I worked with them under one of the Angie's Big Deals, so they understandably were interested in upselling, but we were able to negotiate this amicably. There was a little trouble with communication regarding dates and times, but once they were actually there doing the work it went very smoothly and they did a very nice, clean, professional job. I will probably hire them again to do more work.

I was extremely impressed! The rooms look great!

I can't say enough about Cassio. He was meticulous in his prep work, careful, courteous, friendly, a very hard worker, always on time, and he stuck to his estimate and timelines exactly. The people he brings with him on the job to assist are equally kind, careful, and professional. He knows a lot about paint colors (I wish I had asked for his opinion earlier in the job!) , and yet he is quite humble. He has a gentle but convincing way of stating his case, for example, for the need for more prep time or plaster work, to ensure a smooth paint job and clean finish. I have asked him back twice now to do touch-ups and to re-paint the colors I got wrong a few years ago, and I'm looking forward to working with him again. We'll also give him the job of our exterior, when we're ready for it. I have acted as a referral for Cassio several times, and my only regret is not having posted a review here sooner. I give him an unqualified across-the-board A+!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for $399 for two painters for one day. I had more painting work than could be done in that amount of man-hours, so I paid for another day of two painters for $500, which still seemed like a good deal for the quality of work. Cassio needed to reschedule the date a couple of times which was fine as he emailed with me ahead of time--the first time because of car trouble, the second was because, as he scheduled the Big Deal work, people (like me!) would have much more work for him to do than could be done in a day and it made more sense to finish one job before starting another. I found him to be a good communicator around this. I don't mind rescheduling as long as the person is professional and communicates well ahead of time. Our kitchen walls and ceiling were essentially in shambles after an extensive renovation. Cassio had to personally spend a whole day making the surface ready, just for primer. He was absolutely meticulous. He taped off the doors and vacuumed all the dust. He got the walls and ceiling smooth, filled all the cracks and holes and sanded every bit of it. When he got the paint on, it looked perfect. Throwing paint onto unfinished walls ends up looking really bad (my husband and I did that in a hall bathroom, which is how I realized that). Cassio did all the prep work necessary to create a wonderful finished product. My daughter's room was being repainted from a very dark blue color. We asked Cassio to do three walls in white and one in pale lavender. The room didn't need any sanding but going from such a dark tone to a light color took three coats and again, it looked perfect in the end. Cassio would arrive around 8 or 9 am and stayed until about 5 each day--the last day he stayed til 6 making sure he had completely cleaned up everything. He and his coworker were quiet, polite, and professional. They did not work "fast," rather they worked carefully, making sure to create a flawless finished product. I plan to get in touch with Cassio later this year to possibly paint our home's exterior.

Very pleased with Boston Painting Services! Cassio and his team did an excellent job painting our interior walls and trim, including removing wallpaper and repainting a stairwell. He was very up front about estimated time and hours required to complete the job, which was very helpful in building a quote for us, which we thought was very reasonable. He took the time to spackle every little hole, dent and damage so that everything was painted flawlessly. I also appreciated how responsive he was to my emails/phone calls and questions. I will definitely be using Cassio again and will be recommending him to friends and family!

Cassio gave me an estimate & his crew arrived as planned to do the work. Repairs to walls were done as needed. The team is polite & professional & they are hard workers. I didn't check with any others on pricing, but it seems to generally have been in line with other reviews I've read for this size job. I would use them again & highly recommend them.

Cassio was very responsive and accommodating of my tight move-in schedule. Cassio and his team did thorough prep work on all the closets prior to painting. Closets are actually quite challenging areas to paint because of hardware that must often be removed and reattached . Most of the closets had modular shelving systems, which Cassio and team carefully took out and reinstalled. The end result was beautiful, and I will certainly use Boston Painting Services again as I paint the rooms of my house.

Cassio and his team at Boston Painting Services did a great job at an affordable price. I could not be more pleased with his work. He always responded promptly to my phone calls and emails, which I think is a rare quality for any service provider. He was able to begin painting immediately. His team then prepped, painted and cleaned everything up within a couple days. The new paint looks clean and bright. Cassio was friendly, knowledgeable, honest and straightforward so doing business with him was a pleasure. His team was also friendly, showed up on time and stayed late (the day before Thanksgiving no less). I would definitely recommend Boston Painting Services to others and I would use them again in a heart beat.

No work was done; the painter was very nice in all communications.

Cassio came right out to our house to assess the amount of work and approximate cost. We needed the rooms painted in less than a week and Cassio was kind enough to come to our house after a full day working on other jobs to paint so we would be able to have it done on time. He was very pleasant and he was very prompt and responsive. His rate was lower than other estimated costs and there isn't a single problem with his work. They were very considerate of us and our home, I hardly noticed that they were painting because they were so quiet that I could still work and they cleaned up after their work each night. They finished everything within four nights, it's important to reiterate that they came after working at other sites just to accommodate our needs. I can't speak more highly about Cassio and his team. We will definitely call them again for future rooms and we have already referred our friends to them.

Cassio did a great job painting the rooms for us. He is very knowledgeable and suggested what paint colors would go in what rooms and how the colors would impact the light and shine. His team has very polite and punctual people. I highly recommend him and would hire him again for other jobs at my home.

