We found Jeff Veglia through Angie's List. We were in the process of finding a contractor to renovate three bathrooms. Jeff quickly quoted the work and provide excellent local (our town) references. We had planned to take each bathroom down to the studs and complete a 100% rebuild. From demo to completion, Jeff and his team did a fantastic job. My wife always felt safe in the house with our small children. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. Each of the subs that were used (electrical, plumbing, etc) did very high quality work and were better than any that we had used in the past. I always look at the quality of the finish work in bathrooms and the finish work for the tile and the wood came out beautiful. I searched and couldn't find a spot that I thought they missed. Jeff was a good partner throughout the process. We struggled finding tile and, at one point, Jeff worked with my wife at the tile show room to find the right tiles. We found his recommendations to be spot on. We couldn't be happier with the results. Our old bathroom was close to fifty years old. The new bathroom could last just as long. Jeff and his team are already working on the next bathroom.

Both Jeff and his employees were professional, punctual and worked straight through the day to get the job done. The Quality was great- we're very happy with the end result. HIs quote was the lowest of the 3 we obtained and there were no hassles whatsoever.

I contacted Jeff about tiling a large custom shower and floor in a post and beam house. I found out about Jeff from a search here on Angie's List and then was impressed by photos of his work on his company's website. I called Jeff and we set up a time to meet so he could see the job. He showed up on time and was very helpful offering some design suggestions to this unique job. He promptly emailed me his proposal as he had promised. I explained to Jeff that this job was on a tight schedule and had to be finished by a certain date, he said he would work with me to make sure the deadline was met. As the framing for the new bathroom and shower were progressing Jeff was able to meet me several times on site to go over any potential problems thereby eliminating future delays. When the bathroom was ready for tile Jeff and his experienced crew showed up on time on the day I was expecting them and got right to work. They were neat and took care to protect the rest of the house, as this bathroom was on the 2nd floor. Communication between myself and Jeff or his crew was great as they made sure the tile layout was what I wanted. He took time to go over every detail with me and did the job exactly to each specification. When the marble jambs came in a little too wide instead of installing them as is, Jeff took them off site to a marble finisher to be cut, beveled and polished and had them back the next day ready to install. It was that type of attention to detail that really impressed me and showed me that Jeff takes a lot of pride in his work. The shower and bathroom floor came out beautiful and they actually finished the job a day ahead of schedule. I would definitely hire Jeff again and most certainly would recommend him to anyone.

Jeff was very prompt in getting me a quote. His communications while scheduling the work were very professional and punctual. His tilers showed up on time, were friendly, offered helpful suggestions on how to improve the design and were patient when I changed my mind several times. They were fabulous and I would use them again.

When we first called Jeff, we thought we were only going to re-tile some sections of one bathroom. He gave us a quote for that small job. Soon after, it became clear we needed to re-plumb the entire house and remodel all 5 bathrooms as well, and we called him back again based on our positive initial experience and his List reviews. He turned out to be as fabulous as his reviews and saved our butt on more than one occasion. Jeff is an easy going guy with a pleasant personality. He treats his workers well and they are a great team. He helped us from start to finish (which included planning the move and complete redesign of the master bathroom) and met with us as much as we needed (which was a lot). He was at times a little disorganized, but so were we, so it s hard to say if that s entirely on him. He answered his phone 90% of the time and was quick to return messages when he couldn't t answer. The quality of Jeff s work was first rate. He and his own crew did really great tile work and almost all of Jeff s subs were fantastic (particularly the plasterer and glass guy). We even hired some of his subs for other work in the house, not related to the bathrooms. The only sub we were really unhappy with was his finish carpenter. He was a disaster, doing shoddy work not only in the bathrooms but also on other projects for which we hired him. To his credit, Jeff remained extremely professional throughout these problems. The carpenter was someone Jeff had worked with for many years and on many jobs, and Jeff had never had this problem before. Jeff listened patiently to all our concerns, met with us to review all the work in question, was quick to concede that the work needed to be made right, and worked to correct the problems rapidly. Jeff also made the best of the very tough situation we were in more generally. During 12 of the 15 month renovation, we were living in New York and Indiana, flying in to check up on things once a week. He was flexible about meeting with us on the days we were in town, although he could not always give us a specific time. Also, for various reasons, we had not hired a general contractor for the work we were doing on our house (which included refurbishing all the windows, certificated de-leading, a new heating system, new electrical and new plumbing) and so each sub we had hired was responsible for pulling their own permit. When Jeff went to pull the permit for the bathroom work, the inspector discovered that our heating and cooling company had never pulled a permit for the installation of the new boiler. The inspector was extremely angry, thought that we were trying to hide something, and threatened to shut us down. Jeff was able to calm him down and saved us by pulling a permit for not only the bathroom work, but the other miscellaneous things the inspector was concerned about. Overall we are extremely happy that we hired Jeff. The bathrooms are gorgeous and he was great to work with.

