When tried to explain to them that there are 2 houses with similar number, they didn't seem to particularly pay attention and they came out and cleaned our neighbor's house first. They when I called them, they did come out promptly and cleaned ours. They seemed to do a nice job overall. however, couple of the gutters at the seams have a leak and this did not seem to be commented on or addressed. I was not home at the time of their service to bring it to their attention. I did not mention this at the time of booking the job, so partly my fault.

Cleaning. Excellent! Repairs/replace. Never heard back.

They waited a long time before coming to do the job, so long that getting the job done before snow came was quite urgent. When they did, they announced that my garage was an "addition" so they were going to charge me more. The garage was built into the body of the house when the house was built in 1930; there is no interpretation that would make it an "addition," nor did it create any additional gutters than the main part of the house. The Big Deal was just a bait and switch. I complained to Angies List but nothing was done. I talked to the company owner but all he cared about was that he had collected some extra money. I'm disappointed that Angies List allows this kind of fraud. The date is approximate.

Very prompt, professional, and helpful in service provided, and in advice given. I appreciated their providing a small repair at no additional cost to job they were asked to do. Job was done quite a while ago, and I can not recall all the specifics.

Very fast--they arrived quickly checked out the gutters, cleaned them and left.

They were fine. They really did a good job.

I heard from NE Gutter Kings very shortly after signing up for the deal, which was a bid plus. But, when I scheduled the visit they were unable to accommodate my request to be home during the cleaning. They're schedules are set the day before and they weren't able to let me know when they were coming prior to their arrival. They also seemed to mix up my appointment dates; I got an automated call alerting me they were coming the next stay, so I worked from home, but no one showed up. I got another automated call about 2 days later with another visit date. So, unfortunately I wasn't home when they did do the gutter cleaning. Also, the only way I knew they came was because there was an invoice on my door. I don't know if my gutters were already superbly clean or if the NE Gutter King team picked up everything that was cleared from the gutter, but there was no obvious signs that the gutters had been cleaned. We did get a summary of service that indicated our gutters were in good shape, so maybe there just wasn't anything to see. All in all, I probably won't utilize this service again, but it wasn't a bad experience.

It took them 3 separate tries to get my gutters cleaned properly. 1st and 2nd crews came to the house and did a p***-poor job, the 3rd crew got it right. They are responsive though (customer service / manager) if you are not satisfied and do the work to get it right which is important. They even gave me a $25.00 discount due to the issues I had with the 1st 2 crews.

Process was easy and professional

I've used the company before, so I called andthey politely made the appointment. Thye called the day before the confirm appointment and explained that they simply needed access to water but noone needed to be home while they performed the service. They cleaned up (no mess) after the service and left the invoice. Painless - very convenient and did a good job.

They show up, they clean your gutters, it's a necessary service and they seem competent. They call at least a day in advance so you can leave the water on. Good service.

Very experience. Will definitely hire them again.

I purchased the Coupon for gutter clean-up from angies list deals...very pleased with price, overall quality of work and responsiveness from new England gutter company. I was actually scheduled for clean-up on the day Storm sandy was supposed to hit New England. They called me to reschedule and on day of work...did really good job.

Came on time and removed all debris from gutters. Removed all trash from yard, and did an excellent job overall.

I was their last appointment of the day, but they did the job with nary an complaint.

Contacted NE Gutter King for a quote, they came out the next day. Quote person wouldn't give me the actual quote until he ran it by his manager. I had to call a week later (they did not call me) to get the number, and they then didn't actually come up with it until a week later. The person who gave me the quote was not the scheduler, so I had to wait for a different person to call me. First time, they scheduled me for a date without checking if it worked for me. I than had to call a number of people to get the right date scheduled. Communicating with this place is a nightmare. The only reason I hired them was because the price was significantly lower than other vendors, but dealing with them was a real pain. Also, I live in the city and they requested I reserve a parking space for them - this would have been easy enough for them to do and wish they had done this. The level of service is low, but you get what you pay for, and the work they did was fine.

They showed up on the day they were scheduled. They provided me with a quote of $180.00 over the phone and stuck to it. Also left the invoice & report for me when work was completed.

They came on time on the scheduled day. Left everything tidy and packed up all the debris from the gutter so it could be placed on the curb. It was well worth the $$ to not have my husband on a ladder doing this all weekend long.

I'm not one for writing long stories for what was a very competent, professional job. But I will say they were excellent. In fact we contacted them again last fall to do another cleaning, and they were every bit as prompt, professional, and thorough.

Overall I am happy with the job that they did. My only minor complaint is that they missed a few spots so there was still some stuff clogging my gutters.

