Hi Gail, please be sure to read the fine print from the deal you purchased. You have 3 months before expiration, so I think it's would be best for you to see if we can do some other things around the house if you, small things like fix a door that doesn't close properly, recaulk tub, replace outlets, light or switch, even paint a room. Our travel time would be 2 hours round trip plus a fuel charge. We would have to bill you an additional $15 for fuel and deduct 1 hour for what you purchased. another option would be to get a full refund. I'm sorry, I wish you lived closer to me so I could stop over and have a look and do all the measuring, etc. Here is the bottom line if you want this done, I would have to charge you an additional $175 or more if you need more work done.

It went extremely well. They arrived on time and immediately went to work on the roof. We had several other contractors in and Mr Fit it was the middle price but he was the only one to understood that this was a utility barn roof and I wanted only the minimum work done which he did do, on budget and time. We have not had any problems with the roof since Mr Fix it repaired it. We also had a broken seal on my toilet that caused water damage to part of my bathroom floor. Again they did the necessary work, did the work well, on time and in budget and we have not had any problems since. Mr. Fix it team of associates are very nice, courteous and professional. As a matter of fact we are having them do another project installing window shutters in our house this week. my widfe and I would recommend them to anyone because they do a quality job for a fair price.

Wow. More than just wow. Awesome! I have to say, I am extremely impressed with Mr Fix It. I recommend this gentleman highly. He and his worker are consumate professionals. Courteous and friendly, it was a joy to have these guys working in my home. They arrived promptly. Punctuality is important, they arrived right on time, ready to go. They had all the right tools for the job. The electrical fixture in the bathroom was installed quickly. He said he'd choose one which was suitable for my needs, it exceeded my expectations. The fixture is attractive, functional, and perfect for the bathroom. Now on to the kitchen. The pipes and fixtures were very, very old. Plumbing jobs are rarely smooth sailing, and this was no exception, however the unexpected challenges were no problem for Mr Fix It and his excellent worker. I live in a condo complex, and an issue arose wherin it was necessary to inform building maintainance of the plumbing work. Mr Fix It and Dana, the crewman, interacted with the building maintainance men in a cordial and professional manner. This made things a lot easier. They got those pipes out, replaced everything with a minimum of mess and did the job right. Excellent! The faucet is beautiful, nothing leaks. Those pipes will never give me trouble again. AND, they cleaned up after themselves. No rubbish left around, no water to sop up. The door hardware install went without a hitch. My entry door seals now, no draughts or anything else will be coming in under that door. As for pricing, Mr Fix It's prices are exellent. He gave me a quote the day before, and everything was on bid. Fair and honest pricing, realistic expectations. No hidden costs. He was willing to work with me within my budget, and I am truly thrilled with the work they did. No nonsense, Mr Fix It knows what needs to be done, and how to do it. Creative, effective solutions to tricky problems. Honest quotes. FAIR PRICES. EXCELLENT QUALITY WORK. PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND CLEAN. What more could somebody want out of a repair crew? I give Mr Fix It 7 stars and two thumbs up. He's definitely worth it. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time with One Nail Clem or Glue Gun Charley. Call Mr Fix It, and get the job done right!

Ren was very responsive to scheduling the work which was great. All work was completed to my request and quality was good. I think the prices for each were a bit on the high side but not overwhelmingly so. He was professional.

Lorenzo was easy to reach and very prompt. He was willing to come on Thursday night to disconnect our gas line. He then came back on Friday, the next day, when the new stove was delivered to reconnect the gas line. He was the only service that would come both days as the other services wanted to come only one day. He was also 50-100 dollars cheaper than the other service providers.It was an extremely good experience and I definitely plan on using Mr. fix it in the future.

Mr Fix It Has become a good friend and a great help to two oldies newly arrived in Springfield. He can do anything, repair chimney stacks, paint a room far faster than we could have done and not a drop of paint spilled. He has repaired plumbing, fixed electrical problems any thing we have needed done. He is the first person we call now, such a relief to have someone who is reliable ,neat good looker too! Mr. Fix-It is great! He is punctual, very professional and a pleasant person. He gave an estimate including cost of all labor and parts, ordered and picked up the parts we needed and installed everything right on the day he told me he would. He warned me if a job was going to take a bit longer (like replacing window panes that had to be deglazed). It was an odd variety of jobs and I was impressed with his ability to fix anything! I also like that he discusses all of the costs with you, giving you different options with different price ranges.

