I scheduled an appointment for 4pm and was 15 minutes early. The service advisor told me that the technicians leave at 5pm and wouldn't have time to evaluate the noise coming from my car. (The last time I was there I had them check out the noise and they told me it was the brakes and it would dissipate; I didn't believe this and the noise never went away.) I become very upset because I live very far away and it would not be convenient for me to return. Also, it was clear in my appointment request that I needed the noise checked out and if this was not going to be possible for a 4pm appointment then they should have told me. I asked for the service manager Steve Whalen who very quickly and kindly referred me to his technician Kenny. Kenny got in the car with me and listened to the noise and then did some exploration in the car. He found me in the waiting room to tell me that the noise was from the motor in the rear differential. They had the part in stock and he asked if I would be willing to wait to have the work done. I confirmed that the work would be under warranty. I also suggested that he look into who told me that the noise was coming from the brakes and to tell that person that he found the real problem. I didn't think my car would be ready until 7:00 but it was ready at 6:30. The advisor Steve Pepin told me that the tires were not rotated because they didn't need to be. This was surprising to me, but Steve Whalen confirmed it in a later email. All I ended up paying for was the oil change. I was very happy with how the situation was handled after initially being upset. Although the dealership is out of my way and I could easily go to a Honda in my own town, I travel there because I bought my car there and want to be loyal to them. This experience ended up being a positive one and I will go back.

The experience was excellent; that's why I bought from them. I plan to have my service work done there too. They give me a lot of information including all the ins and out of the car so that I know as much as I can before I drove it off the lot. They were flexible and got me the model color that was my first choice. All in all it was an easy negotiation and I did not feel like I was talking to a used car salesman. They were respectful of me as a woman trying to buy a car on my own. I have been to other places where I felt like I was being given a line.

We worked with Keith Dogherty to purchase a 2012 pre-owned Honda Civic at Honda Cars of Boston. We had a great experience. We did not feel pressured at all to make a purchase, and felt well taken care of throughout the process. Everything was explained to us at every turn, and we feel that we got an excellent deal. They made the very scary car purchase process easy and accessible to us, and we are thrilled with our new (to us) car. Thanks Keith!!

I bought my car from Honda Cars of Boston. The last thing they did for me was to work on my brakes. I think that they do good service but they tend to be more expensive since they are a dealership and not a garage. They were punctual and responsive. I will probably go somewhere else in the future because of price.

They had a lot of work done. They are rehabilitative efforts reliable. They are reputable. They are relay nice people to work with when you go in there. They are a great dealership. Honda has gone away, so we would be dealing with them anymore but they are really good guys. They really feel like they are people that you could trust to take your car to.

This particular visit was just an inspection and I had them check out my AC. So this particular visit was not involved. But they have worked on our older Hondas and done more extensive work, again always excellent service and a very professional staff.

We have used Honda Cars of Boston for service for several years. The service department is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The service is done correctly and the service people are easy to work with. I would recommend this service department without reservation and would not take my Honda (we own two Honda cars) to any other service department.
I actually decided to replace my old Honda Odyssey with a new CR-V because I could not imagine bringing my car to any other service department - they are the best in all aspects of service!

It was delivered with broken headlights at night. The salesman said I was lying. I have since gone there only for emergency service. I feel they are a provider of last resort. I do occasionally go for oil changes if I am desperate. The service department is far better than the sales, but the parts department does not go out of their way for the customer. It's a shame because it used to be a wonderful dealership.
