Bob and his team did a good job. He is very busy and there were some scheduling challenges. But overall a good job and I would hire him again.

I almost hesitate to give Bob a good review for fear that everyone will start using him, and I won't be able to get on his schedule when I need him! I've had him do everything from installing new faucets in the kitchen and bathrooms, replacing a new water heater, helping diagnose heating problems, etc. Every time he shows up when he says he will, always does the work in a professional manner, charges very reasonable rates, and is honest and direct with you about what needs to be done (and more importantly what doesn't need to be done) and what the costs will be. I can't recommend him highly enough. He is so trustworthy that most of the time I don't even feel the need to be home when he comes, I just leave the back door unlocked and let him do what he needs to do. I come home and the only evidence he has been there is a fixed problem and an invoice on the kitchen table.

Robert and his helper showed up on time and performed the repair in a very short time. Always the professional they ran into a small problem with the repair, they were able to determine the cause and fixed it. This is a reliable professional and I would highly recommend them.

He managed to schedule an appointment for the same day which was greatly appreciated since I had a leaky outside faucet that could not be turned off. As a new home owner, we have been feeling our way through home repairs. Our latest adventure was losing hot water in the shower. We called R.H. West Plumbing and Robert got back to us right away with a time to come and take a look. He was punctual and was able to fix the problem in no time by replacing the mixing valve. He answered all our questions and even gave us some tips. Because we had the part already and it was minor tweaks, he didnt charge us! In new homeownership its amazing to find a plumber you can trust and give us some help when we need it. I plan to use Robert for all future (hopefully not many) plumbing issues in the future.

Project went great! Bob and his team were fun to work with, explained everything to me, were professional, confident and trustworthy. He helped with the paperwork for the various rebates and incentives offered by MassSave. He also provided multiple options for new systems and explained pros/cons for each. Project consisted of: - Removal of existing oil fired boiler and electric hot water heater. - Setting up a new panel on the other side of the basement (so we could consolidate home services to a "utility room"). - Hung up the new propane burner and on demand hot water heater. - Changed plumbing so it goes to the new location in the basement (reusing existing baseboard radiators). - Drilled out and set up direct vents for the new system. - Helped me find a way to dispose of leftover oil and old tank (ended up giving it to another friend, but it was nice for Bob to help). We did this project in December and Bob was very considerate of our heating needs and planned the work in a way which required minimal downtime for our heating and hot water systems. (total downtime was just a few hours). He also had backup electric heaters ready for us in case something went wrong. We also had one issue during the project. One night, about 30 minutes after Bob had gone home for the night, one of the new connections sprung a leak. I took a couple pictures and emailed them to him... within a few minutes Bob called me back and 15 minutes after that he was back at our house repairing the leak. Great service!

Work went well. Bob & his team are professional and easy to work with. Good guy, will definitely ask him to work with me again in the future.

He was honest and talked about various options. He will be back after the first of the year to do the work. We are very happy with him and will use him again. So far we'd give him a 10.

I contacted West Plumbing for a quote on some work (installing a water softener system). He was very friendly, professional, and prompt. He came out, assessed my home, and gave me a quote on the spot. I ended up using another provider who specialized in water softeners in this case, but I will probably contact West Plumbing again for any plumbing needs.

Everything was taken care of efficiently. Robert provided recommendations for new toilets along with an accurate estimate for what needed to be done. A date for the work was set and all services were completed. I would recommend R.H. West Plumbing and Heating to anyone needing this type of service.

Robert was knowledgeable, thorough, efficient, personable, and professional. The week before he replaced my toilet he provided me with a 30 minute free estimate and as a result of his advice I went with a toilet that he recommended over one that I had initially been looking at. Aside from now having a great new toilet, the new install eliminated a basement leak problem that was occurring from the original toilet. Service that I especially appreciated: Robert picked up the new toilet from Lowes for me and disposed of the old toilet. I will definitely call R.H. West for future plumbing and heating problems or projects.

Robert and his helper were on time for the appointment. Very professional and personable. Completed the job in a timely manner. Easy to work with. They were installing a floor plan called floodsaver that they hadn't worked with before, sides of the metal pan are collapsible which allows for the washer to be moved without damaging the pan. They understood the directions, and installed it flawlessly. We are very pleased with the work and would highly recommend them and would call them again.

Robert was really the only person who came to our house and focused on what we needed, explained what was required and gave us a detailed, written estimate (which he did not exceed). Couple other plumbers seemed like they were looking for more work than we wanted to do at that time, while still others wouldn't hard quote the job. I can't even tell you how many people didn't return calls. We have some other projects we will definitely use RH West again.