I purchased an Angies list deal for $99.00. This company is insisting on an additional $35.00 because they cleaned the gutters on the back porches that are attached to the house. I could see if they cleaned the gutters on a a detached garage or if there were a lot of gutters on the house but there are only straight runs on the left and right side in addition to one small section of gutter on the back porch. I dont understand why these companies offer deals and then try to squeeze extra cash out of a potential long term customer.

This is a two story house and since I can't be up there to actually see the work it did appear that they had all the appropriate equipment to do a good job.

I called N.E. Gutter Kings a few weeks ago after I received a booklet from Angie's List which gave the company a gold stair. The inside sales rep was very good at taking my information and talking about the work that I need done with my gutters (looking to have gutter guards put onto my gutters). I set up an appointment to have a sales rep come out on Jan 24th at 11:00. Jan 24th comes and by 11:30, the sales rep has not shown up. I call the office and they tell me he should be there but we will call him and find out where he is. The sales rep shows up a couple minutes later (not a big deal but still a call from the sales rep would of been nice to tell me he is running late). The sales rep was very nice though and answered all of our questions and explained the work as well as the items we need in order to have gutter guards added to our gutters. A few days later, I call the company to set up an appointment to have the guards installed. The inside sales rep goes over the details about the process, the contract and the deposit that is required. I told him, the only days I can have the work done is on Monday, Friday or Saturday. I was told Saturday is not possible at this time because the company is not open on Saturday's due to this being their slow time of season. He also told me that due to weather, their is no guarantee about a Friday install and it maybe moved to Monday. I agreed and gave him my charge card number for the deposit that is required (put never sent them a signed copy of the contract). The other day (Wednesday), I receive a call from a Peter (or Paul) saying that they can't come out Friday due to the weather but can do the work on Thursday. I told him that does not work since I told the sales rep only Mondays or Fridays. He went on to say I didn't need to be home. I understand where he was coming from but once I again, I asked him didn't the sales rep put down in the notes section, only Monday or Fridays? He told me yes and once again, tried to talk me into doing the work on Thursday. I told him that will not work. I was then put on hold while he went to talk t the general manager. He came back and said then they will have to get back in touch with me when the weather is warmer to do the work. Sounds fine by me but then I asked for my deposit back since you can't guarantee me a day and once you can, I will then put a deposit down on the job. He then got mad and started to raise his voice and tell me that he can't do that and he will have to talk to his general manager. I told him to put the general manager on the phone which he proceeded to argue with me some more about my deposit and raise his voice again. After asking for the general manager five more times and dealing with an unprofessional employee, I then was talking to the general manager. The general manager got on the phone (never introduced himself and I had to ask for his name which was Jack). Jack then proceeded to tell me why they couldn't come out and do the work which I told him I understand. I said that it is not fair that you are holding my money and can't give me a definite date so I would like my deposit back but once you can give me a date on when you can come out and do the work, I will give you the deposit back. He said that would be fine and I will receive a receipt in the mail. It has been a few days now and I do not have a credit to my charge card but yet, when I gave them my charge card to put a deposit down, my charge card was charged within 24 hours after I gave them the information. Overall, not happy with the a few of the people that I have dealt with and I already have left a message with the company to call me back about refunding my deposit. Very good chance I am not going to move forward with the work that I wanted this company to do plus I may have to call my charge company and have them look into this matter if I don't see a return over the next 24-48 hours.

I purchased a Big Deal off Angie's List for New England Gutter Kings that was titled as follows: Last Chance! $99 for Whole House Professional Gutter Cleaning! I had used NE Gutter Kings in the past and was happy with the service. I figured this was a worthwhile "coupon". I checked in with them in late November after all the leaves had come down to schedule the service. I mentioned the Big Deal, and they said it would cover the whole house, but not any additions. I mentioned it was a three bedroom with a garage underneath and a family room to the side which has the chimney. I don't realy consider it an addition, its a single story room on the side that's part of the design - its not a big house. I was told that this counted as an addition and so would therefore cost an additional $35 - it would have to be a box to not be an addition. So much for a Whole House cleaning. You can put whatever you want in the fine print, but when you say "whole house" then any fine print is going to have to translate to "when we say whole house, we don't really mean WHOLE house." But, considering i had already spent $99 on the deal i gave in and they came out and cleaned the gutters. I was told duiring the "addition" conversation that without the Big Deal, the cost would have been around $180. So, i looked back at my bank records and found that in 2011, they had charged me $130. So basically, the Big Deal was $5 more than i had paid for the same service the year before, without any deal. Not such a Big Deal, and once you commit to the Deal, you're stuck eating the cost, or paying whatever extra they want to charge. Its a shame, i had been very happy with the service, and would have bought the deal every year if it hadn't ended up costing more than it did without the deal the previous year.

They performed the work when I was not at home The second time they came - they tried flushing out the gutter but the water was flushing out of the back seam halfway down the gutter....clearly it was blocked but it was no fault of the company as the gutter was installed into the ground....
