From the moment he showed up (in the rain) to look at the house to today when he stopped by to finish up after the electrician (who he was able to recommend), Reggie has been reliable, friendly, professional and a true pleasure to know. And, my house looks amazing. He clearly explained everything he would be doing and kept me posted on the progress and issues along the way. He and his crew worked through some of the hottest days, yet never let up the pace. They were neat and respectful of my property, and were mindful of my neighbor's yard as well. I felt very comfortable leaving my house in their hands while I was at work. I actually miss having Reggie around... Reggie is very confident in his abilities and he backs it up with the finished product. He listened to all of my concerns, requests and questions, and always responded in a thoughtful and reassuring way. I am a very exacting person and I am very satisfied with the results. I'll look forward to having him back for another project (front stairs) and I know if I ever need anything addressed on the work that's been done, Reggie will be there. If you are considering new siding (or windows, roofing, etc.) - you should absolutely consider St. Germain Construction.

St Germain Construction was amazing! Responded quickly when we requested an estimate, answered all questions knowledgeably, and work was scheduled at our convenience. Workers were professional and courteous. The new windows look spectacular and we couldn't be happier! Can't say enough nice things about Reggie and his brother. They treated my home ad kids with respect and simply did a great job!!

Excellent, my house looks beautiful- and better than I thought it could. I made all the calls to check his references before I hired him (at least 5 who who at least had siding) and each on got back to me promptly and said they thought he did an excellent job and were happy with the work. Two said they went with St. Germain because of great word-of-mouth. I went to look at 2 homes he did siding on recently and both looked homes looked fabulous. I called other siding companies but they were either not prompt in returning my call or giving me written estimates- plus they all used lower quality siding and did not have references. Reggie and Co. always communicated well, got back to right-away and finished my job ahead of schedule. They did an awesome job on my house with all the attention to details. They also dealt with bad weather, dogs- and had to park on another block due to repaving and were professional and friendly. They also worked fast and took less time to finish the job than they said. Too, they were upfront about the best fixes for an old house and had good advice to give (knowledgeable). My house has curb-appeal and is the best-looking one on the block. I have seen a few recent siding jobs in my neighborhood- and I could see the difference in the quality of the work and materials (my house was better all around). In a do-over, I would hire them again and in the future. Am so happy- my house it really looks great.

When I was looking for a contractor to side my mother's home, it was important to her and myself that we find someone with a lot of experience and a contractor who would do the work himself rather then send in a crew. After meeting with several contractors, we were immediately impressed with Reggie when he came to quote the job. He was very knowledgeable and thorough with his explanation of how he would wrap the windows and trim to give the house some character which was lacking. We were concerned about having the house sided during the winter, but he put our minds at ease, and it really did go smoothly. Reggie takes a lot of pride in his work and his prime objective was that we were happy with every detail. I am not an easy person to please because I have high standards, but Reggie exceeded them. He was also open to our input which made him and his cousin Roger, easy to work with. The house looks beautiful now and we couldn't be happier.

Reggie was great from start to finish! He really came through for us. Our house was not easy-- large and high and very visible from the street--but Reggie handled it with style. We could not be happier with his work ethic, attention to detail, knowledge and the quality of the job. I absolutely recommend Reggie--his workers were great too!

From the time of the estimate, explanation of materials, service execution and follow up, St.Germaine Construction Co. was outstanding. Before the job was scheduled to start I was suddenly admitted to the Hospital. I remained there during the entire project. Reggie and Ed St.Germaine stepped up and went out of their way to see that my wife suffered as little disruption as possible during the job. They had everything under control. Great job all around and their personal customer service/workmanship is outstanding!

