This work was done on a friends house. she was very satisfied with him. Will use again and will refer.

Jeff was on time for the quote appointment and made suggestions on how to best do the job. He even advised against doing some things I wanted because they weren't needed. The threshold he did in oak and it is beautifully fitted. The doors he worked on now are weather stripped but both also work like new because he did his magic on them. Really nice guy who takes pride in his work. We will use him again!

Jeff's quote was very reasonable versus the other two we received, so we decided to have him do the work based on that and the favorable reviews he had received on Angie's List. Since it was around the holidays when we initially contaced him, he said it would be about a month before he could start. We were okay with that. Jeff started the job when he said he would, and communicated regularly prior to the start date. Jeff performed the work in a meticulous manner and is obviously a person who takes pride in his work. He carefully prepared the work area with dropcloths, etc. and tidyed up after he was through for the day. We are more than pleased with the final outcome and believe we got great value for the work that he did. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jeff for any carpentry job that requires the skills of a real craftsman.

We supplied the new hinges and latch. He built the door and made a little piece over the door for weather protection. He was very good to work with his finishing touches and communication. He set up in the driveway with an elec. cord down to the shed and worked from there. We would recommend him anytime.

Work was fantastic. The crawlspace door was exactly what we were looking for. Fits perfectly and looks great.

I had carpenter bees that had been nesting in the roof of my dormers for some time. I didn't notice them until last year which is when I found out what they were. This spring I noticed quite a few large holes on the side of one dormer. I called Jeff and he was very prompt and came to the house that weekend to give me an estimate. He told me that I did have carpenter bees but the large holes were from woodpeckers who dig into the wood to get the bee larvae. Jeff gave me an estimate which I felt was fair and we set up a time for him to do the work. He repaired and painted the three dormers and everything looked fantastic. I was very pleased with his work.

Jeff saved us many thousands of dollars by his excellent advice on what to do and not do! Jeff is very professional, easy going, hard working, honest, and an amazing craftsman. Each part of this experience was made easy by his wisdom and professionlism.

The main staircase was a mess. They did snap, crackle and POP when walked on, the finish work was horrible. I asked Jeff what the options were, he priced 2 options: 1) rebuild the staircase ~ $7500 2) reapply glue to the bottom of the stairs and do some cleanup of the finish work ~ $2600. I went with option #2. Jeff pulled the ceiling under the stairs and apply more glue, re-made the ceiling, and did a bunch of work to cleanup the finish. I am thrilled with the results. The back deck needed some structural help and new smoother cap around the top of the rails, again I am thrilled with the results. One knock is that I also had him price out putting on an attic stair/ladder cap, he told me the kits were not in stock and that he would get back to me when they were available. He did get back to me but our schedules did not mesh and then he never contacted me again (one day soon I will call him to schedule that)

Jeff was quick to respond to a quote request, fully explained the repair work needed, provided a quote when promised, did the job on the day scheduled, and kept to the quote amount. Jeff had good communication throughout the process. Well done repair, and even cleaned up the work space thoroughly when done.

Jeff helped me fix quite a few things in my condo. They were odd jobs - installing new locks, fixing light fixtures, installing rods, securing vinyl and wood base to the wall, fixing flush system etc. I liked his style of working. He came a week before the job, looked at all the things I had to get done, gave me an estimate in the middle of the week and completed the job on the scheduled day. He was on time and very professional in his work. He worked independently after understanding my requirements and cleaned up any mess such jobs create. I cannot comment much on the price since I did not get estimates from anyone else. I just went with what he quoted me. I will definitely recommend Jeff to others. Although Jeff did odd jobs for me, he specializes in renovations and I will definitely consider using his services in the future.

Jeff's work is always precise and all of the repairs or new construction have worked perfectly. Not only have we been pleased with Jeff's work, we have also recommended him to family and friends.

He was very good. He did shelves and doors and it came out very nice. He does a lot of this sort of work and he is very meticulous and precise. His craftsmanship is very nice.
