I really liked working with Color Matters. Sandro came and gave an estimate promptly, and when we changed the scope of the project to include the whole exterior he promptly modified the estimate and gave credit for shutters that did not have to be painted. The four-person crew arrived on time each day at 8:30 to begin work. They always cleaned up at the end of the day. The crew led by Manuel worked together well and seemed to like their work. When some storm windows had to be removed and reset after the painting was finished, the crew returned and happily obliged. They were a pleasure to work with - accomodating, thorough, neat, and they did careful work. I would hire them again.

The team did a superb job painting six exterior decks on our condo building. They were on time, professional, diligent and thorough. Sandro was responsive throughout. Will use again! Dan

Quality work at a fair price. Sandro and his team arrived at 8:00 AM on the day they were scheduled to start the job. After doing a walk through with Sandro, the team got started immediately. Covered all furniture and put drop cloths on carpets / hardwood floors. Told job would be about 4 days, and that is how long it took. Team showed up on time, every day, worked long days, cleaned up at end of every day. They prepped the walls - patched holes and rough spots, sanded, then painted. My wife and I as very happy with how everything came out. Very impressed with the professionalism and quality of the work.

This project couldn't have gone better. It was a pleasure working with Sandro and his team. They were polite, friendly, and very neat! They did an incredible job painting the interior of our house. I worked with Sandro and Color Matters Painting on several exterior projects and a minor repair on the interior that resulted from water damage. Living in New England the exterior of a home takes a beating and needs near constant repair. I recently had the roof and windows replaced in our home and needed to tackle the last project. Much of the trim around all the windows, dormers and chimney had been severely water and snow damaged and needed to be replaced. Sandro and I walked the whole house and worked out most of the repairs needed. He marked everything he could see and would change order anything that was missed. I also decided to stain the whole house along with changing the color of the trim to match the replacement windows. Sandro was quite busy, so we had to delay the start for several weeks, but he started the project on the agreed upon day and finished the exterior staining/trim painting project in a few weeks. After completion I decided to have him also repair our deck and stain the back and front decks and the pergola. As mentioned his team also repair a minor plaster hole that result from a bathroom remodel done a year before by another contractor. Sandro and his team were very professional. Communication was prompt and kept me update on any changes to the scope of work including detailed changes to the quote as necessary. Nothing was a surprise at the end of the job. I would recommend Color Matters Painting for anyone looking to do interior or exterior repair and painting. The work was top notch. I will definitely hire again should it be necessary.

The team did a great job removing old layers of paint and smoothing the surfaces before they repainted. We have a 19th century home and they were able to get the surfaces very clean and repainted to make it look bright and new again! They cleaned up and kept the property in good shape throughout the work.

We gathered estimates from highly rated Angies List companies. Sandro's proposal was detailed, responsive, and competitive. Once we finalized the scope of work we were put on the schedule and the team started when he said they would. The only caveats were if the weather was going to affect the timelines and he helped set that expectation early on. In the end, the project finished smoothly and as expected. Sandro also made sure to quickly fix any issues that showed up before a final walk through. The teams were punctual, hard working, and professional. Our neighbors even came over to ask Sandro for an estimate after seeing our house beautifully painted. I highly recommend for future projects.

I highly recommend Color Matters. After providing a quote for the project, Sandro was able to get started the very next day. This was important to us as we were moving into a new home and wanted to get 4 interior rooms painted before moving in. The crew finished in just 2 days, and we were able to move in a whole week earlier than expected. They worked quickly, but also carefully -- everything looked perfect. Sandro was an excellent communicator, responding quickly to phone calls and emails. We were concerned about a smoke smell in the house and he worked with us to address it. We are so happy with how our new house looks!

Color Matters has been great to work with from the initial estimate to the final checklist, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. This is the third time we have had our home painted, so I have something to compare it to. The initial estimate was precise and detailed, and every aspect of it was fulfilled. The price quoted was competitive with two other estimates we received. Sandro answered all my questions and was responsive and easy to get in touch with throughout the project. These painters have a high standard for the quality of their work. They work efficiently and quickly, always turning up on time and putting in long days. There was a core crew here every day, with a couple of other painters rotating in and out, but they communicate well with each other and work well as a team. They roll the paint on and brush it out as they go - no spraying, with very nice results. The trim work is precise, and the house looks beautiful! All of the painters were very pleasant young gentlemen and a pleasure to have around. They checked in regularly if they had questions and to make sure I was happy with the work. They were careful not to damage shrubs around the house, and cleaned up everything at the end of each work day. I am happy to be able to give Color Matters a very high recommendation. We are extremely happy with their work, and we have already asked them for a quote on an interior project that is next on the list.

These guys are responsive, quick, and detailed. They also were great about taking down window treatments, moving furniture out of the way, and ensuring everything was covered. My wife and I are thrilled that we hired Sandro and his team. If you need interior painting, you can trust you made a good decision here.

Sandro and his team have been fantastic! They came when they said they would come. They were respectful of our home in general and of the new kitchen we had just finished. They were careful in their preparation. They did an excellent job in both the new kitchen and in the older parts of our very old house. When we wanted things done a specific way they were very willing to accomodate our requests. They cleaned up after themselves. And when we found things that needed touching up even after they finished they came back and did the work without a hassle. I would highly recommend them!

I needed drywall repair for 3 cellar walls, part of cellar ceiling, and part of walls in garage. I had been in touch with Sandro multiple times to talk through the project and to coordinate the work. He was very professional and very responsive. The workers came in two phases: drywall first, then painting second. They were very punctual and ready to work. The drywall was done in one day (which seemed great) until I realized as they were leaving that the drywall to be installed in the garage was not done. So... the drywall folks had to actually come back for a second day. The painting came next and that was fine but with a few hiccups: a color chip was sampled to determine the paint color to be used. This paint color was used for trim and the walls. Since only part of the room was being painted there ended up being a slight color difference between old wall to newly painted wall. The other minor hiccup was when the painters left for the day without letting us know they were done. We were home the whole time, so not sure why they did not call or contact us we could review their work. The other minor thing was a week or so later I noticed a small pile of drywall fragments at the edge of my property in the woods. Looks like the remnants of the drywall project ended up there.

Sandro and his team are AMAZING. We've hired them several times for various jobs. Both interior and exterior painting, lead re-mediation and wall repair, among other things. They are professional and trustworthy; in fact I was pregnant during some of the de-leading and I didn't hesitate for a second to leave Sandro and his colleagues alone in my home. They are reasonably priced, yet provide top-notch work. Can't say enough!!

We needed to have most of our main floor interior repainted, living room, dining room, hallways, front entry, all trims. We got three quotes of which all were close, but Color Matters was slightly lowest. Painters were there on time every day, finished in time quoted, left house clean every day, and work was excellent. Sandro always returned emails within 24 hours. Will use again.

The painters from Color Matters Painting put the finishing touches on a recently renovated full bath. The painted the walls, replaced and painted trim, and paid attention to every little detail. Upon completion, the new paint was what made the bathroom come together. These guys were quick but paid close attention to every detail. I ill work with Color Matters for other projects in my home in the future. No doubt.

The job was performed on time and within budget. Communication was extraordinary, which is so rare with contractors today. The workers were polite and quiet making sure that there was little disruption to me. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. I cannot say enough good things about this contractor.
