I was pleased with his responsiveness and the quality of his paint job. They were thorough and painted with care inside the closets, in the bathoooms, and certain parts of the ceiling. He finishes the job before taking payment, and is willing to come back and touch up if needed.

I thought the price Giovanni quoted me was fair, and he stuck to the estimate. They did the work really fast, it only took one day (3-4 people working) and it came out great. They did a very nice and thorough job, even after weeks I'm surprised to see nooks where they actually went through the trouble of painting (like behind the fridge). They also left the place very clean, and there are no drops of paint on the floor or trim or anything like that. Only minor complaint is that in some places you can still see the 'bumpy' areas where the drywall was repaired (this is the only reason I put B and not A for quailty). Overall, a very good job, and would definitely go with Blessed Painting in the future.

He performed as promised and did a great job.

The bid was high but reasonable and given the reviews here I expected first class work. During the estimation I was assured by Giovanni that both the new and old walls would be repaired. "No problem." Once painting began, it became clear right away that they were doing no repairs to the walls. When I asked him about that and insisted that they be patched (all minor imperfections) he told me that they don't do repairs on new plaster--that only the plasterer could do that. He also told me that I was expecting too much from him to repair the walls. He also damaged the doors by stripping them with scrappers in places. Since this was contrary to our contract I fired him from the job. To his credit, Giovanni had not asked for a down payment and I refused to pay for the work that he did until I could get a new estimate and painter. The new estimate was a little more that Giovanni had asked and I paid him nothing. Also he left a lot of dust around the house because his electric sanders did not have vacuums connected to them.

We are very happy with the work done on the room. Blessed's estimate was very reasonable, and Giovani promised that he could do the job to a tight deadline. He finished the work on time despite the difficulty of removing the old wallpaper, the additional holes left in the walls by the electrician, and our decision to use multiple paint colors. Most of the work was done by his workers, but Giovani was always around to answer questions and fix any problems. He did a beautiful job of patching and smoothing the walls, and supervised the final touches of the painting. He insisted that I examine the room before paying him!

I was very pleased with the service provided by this company. They quoted me a fair price, showed up when they said they would and did a beautiful job.

Giovani is such a sweet man! Initially, he got confused with the appointment for consultation, but when I called him and reminded him of the appointment - he immediately dropped what he was doing and dashed down to our house. He even left a paint color wheel with us so we could choose our colors. We choose our colors, emailed him with what we wanted and he was very responsive. He was very professional and we were excited to work with him. He was super accommodating schedule-wise and the consultation was on a Friday and he and his crew showed up Monday. They worked really fast, put two really high quality coats of paint on all the rooms ... the place looks amazing and we couldn't be happier with the results.

He was responsive and reliable. The quality of his work was good. I am still in contact with him and would use him again in the future if needed.

We found Blessed Paining on Angie's List along with several other highly rated painting companies. Giovani was the quickest to respond to our inquiry, though many responded promptly. After a walkthrough with Giovani, it became clear that he had the sharpest eye of all the candidates, noticing many details which we hadn't considered. That being said, our top 3 choices were quite astute, though Giovani was a bit ahead of them in terms of what he saw. He also came in the 3rd highest quote, behind the other 2 top contenders, and he said he would accomplish the work in 2 days versus 5 days from the other top 2. We liked his attention to detail, his schedule, and his cost, so it made the choice very simple. He did not provide an itemized list of work with his estimate, which others did, but we weren't worried given we had such a detailed walkthrough and he had great comments on Angie's List. Giovani and his men worked 7:30am to 7pm on the first day and 7am to 6pm the second, finishing everything including some additional work which we discussed on day 2. In our case, this wasn't about simply painting a few rooms. The condition of the walls, ceiling, stairs, and doors was poor, as they were incredibly worn, cracked, and damaged. This job required a lot of repairing and preparation. Somehow Giovani and his men managed to get enough done on day 1 that we could sleep in our bedroom, which was being repaired/painted as well. We opted to use no-VOC paint, and this made sleeping there much more tolerable than it would have been otherwise. We feel Giovani repaired our place to almost new condition. As you can tell from these before and after photos (best viewed large), there is a great deal of work behind the fresh paint that needed to be done. The ceiling of the stairwell was in dire shape, and it looks clean and new now. The doors were cracked and bumpy, and now they are smooth and look fantastic. The stairs were cracked, peeling, and caulk worn away, and now they look sharp and clean. In addition, Giovani delighted us by paying attention to aesthetic details, like replacing broken electrical socket covers without having even mentioned it or charging us for it. He and his men all seem to work really well together even though they work hard and long hours. We are absolutely going to use Giovani again when we are ready to do more painting on the living/dining room areas and bathrooms. He was a pleasure to work with and the results speak for themselves. Blessed painting was excellent. They came quickly, gave a reasonable estimate, followed up quickly to start the job, did excellent work, and then left the place very clean. The whole experience with Blessed was great.