Lorenzo (Ren) and Dana did a great job installing 6 interior doors in my house. They did half the work one day and finished up a few days later. Ren has very good communication skills. For starters, he answers his phone! I had been trying to find someone to install the doors in my house for almost 2 months. A few contractors were not available until late November, and I played phone tag with another contractor for a full month. When I called Ren, he answered his phone and he gave me a rough estimate of how much the project would cost based on information I gave him. I decided to move forward with him because he seemed professional and he received lots of good reviews on Angie's list. Ren and Dana were punctual and went right to work. The doors needed a lot of fine-tuned trimming to accommodate for less-than-perfect frames. Ren and Dana did a great job of hanging the doors so that they looked good and opened and closed smoothly. I felt that the price for the project was fair based on the amount of work Ren and Dana did and the attention they gave to detail. As I mentioned, the door frames in my house are not exactly at perfect right angles. Ren and Dana were both polite and friendly, and they cleaned up as they worked! I would definitely call Ren to help with other projects in the future.

I found his prices to be over inflated and ridiculous. When I called around, other service providers, including a master electrician, mentioned they could install a microwave for $100 or less. If he didn't want to do the job, he should have just told me. I feel like this company was biased towards me and didn't treat me fairly. He was quick with estimates, but I found them to be totally unfair.

He arrived on the same day I had contacted him, purchased the lumber, and returned in about an hour to paint and apply the framing. He even did some extra work for me. All done quite satisfactorily. I have used him before for small jobs, and was happy to call him again. Everything that others have said about him, about promptness, courtesy, and professionalism holds true. I don't usually rate folks an A but he's worth it. And I've recommended him to others.

Considering the wide variety of things that I asked him to do it all went very well. It certainly made my life easier that he was willing and able to do pretty much anything I threw at him. He mostly did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. He was also friendly and cheerful which was an added bonus. He's pretty informal when it comes to documenting his estimates and bills, but that seemed to work out OK. I made notes for myself as we went along, and we didn't have any surprises or misunderstandings about the amounts owed. I was very happy with the quality of all the work he did. I rated his quality "good", because that is the level of quality that I was requesting. The work was being done to prepare the house for sale, I wasn't looking for "excellent". I appreciated it that he understood what I was looking for and responded accordingly.

I did not use him because we both had called someone and he had already hired him.

Lorenzo was timely, responsive, courteous and always professional. He sent a preliminary quote via email within hours of my request. That ended up being very close to the working estimate. Lorenzo's crew were very polite. The quality of the work was top notch, and the project actually came in slightly under budget. I was very satisfied with the service, and would definitely use him again.

Lorenzo is a great guy and runs his business the right way. He's very thoughtful and punctual and communicative. We had originally just hired them for the wallpaper removal but as we started talking, we added to the job. They do very high quality work--most importantly for me they're versatile, knowledgeable, and concerned with doing a good job. The crew is all friendly and considerate. We're bringing him back this week to do some smaller jobs around the house. Highly recommended for big and small jobs.

Mr Fix It (Dave From CT & his Crew) replaced the decking on my 300sf wrap around deck & replaced the stairs also. They removed all the old boards and stairs and replaced all the decking with the Pressure Treated lumber that I provided. They also reinforced the framing and added hurricane brackets for added stability. Communication, quality of work, neatness, punctuality and price were all great! They did a nice job!

The job went amazingly well. He arrived and promptly started working. He needed to make two trips because of inclement weather. He first came out and cleaned the deck, the next trip he finished applying two coats of the product. What a difference it made! It looks and feels like a new deck! I will call Mr. Fixit for any job I have around the house. Trustworthy, prompt, responsive and professional....what more can you ask for!

Very good. Responded in 30 minutes from call and was In and out in 30 minutes The man failed to show up or call. He had both my phone and my cell phone numbers

The experience went fine. He cleaned up the mess for me.

Everything went very well. I dealt with Lorenzo Gardner the entire time. He was on top of things and got everything done on time. He was easy to get a hold of and returned phone calls immediately. I thought getting all these repairs done in 2 1/2 weeks would be a major headache but it got done on time and everything went very smoothly. And the cost of the job was reasonable.

Lorenzo picked up all the materials then replaced a back porch deck, stairs, fencing and posts. He was prompt, courteous, and hard working. I'd recommend him to anyone in our area.

Ren returned my call promptly. He was a little late but very friendly. Did a thorough estimate for mostly smaller jobs and a door replacement. His price was several hundred dollars higher than another well-rated handyman on Angie's List, so we went with the other guy.

Project was started a few days after scheduling. Project was completed on time and within budget.

Mr Fix It Handyman was good. It was a little more expensive than I anticipated, but he was good. Other than that, he was excellent. He was very good. I was very happy with him. It took him awhile to come over. I would probably use him again in the future, but I would probably ask to get a quote first. I didn't do that. Always ask for quotes.

It went ok. We did a prepay amount of time, so it was a little awkward to schedule the service because we didn't want his time to be up in the middle of a project but also didn't want to not use all of the time. Schedule the last part was difficult as I'm sure his scheduling priority had to be newer paying jobs. He goes by "Mr. Fix It," it wasn't just his business name. He was very polite and communicative while working in the home.
