Installing the flashing corrected a long-standing problem we have had with our gutters and also ended up addressing some issues we had with water getting into the basement. Overall, the work was done very well.

We are performing substantial renovation on our home, and called several tradespeople to access/estimate jobs in the last week of March. Steve was the first one to return our call, first one to provide an estimate (which was done at 7am while we were not there), and first one to start and finish his job. All within a week of when we first contacted him. We are most impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, efficiency, and quality of work. Several of our neighbors observed his work and have taken his contact from us. We definitely intend to go back to him for routine gutter cleaning every year.

He was professional, courteous, and did a very good job. We will use him again for sure.

I picked this contractor based on Angies list reviews. I called last August to get a quote to repair and/or replace the gutters on an older Victorian home. The were busy and couldn't schedule an estimate until several weeks later but I accepted thier date because of the positive reviews. Stephen did come on time at the appropriate day. It was raining but he still took the time (over an hour in the rain) to measure and pull the ladder off his truck to view the gutters up close. We spent some time talking about options and agreed ful replacement would be best. He said he would send an estimate shortly. Then I waited. No estimate. I called. No return call. I called again. Nothing. No something could have happened so I gave him the benefit of the doubt - but I see that people are stil posting reviews so called again this spring. Still nothing. If he didn't want the job for whatever reason, he should have just said so. But professionalism means he should have provided an estimate promptly and returned phone calls asking about service. Better luck to you.

This experience was perfect from beginning to end. First, a friendly, informative person answered the phone and established a convenient time for an estimate. Stephen arrived on time, understood my problem quickly, explained options, and proposed how it might be fixed. The work was done neatly, exactly as he had proposed, and completed sooner than expected. My only regret is that I cannot ask him to do all the other fix-its that need doing around the house.

Quick estimate and work was done quickly and to the estimate. Would use again. Gutters are performing well.

Got a recommendation here, called and got the voice mail. Mr. Frederick called back within several minutes, said he had a few minutes because he was going to be in Cambridge, and came out when he said he would (on the same day). Altogether satisfactory! Well done.

Mr. Frederick and his men arrived when they said they would and performed the work as stated at the price agreed to. I had a minor problem with the gutter guards that were on the gutters prior to the work being performed not being replaced after the work was completed. I immediately brought this to Mr. Frederick's attention and he had his men come the next day and replace the gutter guards.

Responded very quickly to our call and came the first day the weather permitted to fix the roof. They did a great job after 2 other gutter repairs from other companies had failed. Very nice and courteous.

I called to schedule gutter cleaning. Stephen promptly returned my call and within a few days inspected the gutters, explained what he would do and provided a cost estimate for the work. As soon as weather permitted, his team cleaned and repaired the gutters. The gutters have not worked this well for a long time. I'm very happy happy with the overall experience. The work was well done and Stephen was pleasant to deal with. I would definitely call him again.

He came to my home when he said he would be there and did a good job.

I called the company for an estimate and they scheduled an appointment promptly. The rep came 30min late, examined the gutters and the house and promised to provide an estimate within two days. It has now been two and a half weeks and I never heard back from the company, even though I called them twice leaving messages with my phone number.

He was prompt, helpful, and the price was right.

The overall experience went well. would definitely hire him again. I called multiple people to come give quotes. I even said yes to several others at higher prices that never bothered to show up to do the actual work. Stephen came in under all the other quotes, probably because he was the only one to go on a ladder to see what he needed to do. The next great part was he actually showed up to do the work. It's unfortunate that Stephen is one of very few people in this business that know what they are doing and do it well.

Our big need was to keep water from dripping onto our front steps from behind the gutter and freezing in winter. Stephen came out, quickly identified the problem, and recommended new flashing all along the front of the house. We also needed a new drainpipe, and he recommended a slight modification at the bottom that keeps it off our driveway and stops it from being crushed by car wheels. He gave me an extremely reasonable quote right on the spot, and said he'd be back within a couple of weeks, weather permitting. Lo and behold, he was back that very afternoon and the job is now complete! He was always professional and polite, and we would call him again in a heartbeat if we have future problems.

The 3 man crew + Stephen, showed up (earlier than I had expected, but that was not a problem) and went right to work. They were very efficient and professional. I told them about the downspout I thought was clogged. They checked it out, said that it was and quickly cleared it. Meanwhile the other two crew members simply went about their work, each taking a different section of the house to clean. They were finished in a little over an hour, packed up their ladders and removed the debris and headed off to their next job. I felt fortunate to get the work done as I had called in December, and I worried that they would not be doing any more cleaning. Luckily this has been a mild December and they were still cleaning the gutters. All things considered it was a good experience.

I noticed that our gutters were leaking at a 90 degree turn, right onto our front stairs, resulting in dangerously icey stairs throughout the winter. I called Stephen and made a free estimate appointment. Stephen was punctual, and provided a reasonable estimate. I could tell by his explanation that he knew what he was doing, and felt confident that he would fix the issue. Stephen came during the time estimated, and was finished in 2 hours. He removed, and repitched the gutter, removed, sealed, and rivited the joints so that it would solve any leak issues, and removed and reinstalled my gutter guards. Watching him work made me think of this: most of the time, if you want a job done right, you do it yourself...I felt that Stephen did the job as if I was doing it myself. It hasn't rained yet, so I can't tell if the 90 degree turn still leaks on our front stairs, but Stephen said his work is guaranteed, so I'll be watching. I feel that with what he did, it should work.

In spite of a couple more emails and phone calls from my husband, we have not heard one more word from Stephen. Perhaps there are extenuating circumstances, but at this point we don't know what they might be. Accordingly, we found someone else on Angies's List who responded immediately and the gutters are now clean. (We will be giving them an appropriately positive rating.)

I requested an estimate and opinion on the work and was promptly scheduled and visited. The opinion was provided both as a written estimate as well as a very helpful verbal conversation on the phone to come to the best solution. The estimate came in to be the most reasonable of 3 we obtained. Once we agreed to do the work, they scheduled us and completed the work with a high-quality outcome. They have also guaranteed / promised to come back and make adjustments if there are any issues/ problems in the winter with ice related to the re-routing.

The job went great, they were professional and did good work. They showed up on time as well. I plan on using them to clean my gutters when the leaves fall.

Stephen was very responsive and knowledgable when he came to give us an estimate. In fact, he was the only contractor (out of 4 we got quotes from) that actually got his ladder out to inspect the problem close up. He was able to see that we didn't need new gutters, or have the existing gutters cleaned, we just needed flashing nailed in so that the rain wouldn't fall in behind the gutter and down the walls of the house. His quote therefore was the most reasonable, at least $500-$2000 less than the others. He performed the work himself (with one other employee). We did have to call him back out because he forgot to look at the back of the house as agreed to, but once we got in touch with him, he promptly returned the next day. The only minor complaint is that it was difficult to get in touch with him and messages were not always passed along. But once you did speak to him, he was very responsive.

His guys cleaned our gutters in August, after calling twice. Charged $260. After leaving, we noticed 3rd floor gutters were not fully cleaned. Overflow a month later. Called him back to fix the problem. He claims all the gutters re-filled b/c of nearby trees and charged us another $150 to re-clean them. Seriously, how do the gutters refill so fast? Maybe the job would have been performed differently if Stephen was present for the initial cleaning. How can he insist the 3rd floor gutters were cleaned when he wasn't present?

He was there when I needed him. He did a lot of things for me that I couldn't do myself to take care of roof issues.

He was very good. He was on time and cleaned up after the work was finished. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else in the area. He gave an accurate estimate for the work that needed to be done.
