) and I believed him--it was just frustrating to miss work. He came more than two hours late on another visit. I would recommend BDL for their work and just hope the business side has improved since our experience.

The house call was $150. They left us information on what they could do for us and it was going to be upwards of $1,500 so we didn't move forward with that. They gave us information that appeared to be inaccurate. They didn't do any service; it was more of an assessment. My husband took care of the issue on his own.

How did it go? Amazingly well. I called on Monday and the appointment was set for Tuesday midday. They were able to schedule a short service window because of my work schedule. The techs called when they were 20 mins out to give me a head's up. They arrived on time, they were friendlt, and they listened to my explanation of the problem. The techs knew immediately what the problem was. It took them less than 45 minutes from the time they arrived to the time they left. I thought the repair was going to be big money, but it wasn't. There was no upselling or pressure what-so-ever. I would not hesitate one moment to use BDL again(one of the tech's name was Cody, th eother I can't remember..Sorry). If you need a repair or an estimate on a new system, I would give this company a shot. A+ Jason

Explained how everything would work. Made suggestions. Pointed out where vents would go and how many zones I would need. SUPER efficient, clean and professional. Owner came to do estimate; workers were courteous and people in office/billing were extremely professional and nice!!!

The owner's name is Brian and he was terrific. We had a problem with our air conditioner and we called another company originally, they came out and told us and we needed a new unit and it would be $3300. In the meantime, Brian from BDL, who we had also called earlier that day and left a message, returned our call, apologized for not getting right back to us and said that if we would still be willing to let him come by, he would like to take a look. We agreed, he came out and made the repairs to our air conditioner for less than $200 and this was three years ago and our air conditioner is still fine. So he fixed the unit for much less money. Brian was great and we had him come out when we had an issue with our heating unit the following year, he came right out and fixed it and again, it was very affordable. I can't remember how much that was but he fixed that problem very quickly and it was very affordable.

BDL Heating and Cooling were very quick in responding and knowledgeable. The owner is very friendly, easy going and professional. All the installers were professional. They were prompt and they did what they said. They were reliable and we had no issues from start to finish. I would highly recommend them. They were really, really a good company to work with.

They were able to come same day and diagnose the problem. Hourly service call price was mid range for the area. Professional and knowledgeable, he was able to quickly diagnose the problem.

The technician who has handled by problems is Chris, and I can't speak highly enough of him. It was 2 days before my son's wedding and it was very hot and my company was arriving and I had 10 guests sleeping at my house...and my AC quit. So it's a Friday night of course, after hours during a serious hot spell. I called 32 plumbing and AC companies and was either told no or left messages. Out of the 32, only 2 others returned my call. I was desperate and upset and the Chris called. He was in Boston, but said he would come to see what he could do because he felt bad for my situation. He was able to get it working that night and then came the next day to do a more permanent fix (I'm pretty sure it was the motor). The problem had grown because the water was not draining properly and there was water all over the place in my basement. That he was able to get it working enough to get us through the night and then come the next day with all the parts he needed to really fix it, is outstanding. It was also tripping the fuses which seemed to be a different problem and he was able help with that, though I think he thought it was mainly do to the AC working hard to compensate for the unusual demand and warm temperatures. He was incredibly responsive, and also very pleasant. He was knowledgeable and didn't suggest more parts or service than he truly believed I needed. I will continue to use BDL for my heating (I will have them do a furnace service this fall) and use them again in the spring for general upkeep and maintenance. I highly recommend this company and in particular Chris, and I think they are very fortunate to have such a considerate and dedicated employee who certainly makes the company shine.

They were very responsive. They came in and did the job quickly. It was not expensive. We had gotten a couple of quotes from a couple of other providers and they came in at the low end, so we ended up using them. We would recommend them, but we are having some more work done by another company because their products are of a better quality and their price is similar.

They were clean, punctual and professional. The tech went to extra efforts to figure out why air wasn't flowing through one of my ducts. My only concern is with the company's license. They insist they are licensed, but I couln't find info to confirm it.