Jeff is wonderful! We have worked with 3 other contractors and this was by far our best experience. He was always quick to respond to our calls. Prompt in getting started with the job. He is very flexible and has a very easy going approachable manner. He was very thorough and his work is top quality. His team is great - very skilled and nice! Wonderful to work with them.

It turned out to be a much bigger job than originally anticipated -- renovations in old New England houses are always complicated. Job ran several days longer than originally anticipated, but Jeff's crew worked hard and continued until it was done, and kept the costs close to the original estimate. Am generally quite happy with the results.

Took a couple of weeks for him to get back to me because he was on vacation. Then once he emailed/returned my call, he set up a date to come take a look for an estimate. He sound like he wasn't interested in doing the project and then told me he will get back to me in a couple of weeks with the quote. Never heard from him again!! This was over 3 months ago! Thanks a lot Jeff!

Jeff was easy to deal with and very accommodating. I was able to schedule the work quickly and his estimate was very fair and right on target. Gene did a fabulous job on the tile installation, even working around an awkwardly placed electrical conduit.

He was very good and very fast. He was easy to work with. I would be pleased to work with him again in the future.

Jeff and his crew were professional from start to finish. The quality of the work is beautiful, and Jeff even came over on short notice to re-grout an electrical box that had gone in crooked. He's very available by phone, and responds promptly -- a major plus with contractors!

Jeff is a great guy and his people are professional and very good at what they do. Jeff followed up on the job, making sure we were happy. He returns calls promptly and is very professional.

Overall, I'm very happy with the job. First, I think the quality is excellent. It was more difficult/costly for Jeff & Co. to install the wallboard but I'm sure it will be worth it. In fitting/laying the tile, the guys did a great job; the finished product looks fantastic. Jeff was really responsive in the whole process. When I was prepping, he was always available by phone. Even though his shop is busy, he definitely paid good attention to the job. He helped a lot with the design how to do the niches, borders, etc. and I think it resulted in a better product. He also sourced the tile at a better price than I could get and got the marble fab'd. Last, his crew was really pleasant to work with. They asked questions when needed, kept things pretty clean, and clearly know what they're doing. I didn't get many bids on the work but I think the price was pretty fair considering 2 skilled guys worked hard for two weeks and Jeff paid a fair bit of attention. Overall, very good.

Jeff came out and took a look. We quickly had an estimate and within 6 weeks or so he started the work (exactly the week he said he would) He was prompt, quick, his crew was friendly and courteous. Price was amazingly reasonable for the quality of the work. (Price listed did not include cost of tile, which we got from a designer, painting or the glass door/fixed plate on bath/shower. He added many touches that we wouldn't have thought of (such as the recessed shelves and sill/shelf under the new window and his tile work is stunning. Even our town inspector raves about his work. He did a better, more reasonable priced job than the "high end" contractors who have done other renovations for us. We would hire Jeff again in a heartbeat.

After getting Jeff's name from Angie's List, I left a message for Jeff about three weeks before Christmas giving an overview and asking if the job could be completed before the holiday. I received a call back the same day, he said that his schedule was tight but he would work with me and if the tile could be ordered and arrive in time he would do his best. He came out the very next day to review the design and made very practical suggestions as to the feasibility of the design my interior decorator recommended. He made a few alternative suggestions to minimize the number of "cuts" which would have resulted in some choppiness to the overall look. Of course the tile was a bit delayed in arriving but when it came in the Wednesday before Christmas, I called. He came out the next morning with his two installers, we reviewed the layout and for the next two days they worked non-stop to get it done. It looks absolutely beautiful I could not be happier or recommend Jeff more highly!

My original contractor did not finish the job, and I was unable to get him to return, even though he had taken the whole payment. I then contacted Angie's List and got Mr. Veglia to send someone over. The job was done to my satisfaction, and in time.

HE DID THE WORK ONLY TWO DAYS AFTER WE FIRST CALLED HIM. HE AND HIS COLLEAGUE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY CLEARLY ARE PROFESSIONALS WHO TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK AND KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THE DID THE ENTIRE JOB IN ONE DAY.
