It went great! They were able to start a bit ahead of the planned time which worked out perfect. The project mgr and the installation crew were very responsive to our needs. Great quality. We are very pleased with the finished project.

The work went pretty quickly, the workers were very professional and did a great job. We are very pleased with the finished room, and received many compliments! Only comment is cost of the project is higher due to the kit build. Still, its quick, neat, and beautiful.

My basement renovation required unique talent, which the LUX team provided in every stage. My home is a condo townhouse, so the area to be finished is much smaller than shown on the website photos. In addition, the area contains a bathroom that was installed by previous owner and, to pass town building codes, plans had to be adjusted for low ceiling beams and other regulations. The plans prepared by John Flynn passed the town's permit application easily. Adjustments for the beams, as well as for incorporating the bathroom and furnace and laundry sections used the space as efficiently as possible. David (project manager) and John explained details of the materials, answered my inquiries, and estimated time of start and completion before I committed. The project started on time and was completed before estimate. Mario and fellow worker went above and beyond in every way, including designing a space under the stairs that can be used for more than storage. They inquired about changes or decisions as they came up. One example of their diligence had to do with my condo setting that does not accommodate a dumpster. Every day, they manually removed huge piles of wood and demolition debris so as not to cause me problems with the management. They coped efficiently without complaint in constricted space. At every level, the LUX personnel performed their tasks excellently, and the result is a room that is beyond my expectations.

As a disabled veteran I received a grant from the V.A. I got in touch with Paul Fugeure *spelling* with Owens Corning. He took photos of my basement and came up with a master suite/ bathroom, laundry room, as well as rehab room that would be built into my basement and garage. We hit quite a few snags with the VA on getting all the necessary paperwork processed but O.C. stuck with me for 2 years while the VA put us through hoops. They started construction on time once everything was put through. Their project manager Pete Monaghan, and his team were very professional and got down to business. Any slight changes to the project that had to be made were thoroughly dealt with and communicated to me as they occurred. The only holdup we had was awaiting a sink and shower that had to be custom made to order, this was not something any of us had known about a they had ever dealt with handicap rated bathroom equipment. Once everything was delivered the project was promptly finished, a few weeks past the projected timeline but still done expertly and professionally.

The entire experience was great from beginning to end. The salesman from Lux did a wonderful job and came to our house twice to ensure that we agreed to exactly what we wanted. The start date was moved up, one of the few times I can remember a job being started and completed early. The team who performed the work and the foreman did an amazing job, were always polite and clean and even cleaned up every night. Overall, the basement came out exactly the way that we had hoped and we are immensely happy with the additional space that we have.

Lux Renovations/Owens Corning created an absolutely beautiful space for my family. They finished our basement this summer and we could’nt be happier! They were professional, respectful, efficient, used all the latest and greatest products and stand behind their work. They exceeded our expectations and we only wish we had found them sooner! From the very beginning when we had Robin come to our home for a quote to the final inspection and everything in between, went so smoothly. With a big decision like this, you want to be confident that you are making the right one, using the right company, and that the money you invest in the project is worth it. I can assure you, it is well worth it and they are the right company for the job! Robin went above and beyond with her knowledge and the time she spent with us. I had a situation where I was concerned we had chosen the wrong carpet color and Robin went out of her way to bring me the samples and reassure me that it was all good! She was a pleasure to work with, very personable, caring and knew the products and process inside and out! The crew we had was incredibly hard working and efficient and kept the work area clean at the end of everyday. They were respectful of our family and home (including not using the upstairs bathroom so they would not accidentally let our cats out) and the work they do speaks for itself. We have an amazing basement that my family and I will enjoy for many years! We have peace of mind knowing that the integrity of the products will add to the longevity of our basement. This space has become a favorite for my husband, our kids and even our cats! It went very well. Everything was neat and clean when they finished the basement. The basement now looks beautiful, comfortable and relaxing.

A few glitches along the way, but end (appearance) result okay. I had this room done several years ago, am reviewing now because despite running a strong dehumidifier 24/7 the room smells musty, like a room in a basement. My basement is very dry, never had a water, humidity or odor problem. Disappointed because the reason I went with Owens Corning was to avoid this. It is not the flooring, I had that removed.

The project went very well. The finished work looks great, the cost came in right at the quote, and the construction on over 1000 sqr feet with a bathroom took just three weeks.

This was easy from start to finish. The salesman was honest and didn’t pressure us. The materials they use were well explained and all made sense for what you would want for a basement remodel which is unlike a regular room. The installers were professional. They worked tirelessly on our basement in the middle of a Maine winter, blizzards and all and did so without as much as a complaint. I can’t say enough about the installers, they truly are craftsmen. The basement is better than what I was picturing and we are so grateful we found Lux. All in all, a great company to work with and money well spent. Every penny is worth the quality and peace of mind we have with our basement.

The work done was timely and efficient. Very good attention to details. The employees were kind and left the work site tidy everyday.

Very smooth process. All aspects of the job were explianed in advance and th ejob followed the plan. The few hiccups that took place with inspections and piping were all handled with consultation and no extra cost! Very clean and respecful workers. A quality product all around.

The quality of the product and the finishing was excellent. We stayed at the house for another 2 years before selling the place and it definitely helped with the value of the property. The scheduling was easy and hassle-free. Make sure your design is accurate right from the get go as changes are not feasible later.
