One of the workers was a little flustered but the other was very professional. We would use them again if needed.

They were absolutely fantastic. They were knowledgeable, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Spent a lot of time talking us through decisions and explaining the differences. Were also very patient as MASS SAVE took longer than expected. Would hire them 100 times over.

It went as planned and am very pleased by the flexibility they had since their work was to be done after some other parts of the project that were difficult to get a time pinned down.

Considerably better than we had hoped. Kenny took his time to properly troubleshoot and avoid opening up any ceilings or walls. Within 15 minutes he identified the problem and fixed it. Done! We hope to not need there services any time soon, but they will be our first call in the event we have any plumbing issues that require attention. (btw, we paid a weekend rate for the service, but it was well worth it!)

It went very well. The plumber contacted me prior to his arrival. He arrived well within the window I was given when I made the appointment. The work was completed and everything was cleaned up before he left.

These guys are great. Had a clogged kitchen sink before i went to bed. Was able to get somebody out here early the next morning and they did an awesome job. Very happy. Have used Baker Elman before and will use them again.

Excellent. Plumbers did a great job. Guy's were very polite and knowledgeable. Logistics side went smoothly. I prefer electronic communication and that's how it was handled.

It went very well. They promptly responded to my call. They looked at it to see if it could be fixed and gave me price comparisons for fix/replace. I chose to replace and requested a gas water heater with a very quiet exhaust fan. The one that they recommended and installed is wonderfully quiet--much better than my previous hot water heater. They came on time and were finished in the time window quoted. They were also very neat about their work. I am very pleased.

They were punctual and efficient, willing to share what they were doing with me. After several unsuccessful attempts by Best Buy's incompetent subcontractors to install my washer and dryer, these guys got the job done the first time, and for a good price. I will most definitely be going to Baker-Elman for future appliance repair and installation rather than relying on the lazy and incompetent subcontractors from major appliance stores. I will also recommend Baker-Elman to any friends and family looking for plumbing services.

Baker Elman was one of the few plumbers to actually call me back and they were actually prompt about it. The office staff was nice and efficient and they sent someone out quickly. The plumber was friendly and seemed competent. I'm not an expert at plumbing but I don't feel like he was up selling us or anything - he gave us the option of trying to fix our 10+ year disposal that was leaking or give us a new one and we made the decision. All is working great now. The new disposal is so much quieter. Prices seemed comparable to what we'd pay for a disposal from Home Depot and the hourly rate was also in line with other plumbers I've called.

Someone had come to our home on to see the project on June 21st. After following up 3 times, we are still waiting to hear what the cost would be. We had worked with Baker Elman on a previous repair and were looking forward to working with them again as they did a great job. However, it seems they were not interested in working on this project as they have not responded to our request for a quote.

Wow! Called Baker Elman to scheduled a hot water heater replacement as I just came home to a broken heater after being on the road for 3 weeks. The heater showed up at my door step as I was still on the phone with them and the technicians arrived half hour later. Within two hours of making the call, I now have a brand new unit installed. Most of the other companies are yet to return my call.. Might be a bit pricey compared to others but you get what you pay for.. in this case, excellent customer service and responsiveness

I contacted Baker Elman Plumbing to see about replacing the faucets. I had the good fortune to be put into contact with Susan Calcagni. She asked me to send photos of the faucets and to describe the problems. She researched the issue after receiving the photos, suggested two sources for the purchase of the units, and provided a detailed description of how to repair the units myself. Susan provided customer service which I found to be really amazing. I know what company I'll be using if I have pluming problems in the future. Great Work!

I called mid-day on Friday and told them it wasn't an emergency. Steve said he'd try to have someone out to the house that afternoon and would call if he couldn't make it happen. Later that day, he called and said no one freed up and someone would be here between 11:30 and 2:00 on Monday. About 11:20 on Monday Steve called and said he'd be here shortly. And he was. He fixed the faucet quickly and told me to call the office to pay. A couple of hours later an email arrived from the office with my invoice. I called and paid by credit card. This is my first time using Baker-Elman and it won't be the last. My previous go-to plumber has retired and I found Baker-Elman on the local Senior Center's recommended contrator list and on Angie's List. Great communication and on-time.

2 people showed up right on time, were courteous, and knowledgable. They assessed and found the root of the problem. They weren't able to fix it themselves, and I needed to contact national grid directly. After the appointment they got back in touch with me to make sure I got the discounted price for their service. Though they didn't do any work their punctuality and courtesy will certainly have me calling them for my future plumbing related needs.

I sent Baker Elman an email describing the problem, and got an email back suggesting a fix--which worked. (A magical red button on the bottom of the disposal.) This is now the SECOND time that Baker Elman has told me how to fix something and thereby declined the opportunity to charge me money. I'm not sure how they stay in business, but--WOW--how helpful can they be? (For the record, the times that they have come here to fix something, they have also been excellent.)
