Description of Work: I continue to be disappointed in companies who do not even bother to return phone calls. I have been attempting to have my windows cleaned for 2 years, having spent most of last summer awaiting responses to messages left. That has been the case with this company, they never called back. This leads me to assume that they are not professional in the service they provide. I would not call them again, nor would I refer anyone to this company.

Description of Work: Richard called me back within a day and gave me a timely estimate. Thought the estimate was a little low since we have casement windows with storms, so expected final price to be much higher and was ready to pay it. He did charge more but not what I thought he would. He did a great job over two saturdays for a decent size house with lots and lots of casements. I would and have recommended him ever since and will definitley use him again. Should also note that our windows had not been professionaly cleaned in quite a while and looked brand new from inside and out after it was complete.

+ -1 moreWent very well overall. When I spoke to Richard to set up the appointment, he asked me for the number and configuration of the windows in my home. When he arrived, he told me he had underestimated the size of the house, and would have to charge me a small amount more than he had quoted. I didn't mind, since it is a fairly large house. However I think he needs to be as accurate as he can when giving a quote, rather than underestimating the job and the time it will take him to do it. He came on two occasions to do the cleaning, was very thorough and did a great job.

+ -1 moreThis was my first time using Angie's list. When i contacted Richard he got back to me quickly. We had to change the first scheduled day for window cleaning due to rain and issues with his truck. He rescheduled on Saturday and arrived exactly at 8 am. In 5 1/2 hours he did all the windows in my mother's apartment and my downstairs. total 20 windows and doors. he worked quickly, neatly and wore covering over his shoes to prevent tracking in dirt from outside. I am thrilled with my clean windows and will definitely have him clean them again.. i thought the price was excellent..we have an old house with 6 over 6 panes and old storm windows that can be difficult to open. He cleaned all the sills and the screens too. i am happy!

+ -1 moreRichard had done work for me a year ago (at the same price) so when late spring came he called to see if I wanted the windows done again. I was having some other interior work done so I wanted to wait until that was finished and all the dust had settled. Because of the time off from work I'd taken having the other work done I couldn't really take any more off right then so Richard was willing to come on a Saturday. Though I wouldn't have been concerned about him being in the house had I not been home. The first scheduled day was raining so he rescheduled soon after, no problem. On the day of the work he arrived on time and started right to work and worked steadily until finished. He wiped up any drip marks thoroughly. Although it's common sense that he'd need to use the sink to get water to do his work he askedbefore he did and also asked before going into any room with a closed door. I have dogs that I'd confined but that didn't stop them barking. That bothered me but didn't seem to bother Richard! The windows were literally sparkling when he'd finished. You have to look twice at the windows without screens to realize there is a window there at all. I'll absolutely have him back next year.
Description of Work: Cleaned 22 double paned casement windows, inside and out (actually, more like 44 because the inside pane comes out so each window has 4 surfaces), plus 2 sliders, 1 french door, 4 3x4 fixed windows, the windows beside and above the front door, and the entire wall to wall and floor to ceiling glass wall of a room that has a cathedral ceiling. That room has a pellet stove with a blower so the wall of windows can be a bit dusty. Also cleaned the screens, and wiped the moulding around the windows.
