I was not home when they did the job.

Easy to schedule and did not need to be at home.

I was home when they arrived late in the day, heard them set up a ladder towards the front of our roof, looked out the window and saw a few leaves they cleared out fluttering down. I thought that they were going to clean it by hand as they promised. I then saw a second guy bring a hose up the ladder and heard him walking across the roof, even though I was told when I set up the appointment that they would not be on the roof. I heard the hose being dragged across the roof, saw water spraying across the window, as putting my shoes on to go talk with them to make sure they got the message to pay special attention to the back corner where we thought there was a clog or a birds nest. As I went out the front door, I saw they were loading up the ladder and getting ready to leave (not even 15 mins after arriving). I walked out to the truck and inquired where they were going and why they had not cleaned the gutters "by hand" as promised. They said they found that there were very few leaves in the gutters, so they just flushed the gutters out with a hose. Since I knew that was impossible, that they hadn't even repositioned the ladder and just sprayed a little water in the front gutters, I asked them what they had found in the clogged area in the back. They answered that if they cleaned the back part of the gutter (that extended over the porch), they would have to charge extra for it. We had a disagreement about what gutters go around the "main part" of the house verses the around and addition or porch (their exclusion in the deal). Our back section of the gutter parallels the back part of the roof, there is no gutter higher up. Because they were adamant that they would have to charge extra due to company policy, I told them to do the back gutter which was clogged and that I would deal with management. They reluctantly set up the ladder in the back (which they hadn't done initially), reached in the gutter to pull out a handful of leaves, and ran some water through the downspout. Then they packed up and left. I called the person that I set up the appointment with and told him what happened. I told him there was no way I was paying extra for what should have been the agreed upon work. He expressed concern about the totally unacceptable job they'd done and said again that they should not have been on the roof or dragging hoses on it. He asked if they had damaged the roof, which I had no way of knowing. I would never use this company again and I believe they should refund me since they didn't actually do the whole house gutter cleaning that was actually promised. I paid $99 for 15 minutes of shoddy, unprofessional work that was unacceptable.

The company showed up on time, did a professional job, and left no mess or debris. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent.

I purchased a big deal for gutter cleaning and paid them extra to clean the gutters on my detached garage. They contacted me via email right away to set up an appointment and let me wait until the leaves had finished falling. I could not select a specific day, instead we selected a week and they magically arrived one day to clean out the gutters (I did not have to be home). The gutters were cleaned, there was no mess left behind and they left an inspection report. I have no complaints!

The only caution I would have is if you are buying one of their gutter cleaning deals, which excludes additions, that you talk to someone in charge first to make sure your whole house is covered. My house was built back in the 1930's and sits on one original foundation. For some reason one of the field workers decided that one side of my house was an addition not covered by the coupon. A call to HQ solved the problem but I would be certain about this if they offer the deal again. Otherwise, fine, no problems.

The service was good, but they set up their ladders on my neighbor's property without asking, and their report on my gutter system was not informative or helpful.

They called and confirmed they were coming the next day and to make sure there is running water outside. They came and cleaned the gutters without having anyone needed home. Minor nuisance was that they left behind a bag of leaves that I needed to bring to DPW since they stopped leaf pickups. The weekend after the work was completed I noticed that a couple of the downspouts were not reconnected to the gutter. I called and within a week came back to the house to reconnect the downspouts.

Fantastic company, they have cleaned our gutters twice. Excellent, professional communication, received a report each time. They even came back free of charge the 1st time because we thought we had a leak. They are a role model for all service providers.

Excellent job and what they did seems to be working in managing water away from our home.

Overall, I thought the people who answered the phone were friendly and helpful.

Easy scheduling - quick. They do not require you to be at home (although this time I did paid them directly). They clean the gutters quickly and then pack the debris removed into a black plastic bag they leave at your property for regular weekly trash removal. The job is a simple one but well done. My only wish is that they removed the plastic bag to make the experience a perfect one. They have been increasing prices over the last few times I have been using them. If it wasn't because of the price increases they would have me as a customer for life. I may still use them again next year.

Booked through Angie's list. Pleased to hear that the attached garage was part of the quoted $99 price. the attached screened in porch was $35 extra. They came when expected, and did the job quickly and well. I was working outside at the time, and liked the people who came. Very pleased.

Surprisingly incompetent. First, they claimed they completed work while it looked to me they never even showed up. Turns out they went to a wrong address. Then they showered me with invoices even though I paid through Paypal at the time of ordering. As for the work itself, leaves that were on top of gutter meshes stayed there, so I can't even tell whether the gutters were cleaned. If this is what Angie calls top rated, I probably should unsubscribe.

No complaints at all. They had to cancel once, but gave me plenty of notice. Would definately use them again.

They came in and finished the job in 15 minutes and did not communicate with the occupants until job was done. They left a mess (leaves and other stuff from gutter) in front of the garage and in front of the house and did not clean it up. They promised a "No Mess" Guarantee in an email-yet they did not clean up

Great. I set up the appointment for the week I wanted them to come. They sent a bunch of guys to do the work (5 or 6). They were done in under an hour and cleaned up after themselves.

Have used New England Gutters in the past, and they did not disappoint this time either. Showed up when expected, did the job, and cleaned up afterward. There is no need to be at home when they come which makes their service very convenient. All they need is access to an outside faucet with a check for the fee in an envelope taped to the door. Great company with which to work.

The scheduling process was easy, and the service was performed on time and as described. The output of the inspection was weak. Someone called me and described at a very high level where two leaks were. However, I didn't get enough detail to actually find and fix the problems, and I didn't get anything in writing I could reference later. I would do this again but just adjust my expectations.

I not only wanted NE Gutter Kings to clean my gutters, I wanted them to assess the condition of them as well. What I am extra pleased about is that they cleaned one side of the house's gutters but couldn't clean the other side because my neighbor's car was in the way. This did not upset them, as they came back the next week to finish the job, without charging more. While they did provide an assessment of our gutters, they have not called with any cost quotes yet. Their crews were polite and courteous.

They were thorough and professional. I would use them again.

They came on the promised to clean the gutters. They also explained other gutter services they provide, and I decided to use that service at a later date.

Their original proposal was for a more expensive product than I wanted. I spoke to them on the phone, and they sent me a revised proposal that was more in line with my budget. I agreed to the reduced cost proposal. They came on the promised date to install the hardware, but their measurement was wrong, so they could not complete the job. They came back a second time and completed the work to my satisfaction. I then hired them for another job to repair a broken downspout. They are responsive and easy to do business with.

Overall, work done was good. I would not buy the Angie's deal again unless I could persuade them to do the whole house.