Cassio and his crew are a pleasure to work with. As mentioned before they cleaned up before they left each day; worked long and hard hours; were polite, respectful and professional. Cassio and I reviewed the daily progress and made changes when necessary. His prices are very reasonable and the quality of his work outstanding. He takes pride in his work (as do his crew) and wants to make sure that his business succeeds and grows. Given my experience, I have every expectation that he will achieve that.

From the outset, my experience with Cassio was excellent. He is knowledgeable and informed about his work and was careful in his evaluation of the project. I received a detailed estimate of the proposed work. Before starting the work, he reviewed with me the scope of what he would be doing to make sure that he and I were on the same page. He brought 2 workers with him. They were professional, were meticulous in covering the furniture and in taping plastic over all the closets. They removed all the 'window treatments' and blinds and replaced them perfectly. The areas on the periphery of the room were covered with floor paper and taped to a width of 12 inches all around, and canvass drop cloths were then used to cover the carpet entirely. Their preparation was careful, detailed and thorough. They worked quickly and efficiently, were very respectful and quiet (no blaring radios) and left at the end of the day having cleaned up their tools. The quality of their work is A+. The quality of brush-strokes and finish is of the highest quality. The surfaces are smooth as glass and there are no traces of dust particles. Edging was done carefully. Paint finish has always been an obsession with me and frankly I think that Cassio did the best job I have ever had done. When they were finished, the room was totally put back together. My experience with them was a pleasure. I had been dreading the work thinking that there would be a great deal for me to do to prepare for them and anticipating a huge cleanup on my part after they were gone. None of that happened. The room and the house for that matter were left clean and neat. Cassio clearly takes great pride in his work. He is hard working and ambitious and it shows in the quality of his work. I had spoken to several of the people he had given as references and they all extolled his virtues. He will be returning to repaint my kitchen and in addition my office suite. For anyone wanting the highest quality of painting coupled with professionalism - Cassio fits the bill.

Cassio and his team were wonderful to work with. They do very good work from beginning to end. We are very pleased with the quality of work. This is the second time I have hired BPS to do work for me and I would recommend them to anyone. The first day they came to paint they noticed the floors (which were sanded and refinished a few days earlier) were still a little wet. They recommended it would be best to come back another day to avoid damaging them. I'm so glad they noticed our floors weren't quite dry - disaster avoided! Overall very happy with this company. Great experience!

cassio arrived for initial apt on time and gave me a quoteon site because this was new construction with schedule changes cassio worked with me and had the job completed in a timely manor cassio and his crew arrived when they said they would they were very professional and cleaned up daily we are very satisfied with the quality of work and would definitely use them again or recommend to others

One of the best choices I've made while doing redesign in my apartment was hiring Cassio. Services were performed on time, quality was worth the price. I would definitely hire Cassio again.

Cassio and his crew are amazing! I was given Boston Painting Services' name by my flooring guy. His pricing was the same as others but the difference was in the professionalism, quality, and availability to do my project right away. Cassio arrived on time to walk around and appraise the job to be done. By that evening he emailed me a description of the scope of work and cost involved. Once I agreed on the pricing he and his crew came two days later to start the job. They finished the entire house in just one week! It looks perfect! All hardwood floors were covered with the heavy paper and taped in place so they wouldn't get damaged/spilled on. All hardware, outlet covers, switch plates, mirrors, etc., were removed. All wallpaper was stripped, walls were patched where needed and sanded smooth before painting. The base mouldings are perfectly painted! After they were done they re-hung mirrors, hardware, switch plates, etc., and cleaned up everything as best they could (plaster dust was still settling. :-) ) Cassio is extremely professional and very pleasant/polite...easy to work with. He only does exceptional work and has great attention to all details. I will definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone who needs painting done. :-)

Cassio was a pleasure to work with. We were not living in the house at the time, so I was nervous about the project, but he was very reliable, readily available when we had questions or concerns about the progress, and did a great job overall. The project was completed in the proposed time frame which was important because we had flooring contractors arriving on a particular day. He even came back after the floors were finished in order to repaint any baseboards which had been scuffed. I felt completely comfortable having him and his crew at the house without me. I plan to use his services again once we decide on colors for the different rooms.

Casio came in, assessed, gave fair quote and was able to start soon after I agreed. Everything went as planned and work was done perfectly. Team was able to handle little details that came up while the job went on. In the end, worked out great, would hire again. Great team.

Cassio came to our house after we got home from work to put together an estimate. Prices were very reasonable and he was able to start right away. All doors and window fixtures were removed cleanly for painting. We had just had the floors re-done, which Cassio took great care not to get any paint on them. On the last day he was working, a Saturday, we had a moving company bringing our larger furniture pieces. Cassio's team worked around the movers and got the job done on time. Everything came out great, looks better than we ever expected.

Cassio & his company Boston Painting Services was very professional and there quality was above average. He provided me a very competitive quote from the first time i met him and i intuitively felt like he was a trustworth guy from the get go. I would highly recommend him for any and all interior/exterior painting. Lastly, he took care of some extra requests for free at the end of the project and left a good impression. -George
