When I first called, Mark came right out and emailed an itemized estimate that night. He started the job right on time. His crew arrived promptly every morning and worked all day. They were very professional. Our basement looks better than ever!

We cannot say enough about M D England and Sons. This company is by far THE BEST contractor we have ever had at our house. On July 13th I joined Angie's list and searched for a contractor to rebuild and expand our existing house deck. I happened apon M D England & Sons and called at 9:00 am on a Saturday morning and left a Voice Mail. Within an hour Mark the owner of the company called me back and was at our house (1/2 hour away) within 1 hour, to look at the job. Not only did he come the same day but provided my husband and I his references, license, etc upon meeting us, a true professional. Mark measured the job took drawings and left that Saturday. By 2:00 PM THE SAME DAY I recieved Mark's proposal for the deck. The proposal clearly outlined everything we had talked about listing line by line all materials etc for the job. Both for the house deck and the pool deck. We were unsure if we were going to do the pool deck at that time. After several contractors that Saturday clearly M D England and Sons was the favorite. I sent Mark an email on Monday July 15th telling him we would like to hire him. By Tuesday Mark and his guys were at the house working the new deck. That week it just happened to be a heat wave and not only was the owner Mark working that entire week to get the job finished but both of his guys he had working for him never stopped. Again the workmanship, professionalism was by far the best. Seeing the progress on the house deck we could not pass up the opportunity to do the pool deck. I told Mark on that Friday ( literally 5 days after I had met him) to move forward and we wanted the pool deck done also. Today is Wed July 24th less then 2 weeks from our initial meeting with Mark and both decks are 100% complete and absolutely gorgeous. Mark, Brandon, Joe all of them have been a pleasure to have at our house and work with. Kudo's to this company for not only there workmanship and quality of the work, their professionalism, and a pleasure to work with. It was really nice to see. Finally before they left we have planned on having them return to do another project for us and would hire them again in a heartbeat. I will certainly be on M D England & Sons reference list and would welcome anyone to call me for a reference. They were great.

Mark England and Sons did a great job. They went over and above my expectations to make sure our existing living space was protected from dust and debris. They installed the doors ahead of schedule and below my budget. They were always on time and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them. A +

We had very specific demands and they met everyone of them. Mark England also had great ideas which we not even thought of which ended up doing. This is the kind of service that do not expect from a contractor. Well done, would recommend 100 percent. We are happy with our new space and get compliments about it all the time.

Mark was referred to me by a friend of a friend and I am glad that I called him. I have worked with other contractors in the past and I was not very happy with their sloppy work and attitudes. MD England and Sons were the complete opposite and a pleasure to work with. Mark and his team did a great job transforming my old dungeon of a basement to a beautiful room that I enjoy with my friends and family. Mark handled everything from start to finish and he had great design ideas. The project was worry free since Mark handled all of the subcontractors, electrical, plasterer and painter and they were all professional and did a very good job. I plan on using Mark again in the near future for a new deck, kitchen and bath.

Mark and his team did an outstanding job converting our dingy old basement into a gym and media room! We love our new space, and we would highly recommend M D England and Sons to anyone who has home remodeling needs.
