Very well. Timely estimate, good communication (better response to phone than email), on-time arrival, hard-working and knowledgeable crew, no mess left behind, price exactly as quoted. Jack is very personable, seems honest, pleasure to work with.

I heard nothing for a week and a half or so after I contacted them through angie's list, but I had similar experiences with other contractors, I assume because they were all flat out at this particular time. Then, out of the blue I received a call and a quoted price over the phone (I had given my address in my first message and said they could look the place over and call me with a quote without me there as I was busy). The quote was $300 less than the next best quote I had, and they offered to do the work the next day. I agreed and asked how I was to pay. They offered to invoice me even though they have never met me. The job was great; they even went on my porch and into my patio and removed the leaves that had blown there, though we did not discuss this and it was not something I expected them to even notice. I received the invoice several days later. I have never seen or met anyone from the company, but they did a really good job. Maybe they are elves? Despite my grades below "A" on some of the subcategories, at the end of the day it is how good a job they did that matters to me, and so I think they deserve an overall "A" because I can't find any fault with the work.

They were helpful. I had some branches leftover from what I was doing and they picked them up; they went above and beyond. They were supposed to weed but they didn’t do a good job on it, but everything else was good. They seeded the lawn and they seeded it late. Their responsiveness in the beginning was very good but later it wasn’t so good.

Very quick and responsive. Pricing fair. Showed up on time with a small army and got work done promptly and left the place spotless. Called back on one item and it was resolved within 6 hours. Very pleasant business owner.

A professional job from start to finish. John Sweeney showed up on time for our appointment, understood exactly what I was looking for, and gave me a verbal estimate on the spot. His team came as soon as possible, the whole job was done in a few hours at a very reasonable rate, and the yard was left looking neat and clean.

Owner met me to review work. Crew of 3 arrived when scheduled and did a fine job. Probably not the cheapest but professional and nicely done.

John is very knowledgeable and gets the most out of his crew. He came out to look at the job and was able to schedule it in the next morning, which was impressive. I typically do my own yard work, but we had just bought the house and I had my hands full with interior work (scraping wallpaper, painting). Lawncare also sends out periodic newsletters with tips on lawncare, etc. This just goes to show that they go the extra mile on top of doing good quality work.

Excellent. The owner came by to walk through my property in the rain. We discussed different options and settled upon a plan of action. Crew arrive THE NEXT MORNING at exactly the time scheduled. Each worker was given his/her assignment for their job on our property. There were about 10 workers who came in, did their work exactly as their manager assigned, cleaned up and departed in about 2 hours time. Every worker I spoke with was friendly and attentive and enjoying their job. They were a great team and worked hard together to create a polished landscape I am proud to show off. My home is for sale and I wanted the landscaping to be in top condition. It is, now that this team of workers has been here.

The owner is Jack and he is very responsive. The crew was on time and knowledgeable. The crew did a wonderful job and I have asked them do my regular mowing from now on. They do fantastic work on my yard.

They were terrific! Their prices are fair. The owner is very clear; he shows up when he says he will and does what he says he will. He is very accommodating, and very nice to work with.

Jack responded very promptly to our call and soon came by to review the projects we had in mind. He took time to understand what we had and mind and let us ask many questions. We received the written estimate within a few days and price was a bit better than other estimates we received. Perhaps more importantly, we felt like Jack got what we were trying to accomplish and that we'd be comfortable working with him. Jack was also very responsive to our follow-up inquiries by email, as well as phone. Work was performed over a few days in June 2008 and we've been very happy with the results.

He was great to work with, his crew was very professional and quick. What was amazing is that he actually sent out a handwritten holiday card and then a newsletter to all of his customers. He is very knowledgeable about organic landscaping and gardening. Priced exactly as agreed upon.