Giovanni was very quick to respond to my initial quote request and we set up a visit right away. He and his colleague were very professional when looking at the scope of work and emailed me a detailed estimate within a couple days which was great. Did not end up working with Giovanni but I would highly recommend him based upon my experience.

I called Giovanni on Saturday, May 30, 2010. He offered to come by the next day. Later on Saturday he called back and asked if he could come by since he was in the area. He showed up shortly thereafter. I received an itemized quote for the items I needed done. I thought the amount sounded very fair. We did not set a start date since I would not be at home during the following week. The next Sunday, Giovanni called to see if he could start the following day, but unfortunately I would be traveling and not available so I offered to call him when I returned. I called him Saturday, June 12 and he asked if he could come Monday. I was thrilled since I was having a party the next weekend. Giovanni called back on Sunday to say he needed to take his van in for brake repair on Monday morning and he would come by right after which was fine. He kept me informed of the time he would arrive again on Monday morning. He and his team arrived on Monday and got right to work. They stayed until 7pm still putting in a full day of work. They came early the next morning and finished the job by 2:30pm. The three men spent the last half hour inspecting their own work! Blessed painting did a great job. They were pleasant, professional, quick and very thorough. I not only would use them again, I would highly recommend them.

It is going on very well. The people who come to see the condo comment on the painting; he did an excellent job. It looks very nice. There was no paint anywhere except on the wall. He cleaned up very well after painting. I would recommend him for any interior paint job. He uses very high quality paint. His estimate was not the cheapest, but it was one of the most competitive. He got back to us through email. He was very punctual.

Giovanni came very quickly when I called and was happy to paint the two bedrooms, even though it was quite a small job. He gave me a very reasonable quote and when he and his two men came to do the work I asked if they would also do the front porch. We did not fix a date as he wanted to do the inside work when it was raining. This was fine for me as I am working at home at present and the job was not particularly urgent. In the end they came before it rained. They completed the bedrooms in 1 day. They worked very hard, did a good job and left everything clean and tidy. They did the porch a bit later and over several days since it needed to dry out after it was washed and before it was sealed. It all looks great and it was a very easy and relaxed experience for me and I would definitely use them again.

He was easy to work with, communicated well and did a great job with the painting. His only drawback was that he had a bit of little splatters on my stained window frames. The paint job itself was excellent, but I only rated it a good because he didn't cover things up quite well enough.

I hired Giovanni in spite of the fact that his price was the highest of the three quotes I received, because I was impressed by his knowledge and attention to detail during the walk-through. I am happy I did. He showed up when he said he would and did excellent work. He was flexible and accommodating, and he cleaned up after himself. If you're willing to spend a little more for quality work, Giovanni is your man.

I cannot say enough good things about Giovanni. His initial estimate was extremely fair compared to the other estimates I got. When I had to unexpectedly add some work after he had already started, he charged a very fair price for the work even though he could have gouged me since he was already working in the house. Giovanni is not that type of guy, though. He is a hard worker and extremely professional. He originally told me that he could start the job either Saturday or Monday, depending on another job. When he wasn't able to make it on Saturday, he called that night and asked if it would be okay for him to come in the next morning. He and his partner were at the house at 7:30am on a Sunday! Now that is true work ethic. They worked hard and finished in the time they said they would, left their work areas absolutely clean, and the resulting paint job is gorgeous.

Giovanni was a delight to work with. He responded to us very quickly, was on time for his estimate appointment, provided a very reasonable estimate within a day, and was able to start work within two days. He worked from 7 am to 7 pm and finished in an amazing amount of time. All of the furniture and floors were very well protected and put back where they started. There wasn't a stray drop of paint anywhere. The paint job itself was perfect - all lines clean and everything was done as specified. I have never had a better experience with a contractor.
