Arrived on time, took the time to do the job right, discussed options where needed. Unit performs as if it were 10 years younger. Definitely a good job.

The work performed by Wainwrigth's Small Engine repair was excellent. They came out to my home to do the work which I found to be very helpful. The morning of the appointment the technician accidently went to the house across the street from me and which is not currently occupied. This has happened with other people trying to find our house. I got an e-mail from Wainwright's saying the technician could not get anyone to answer the door and the snowblower could not be found, and that he was going to his next appointment. I e-mailed back with more details on how to find our house and figured I would have to reschedule for another day. Within 20 minutes the technician called and said he was headed back to our place. I was very impressed with the way Wainwright's handled this. In addition to the tuneup Wainwright's was able to repair a flat tire on the blower without having to replace the whole wheel. This saved me money which I appreciated. I plan to use Wainwright's for my future snowblower and lawn mower work.

Excellent! Wainwright's staff came to my home on the time and date agreed and tuned up the snowblower. I really appreciate the on-site service; I did not have to pay for transport, or lose the use of the machine for weeks while it was being serviced off site. I will definitely use them again. The technician who did the work was very polite, knowledgeable, and he comported himself in a professional. He diagnosed and fixed a problem with the snowblower and then changed the oil, the spark plug, adjusted all pullies and belts, and lubricated the machine. I will definitely be adding Wainwright's to my vendor list.

He was a nice guy and did a great job with the work. He mentioned during the repair that the pull start needed to be replaced so I said good. When I received my bill there $48 charge for the pull started + $7.50 for travel charge. I would have preferred that any additional costs would have been quoted beforehand.

The mechanic (Sherman) was very polite and professional. He arrived when he said he would, and he thoroughly checked the snowblower, and he did a great job tuning it up. He also made a few minor repairs. I chatted with him while he was doing the work. I don't know much about snowblowers, so asked him to show me what he was doing. He took great pride in the quality of his work, and he spoke very highly of his company. He talked about how Wainwright's stands behind their work 100%. I believe him! I will definitely be using this company again for all my snowblower repairs and service. Be careful who you select to service your snowblower. Don't make the same mistake I did. Last winter, I had the unfortunate experience of using snowblower repair company from H***. My snowblower stopped working during our first big snow storm. When I called a snowblower repair place (not on Angie's list), they raced out out the next day to pick up my machine for service. I thought this promptness showed great customer service. However, once they got my snowblower, it sat at their shop for 2 weeks before they even looked at it! They kept on saying they would get around to looking at it the "next day." After they finally fixed it (they didn't even have to order a part), I had to wait another 1.5 weeks before they would deliver it to me! What a nightmare. After this experience, I am so relieved that I found Wainwright's.

It was great. He came over and he spent a couple of hours fixing it, and everything is fine now. The snow blower is working perfectly. There was no additional charge.

I wasn't home when the service was performed; but the machine is running like a top now. Very good value.

They did a very nice job. I am located more than 30 miles away and they wanted to charge me for that originally for that even though it was not mentioned in their big deal. They changed the big deal fine print after a bunch of people complained and not sure why but went ahead to take care of me without the extra mileage costs. Very professional and did everything to honor original big deal.

.He showed up about midpoint of the time range. The things done - replacing oil, tightened up belts and wires, added gas and checked the line, put air in tires and started it up and made a few more adjustments. The process took aprox 45 minutes. Very nice that he could come to my house to do the work. A real time saver compared to having to dropping it off and then picking it up. Very happy with the work.

Very convenient service. I left my snow blower in front of my garage in the morning and they serviced during the day. No need to take time off and wait for someone and no need to load a heavy piece of equipment into the car and take it for service. They left some helpful tips about off-season storage and also followed up with an email.

Wainwright's showed up at my house as scheduled to perform service on both my lawnmower and snowblower. The lawnmower is in good working order and they were able to perform the tune-up, sharpen the blade, and clean the mower body on site. The snowblower was another story. It was showing the wear and tear from several hard winters and required more than a simple tuneup. They took it back to their shop gave me an estimate over the phone. The repairs were done quickly and on time. In the end the price was $100 less than quoted because they were able to get a better price on the replacement part. I am completely satisfied with the work that was performed and have already recommended them to a friend.

The technician arrived at my home, the snow blower was serviced at the bottom of my driveway. The technician came to the door to inquire about the cord since it is a key start, I requested he re-attach the cord. All services were performed, we received an invoice for the pull cord. In the past, we dealt with anothercompany who would service the machine at their location. Our home is actually easier. No phone calls, pick up, delivery, calls to pay the invoice prior to the machine being returned, the machine not being picked up on time, the service not being completed. I will definately call them again.

They were just great. A family business, a Son and his Dad could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Very professional and The work was completed within just a few days. So now bring on the Snow, we are ready!

They were very knowledgeable. There was a problem with the lawnmower after they left. They came back the next day and fixed it. I definitely plan to use them again every year. My only issue was they came before 7am both days. This was a bit too early.

During the height of last year's winter from h***, my plow guy had to stop plowing because there was literally no place left to push the snow. That left just me and my trusty snowblower to deal with the white stuff. Unfortunately, the snowblower subsequently died from exhaustion. I called a half-dozen repair shops, all of which told me they were booked through May. Then, miraculously, a special deal email arrived from Angie's List for Wainwright Small Engine Service. Given how desperate I was by that point (I have a long driveway that is impossible to clear by hand), it seemed a gift from heaven. Even more amazing, I didn't have to bring my snowblower to them -- they sent out a service truck with a complete portable shop in the rear. Parking at the street end of my driveway (they couldn't drive down because ... well, you can probably guess), they installed a new scraper bar (which had bent horribly), replaced the spark plug (which was gummed up and wouldn't fire cleanly), and then tuned up the unit (which, after their work, started on one pull instead of 50!). That they were able to accomplish all of this in short order during a record-breaking winter remains astounding to me many months later. I give top ranking, highest marks, and kudos to Wainwright. I'll be sending them all my lawnmower and snowblower work in the future.

Extremely happy with the service! Very responsive from the start. Snowblower was not starting and needed an oil change. They had a tech come to the house, quickly diagnose the problem and give me a quote. They took the machine back to the shop and repaired it within a week. Came in on the low end of the quote. If you have a snowblower they should be your first call each year for a tune up or if you are having trouble getting it running.

Arrived on time; routine maintainance done; discovered problem for which he did not have part. Took machine to shop, repaired and returned which cost a lot more than just the tuneup.

The provider was unable to perform the work for more than a month and wanted to charge me an additional $35.00 travel fee on top of the specified deal price. No thanks.

Would highly recommend. I bought the 89$ tuneup and knew that there would be possible other repairs as the snowblower was 10+ years old and never serviced, especially after last winter. I had made a mistake and purchased the snowblower and lawn mower tuneup and they immediately contacted me to say that I should contact angies list to change the service as I was only needing the snowblower service and the cost was less. I appreciated that. Communication was great, they came to house (which is awesome so you don't have to drag the snowblower anywhere) to do tuneup but took to shop for the other chute repair that was needed. They finished the repairs and delivered the snowblower. Although no snow to try it on yet, everything sounds great and chute moves so much better.