Best decision we ever made going with St Germain Construction to re-side our house. We are so very happy with the work that Reggie and his guys have done. We called Reggie and he came right out to give us quote on the job. After other quotes we decided to go with Reggie. He gave a good explanation of all the work he would do and a good price. Reggie St. Germain came out the same day I called him to look at our house and gave us a very honest opinion on what needed to be done and how much it would cost. His quote was very fair and he even included some details that other contractors would have charged more for. He looked at it like it was his own house and was very thorough in his review of the current condition of the house and had some great ideas of what to do. We could tell immediately that he was confident and capable. The project started within a few weeks of our acceptance of the proposal and he was at our house everyday (even some weekends) until it was completed. He was THE hardest working contractor we have ever seen and we have had many contractors working on our house in the past 7 years. The project was finished on time and the house looks absolutely stunning. Reggie even took the time to fix our broken fence while he was working on the house just as a favor to us. He included unique details that really make our house stand out now. The quality of his work far surpassed our expectations. We would not hesitate for a second to hire him down the road for other projects. Reggie is a very honest, hard-working and overall good guy. I highly recommend him for your construction needs.

Reggie made himself available the same morning as the first phone call to inspect and estimate the job. He was willing to work around the plumber’s schedule to prevent leaving the wall exposed to the elements for any longer than necessary. Our siding appears to be at least 25 years old, making it brittle to work with. He’s passionate about what he does and was able to salvage most of the original siding. It now looks better than when he started.

When I decided to have my house vinyl sided, I turned to Angie's List to find a top-notch contractor that could do quality work at a fair price. Vinyl siding tends to have a bad reputation because so many times the job is done poorly. This is especially true for re-siding work over existing wood clapboards or shingles. My home is from 1895 and the exterior retains that old-fashioned attention to detail and charm that you can't find anymore: wide corner boards and frieze moldings. The clapboard, however, had deteriorated to the point where residing was the only reasonable alternative. I wanted to find someone that could bring the house back to life without losing its original charm. I met with four different contractors - all top rated on Angie's List.. Two were owner-operators that were onsite overseeing the project and doing the work themselves. One was a small contractor that ran a couple different crews, and one was a medium size firm that had 4-5 different crews and projects going at the same time. Generally I found that the larger the firm, the more higher the quote. I found this ironic because my preference was to work with an owner-operator that would take personal responsibility for the finished project. Too many times I have hired companies and ended up working with job supervisors that I did not meet during the bidding process and sometimes had problems communicating with. I feel that is always a crap shoot on whether you'll get the "A" crew or the "B" crew. St. Germain Construction was one of the owner-operators I had bid on the project. Reggie immediately struck me with his larger-than-life personality. He came out to the house and looked at the project. And then he had me follow him around town to look at several houses he had done over the years. He advised that when it comes to residing projects I should pay attention to the details - especially to the way that windows and doors are "wrapped" with aluminum. (A poor siding job ends up with windows that appear sunken-in with little to no architectural detail around them.) The homes that he had siding all still looked good even several years after the job. He didn't hesitate to tell me that he was "the best in the business" and at first I chalked it up to self-promotion. It wasn't until I looked at the other contractors projects that I was really able to appreciate Reggie's attention to detail and see that he was telling it like it is. (For example: Reggie miters the aluminum trim and J-channel around the windows, making them look really sharp. He also uses white J-channel around the windows which is a trick I didn't see any contractor using and one that I thought made all the difference in the world. Every contractor said they could do that but when I looked at the houses they sided, they didn't do it that way. Excellence in craftsmanship shouldn't be something you CAN do when asked - it should be something you just DO, day in and day out as a matter of habit). So I hired St. Germain Construction, and we are now in the second week of the project. Even though the house is not finished, it is looking fabulous! Reggie and his cousin Roger have been great to work with. His communication before and during the job has been second to none, and he has been receptive to requests that I've made along the way. He has an appreciation for architectural detail and takes enormous pride in the work he does. I would recommend him without hesitation and will post an update with pictures once the project is done.

We plan to look at some of his work, get other estimates, and then we will give him a call.

