The work was done correctly and promptly, but quite expensive. On the plus side, he presented all the options and didn't really try to upsell. Just the facts.

One of the worst HVAC companies out there. 1) They moved to comission basis so their techs are trying to maximixe the amount you have to spend for each service. The more they do the more they get paid. 2) They are the most expensive service companies out there. 3) There techs are hit or miss. Some or good some are bad. 4) When they did a A/C service for us they missed changing the a/c air filter which caused a motor to burn out and a lot of smoke. Enough we had to call the fire department 5) They charged $931 to replace an electical valve that cost no more than $200 part and one hour to install. 6) Several times after they installed a new tankless system for us they had to come back to fix becouse they installed it wrong. It took weeks to get it running right. They have since charged about 4 thousandto keep it running over 6 years. 7) I have had them come out to service our working heater in the middle of winter to leave us with no heat for three days. We have been more than patient with them. Using them for some 5 years. Been hard to find someone good but we have finally done that and I am so happy we did. We have found a really good HVAC company that cost literally 1/2 what Rodenhieser costs for the exact same thing, without all the price gouging and unpersonal service. For instance to replace a ignitor costs $550 with Rodenhiser and $245 with a smaller local company. I am so glad that we can finally say goodbye to Rodenhieser. Do yourself a favor dont ever call them.

Rodenhiser arrived to look at my furnace which was not working properly. The technician determined it was the ignitor. He replaced it and charged $500 (done in 15 mins with a $74 part cost). Unfortunately, after he left, the furnace still did not work properly. They came back and determined it was the panel. I called the furnace manufacturer and was told the panel was covered under the warranty and I would just need to cover labor. Rodenhiser provided a quote for $2000 including parts and labor. When I explained the part was under warranty, they told me it was not under warranty and they would need to charge me for the part. I called the manufacturer again and they assured me it was under warranty. I called Rodenhiser back and then they told me their distributor could not get the part. Now I was suspicious. If they couldn't get the part, what where they planning to use to fix the furnace? I called another company - the charge $629 for the repair including the call for diagnostics - (they identified the same issue with the furnace). Don't use Rodenhiser - they will rip you off.

The technicians arrived as promised and the work done was excellent.

It's fixed is what matters now. They are qualified techs. I did ask for an itemized bill and still don't have I need it on paper this device won't print it for some reason unknown to me, Tom G

Work was overpriced and they were unable to find main breaker needed to get me back up and were planning to have one shipped from somewhere leaving me down for another day. I made a call myself and found it first try resulting in work done the same day but I sill got charged too much in my understanding.

Very well like always. I recommend them for important repairs or jobs. We've had so many rip off jobs and I never have to worry with their work. But be ready to pay up!!! I recommend purchasing your own parts prior to the repair vist save some money.

Missed appointment , poor communication, high cost. Ended up using someone else to finish project

the control of first and second floor did not work. One of the switch on the furnace failed very soon.

everything they did was excellent, their techs are highly trained, they work quickly and the end product for the install looks and works great. They have an annual maintenance contract that covers checkups in the spring for A/C, and the fall for the furnace. Never seen a more thorough report after each checkup. The office staff is very responsive and knowledgeable about all of their services, overall I would say they run a really great operation.

Super happy with the service provided by Rodenheiser for the maintenance of my mini splits. The service provider was knowledgeable, efficient and listen and answered all my questions and concerns.

Communication horrible across the board. Sales rep who gave a quote had lengthy delays in responding to clarifications. Before installations, he took a video of where things should be installed and routed. First day of install, wrong parts were purchased and they attempted to install before I made them check again. The installers also said they couldn't follow the plan the sales rep guaranteed they would be doing, and had to completely redesign the install. Project install took 3 days longer than I was initially told it would. Company failed the electrical inspection a month ago. I've contacted Rodenhiser twice to figure out when they're going to finish the work, and I've been told they'll look into it and get back to me, but never have.

These guys are good but overpriced. I was a huge fan until they prosed about $700/hr to replace 3 faucets. $700/hr???? Come on....

We needed our A/C unit replaced and unfortunately due to supply chain issues, it took a long-time to procure the replacement unit. Once available, Rodenheiser removed the old unit and replaced with a new unit. The Rodenheiser team was professional, prepared MA Save rebate paperwork, and left our property clean. I’d highly recommend Rodenheiser!

Im sure its great company but my overall experience with them has been horrible. Signed up for their “home sevices “ contract And they are quick to sell you that. Scheduling is a complete mess with hardly any follow-up. recently cancelled my contract . The final straw was: AC repair which was done well in advance of a heat wave ealrier this summer. During this intial repair was told neeeded to have ac pipe replaced. I paid the deposit immeidately. Was told 2 week truaround. Didnot hear back at all and no communication . Highly unprofessioanl. I Constantly followed up only to be told we are rpritizing other customer and are too busy . My family, including elderly father in law remained without cooling middle of a heatwave (we made alternate arrangements). I also called in for an emergency request (despite having paid a deposit 3+ weeks in advance and well before any heatwave). Was told will get a call back and never did. After repeated calls, he “customer service” gave me a date almost 10 days out. Reason: well its a big job and needs few hours (didnt they take the deposit based on the estimated work that n to be done and knew the nature of the job?) They finally fixed the issue after almost 1.5 months . Simply unacceptable and basically unprofessional behavior. I DO NOT recommend anyone using their service. My advice is to go with another reputable company that can provide and serve their customers when they need it most. In all fairness, their plumbers are really good but ac and heat repair technicians i would simply not engage with. At least this is my experience others may have a different perspective.

Inexperienced guy claimed he fixed my sump pump. Charged $190 for 5 minutes of work. Then did a sale pitch for other plumbing work for ~$2000. Four weeks later we got heavy rains, sump pump didn’t work. Basement flooded.
