I contacted Adam with a late season request to see what he could do to fix a lawn in sad straights. He responded quickly and met with us to review the job. He explained that one of his machines was pretty much booked for his current customers but that he would work us in as soon as he could. He was able to do that and his crew arrived within a couple of days and did the initial prep. The following day (a Saturday) they returned to finish the job. I don't yet know the results as the propogation will take time, but in terms of response and being flexible with meeting the schedule of a new customer I give Adam and team the highest marks. On a previous request for other work this summer I had one landscaper not follow through on a quote and another not return my message. Sadly there are a number of folks out there that don't understand customer service even if it's only to get back to you and tell you that they can't respond to your request. I definetely recommend Buckley Landscaping.

They did an excellent job of removing several truck loads of debris over the course of 2 days. They were delayed several weeks by all the rainstorms in the area so they threw in a few yard cut. Overall I was satisfied with their work & have hired them to do my regular lawn mowing.

I had three estimates for the above work, and all three were fairly similar, but Buckley's was a little better. Adam came on time for the estimate and was clear about when he could do the work when we agreed on a date. His crew was punctual, almost never took a break, and did a beautiful job. I could tell that the topsoil he used and the mulch for the plantings was top quality. When the job was done, Adam walked me around to make sure I was satisfied and to review the watering instructions with me. He called the next week to follow up and see how it was progressing. I was very satisfied.

When I contacted this company I talked to Adam I think his name is. He came out on May 7 to do an estimate for us. He was running late which was fine because we were too. When he arrived he was very nice. Listened to what my husband and I were looking for. I did feel like he was rushing through the estimate, but still that wasn't that big of a deal. He told us that he would email me around Saturday, May 11, with an estimate because he was really busy and that was fine with me as well. I gave him my email address and he left. I have never received an email or phone call from him since. I found this company on angie's list and thought that with all the good reviews that I would also have a good experience. I absolutely did not. I don't know what the issue is, but with no contact from him I am left to assume that my small yard was not worth his time. If you are looking for someone to follow through on what they tell you I would not chose this company. Maybe with all their new business and growing success they are losing sight of the customer service that got them to where they are in the first place. I am very disappointed in the lack of courtesy I received. Update: Adam saw my review on Angie's list and contacted me by phone. Apparently he wrote down my email address incorrectly. He said he thought he had emailed me when he had initially said he would. He offered me 10% off my quote(so really 5% off since he already gives angie's list people 5% off) because of the issue. He also emailed me today and asked that I take down my review here. I understand the mistake that was made, but at the same time this was my honest experience with him and his company. We have someone else that will be doing our yard work for us. I do appreciate him contacting me, but at the same time this is how I feel. From the other reviews it seems like he can do good work, but it's just not for me.

I just bought my house and was looking to get my yard cleaned up. The previous owners seem to have a green thumb; they had planted shrubs/trees around the perimeter of the yard with other plants and flower bushes. They also had planted a garden. All of the aforementioned greenery was over grown by the time we moved into the house. I got A. Buckley Landscaping from Angie?s list and gave them a call to get a quote. Please forgive me but I forgot the gentleman?s name that came by to look at the job. He actually answered his phone on the first call! He showed up on the day I called. He was very knowledgeable about all the different plants and flower bushes around the yard; gave me some advice on the care of the lawn and was very understanding about budget restrictions. He didn?t try to up sell me or anything like that. He listened to what I need and gave me a quote on what I needed. They came a couple of days later did the work and left an invoice in my door. The work that was done was great; the garden completely removed and the ground leveled. All the yard waste that the previous owner had left was removed and the lawn looked awesome. I ran into a little finical trouble after the job was done and they were very understanding about the situation and the delayed payment.

I initially contacted Adam in the middle of summer and he advised to wait until fall to move the rhody, so the mid-summer heat would not kill it after it was transplanted. When fall rolled around, I called Adam back and he came out within a week (I think he had put me on the calendar back during the summer). This rhody was a monster, easily having been growing 15 years, and that was why I wanted to move it and not buy a new plant that would have been much smaller and not covered up the ugly corner of my yard where I wanted this tree. My aunt is a landscape designer by trade and she said a rhody's root ball is actually pretty shallow, and Adam's consulting landscape design guy told him the same thing, so we thought it could be moved with machinery help. So Adam and crew dug around the rhody's edges and popped the forks of a skid steer under it to help get it up out of the earth and then brought it over to the pre-dug hole and plopped it in, moved a couple other plants as well, and then back filled with loam all the old holes and seeded them. Grass came in nice a quick, they didn't tear up any of my other lawn because they put down plywood where the skid steer was rolling back and forth, and the entire job was down in an afternoon. My landscaper who does my fertilizing and aeration wouldn't even return my call about this job. My only regret about my dealings with Adam is that he would not take over the fertilizing and aeration as well, because they only do that with customers who also use them for grass cutting.

Fall clean up was done excellent, on date promised, and we were impressed. We had talked in the summer when he did some major pruning, clean up and mulching of our yard about fall clean up. At the time he gave me an approximate price and asked me to call in the fall. In November I called and he set an appointment time, showed up on time, gave me a specific quote in line with what he has said previous summer. He is professional and easy to deal with which I haven't found true with some other landscapers I have contacted. Never again are we going to waste our fall weekends struggling with the leaves.

It went very well - as it did for his lawn cutting all last summer.