Reggie re-sided our house two years ago. We recently decided to replace a decorative window. We explained to Reggie the type of window we wanted. Because the window had to be custom made, he came back a few days later with three window drawings which all had small differences. He wanted to make sure he got the exact right window that we wanted. We approved one of the drawings which he then used to order the window. When it was ready he dropped it off to make sure it was correct. It was. He scheduled an installation date, arrived promptly, installed the window, cleaned up and removed any debris. He did a superb job. We're delighted. We would absolutely recommend Reggie.

Reggie was great! he was highly responsive to our inquiry, stopping by the property early during a weekend to provide an assessment. The recommendation (and ultimately the resolution) he provided was exactly what we were looking for. He used spare siding to repair the damaged pieces and also corrected some poor installation issues from the original installer. Lastly, he offered some post installation cleaning advice we plan to follow-up on in the fall. We're extremely satisfied with the result and plan to use Reggie for future projects.

Reggie and his team did a good job. He is professional, honor the schedule and quality. I like his way of working. Initially he said we may have to wait for 6-8 weeks. When we told, that would be too late, then he mentioned sometimes over the weekend he can come and finish of the work. Of course, he came long before 6-8 weeks schedule and complete the whole house work within couple of days. He is highly recommended!

Reggie returned my initial call promptly and arrived on time to provide the estimate. He assured me to not worry about the details and that he would take care of them. I must say that Reggie exceeded my expectations and the final outcome looked great. Reggie and his nephew arrived on time everyday and worked meticulously. They have a great work ethic and the effort they put in the details were beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Reggie and will gladly use his services again in the future.

Reggie St. Germain responded promptly to my first call. He arrived two days later, 10 minutes early, to meet with us. He promised an estimate in two days, which arrived as promised. He started work on the day he said he would. He worked every day until the job was completed. He installed all siding personally. He took his time and did a meticulous job. The finished result looks fabulous. We could not be more pleased. In addition, he communicated and coordinated with our electrician who was replacing our electrical service, and our mason who rebuilt our front steps.One of Reggie's best qualities is his communication skills. Every day he'd tell us what he planned to do. If he got detained and would be arriving late, he'd call. He always kept us informed about anything relate to our job. I absolutely would recommend Reggie to anyone interested in siding or residing their home.

This job turned out fantastic!! It was done much faster than I expected (even with snow and rain). Reggie is professional, curteous, and has the best work ethic to get the job done!! THE BEST!!!!

When I called, Reggie came out immediately to look at my property and quote the job. I was having windows replaced, roof replaced and vinyl siding put on the home. He was very good in explaining the entire process to me and the differences in the different types of siding. He and his crew were here every day at 7AM and worked the entire day, including weekends! It was so nice to have a contractor who actually did the work himself but also who showed up everyday. While replacing the roof, they actually found that the cap on the stink pipe was not removed by the contractor that put my addition on and they took care of that for me. My property was swept at the end of every day and all debris was in the dumpster. Reggie has been in the business for 26 years and you can tell that he takes pride in his work by the quality of his workmanship. I would highly recommend St. Germain Construction. This was by far the best experience I have ever had with a contractor.

When I had called Reggie for an estimate he came right away. He was very accurate with his estimate and he gave me a reasonable price within a few days after taking all of the measurements. Once the contract was signed, he was able to start work the following week. He was there for work everyday including weekends. The siding went up very quickly. At the beginning of the project, the 26 windows had to be ordered and once they were delivered, Reggie was able to get most of the windows installed within 1 day, leaving only a few more to be completed the following day. Everything moved right along without any delays. He was also helpful with recommendations. The yard was cleaned up at the end of each day. Overall, I think Reggie did a great job and I'm glad I hired him to do my house. I would definitely recommend him to others and I would hire him again if I ever have to.

This is the BEST contractor. They were here everyday at 7AM and put in a full days work, he even worked on the weekends! St. Germain went above and beyond any other contractor I have ever worked with. At the end of every day my property was cleared of all debris and the driveway was swept. He definately treated my home as it if were his own. If someone is looking for siding, windows or a new roof, I highly recommend St. Germain Construction!
