Shimon was great and would absolutely use him again. He was able to see me the day I called and came right over. He was prompt, courteous and professional and was not only able to fix my main problem, a clogged toilet, but also on the spot fixed our shower handle as well as replace the showerhead. He also answered a few other questions we had about other plumbing in the house, which was very helpful. I would highly recommend him!!

My water heater began to leak. I called dozens of places to get quotes and Aviksis Plumbing was the most reasonable. He came the following morning, and installed the new water heater. While he was here, I asked him if he would also replace my disposal, which he did willingly, even though this was not an easy job because I wanted him to also move the drain. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism on the job. I would happily recommend Aviksis for plumbing needs. I was pointed to Aviksis Plumbing on a reference from Mr. Fix-It, and Aviksis was able to schedule time next-day to do the job at my request. This wasn't an easy job as I had a leaking 80-gallon water heater and five flights of stairs to get to it. But the removal of the existing water heater and the installation of the new one went smoothly and the job was done in less than three hours. The price quoted by Aviksis, which included a six-year warranty on the new water heater, was slightly less than what some competitors quoted me. The price quote was given before I agreed to the job, was given sight unseen, and the service was provided at exactly that rate.

We had water dripping from our living room ceiling on Christmas day, we placed a bucket under it and waited until the next day to find a plumber. I had to call many plumbers until we found Shimon, he was referred through Mr Fix-It, who wasn't able to make it. Thank-you Mr Fix-It! Shimon arrived within a half hour, he was able to diagnose and locate the problem with minimal holes in our living room ceiling and bedroom wall, it was quite impressive. He did not have the piece needed to replace the broken pipe, he left to purchase one. He returned within an hour, replaced the pipe and we were able to turn the water back on. We also had an issue with a loss of water pressure coming from a faucet, he quickly cleaned out the faucet and restored the water pressure. Throughout Shimon was professional and easy to work with, he cleaned up dust from cutting into the wall and ceiling and on top of it all gave us a very reasonable price for the work. We will absolutely use him again for all plumbing work.

I had a significant leak or leaks from the pipes and hoses below my kitchen faucet. Having crawled under the sink myself to try to replace a leaking sprayer hose, I knew that the leak(s) was/were up behind the garbage disposal in a spot that was very hard to reach. I called Aviksis Plumbing on a Saturday and heard back from a plumber, Shimon, within an hour. I described the leak and he advised me to buy a new faucet set before he came by. He said that, especially given the age of the faucet, it did not make sense for him to come by and try to identify the broken part and then try to find one to match. I think he was right because the faucet was a low quality set installed by the previous homeowner that had leaked previously. As my faucet is unusually configured, he asked me to text him a picture of the faucet and I did. I later texted him a picture of the faucet set that I was going to buy from Home Depot. He confirmed that it would work and scheduled the work for Sunday at 10 a.m. He called me on Sunday morning to tell me that he was going to be at my house by 9:30, which was fine. He replaced the faucet within an hour. He was very professional and pleasant to deal with. The installation would have been $140 but, as he had to replace a couple of hoses, it ended up being $172, which I consider a fair price for the difficult work that he did in a cramped space. I highly recommend Aviksis Plumbing.

Great plumber. I called on Sat. afternoon to report that I wanted a kitchen faucet replaced and a bathtub drain mechanism fixed. They called back in 20 minutes and asked for photographs of the bathtub drain. I sent them via e-mail. Two minutes later he called back saying he could fix it tomorrow, (a Sunday). I told him it was not an emergency, but he said he would come on a Sunday and work at normal rates. He said he could come at 8:00am, and he showed up at 7:45am. He was done by 9:00 am with both the faucet and the bathtub drain. Everything cleaned up. Simple as pie. Just awesome.
