We wanted this job done well and efficiently, once they started, we did receive that. Although it was 2 months between when we signed the contract and they started. After that, it was only a few weeks and they were done. There is a hard sell in this program and I was surprised that the manager showed up on the day they finished to collect final payment, I asked if we could wait until a week or so to see if there were any issues. He did not concur and we paid him. Since then, the heat system has not been adrquate and has been expensive to run. They initially insisted on heaters on all three exterior walls, but ended up only doing two of them and they did not insulate the walls or floors on the 2 closets, so there is a draft. We would not use them again, but did get satisfactory finished basement, just a bit pricey, we will see how they support us in the long run, which they promise and is why we went with them. So far, most of my questions for support have been directed to their website for answers.

My wife and I hired them because of there reputation. My basement was empty with no thrills. Now after the completion a month ahead of schedule. The basement came out awesome,and being a guitar player the acoustics is great. Alex came in and completed the project in 2 weeks. Then the carpet people installed the carpet. I recommend them to others the job perfect from start to finish. Thanks Lux Renovations

Great way to refinish your basement.

Our Owens Corning/Lux basement renovation was done quickly and efficiently. The job site was left clean and picked up every day of construction. Our room turned out beautifully and we have the peace of mind that the wall system will keep mold and mildew from forming in our basement. The people we dealt with all during the process were professional, respectful and gave us a great amount of confidence that our project would meet our expectations. I would definitely recommend this company for your project.

The work was done very well but it was pricey.

They did great with my basement. Had a problem with the thermostat and they will not return my calls. I will have to hire another contractor to fix their work.

Excellent job on our basement renovation.

Overall we are very pleased with the quality of the finished product and timeliness of our basement renovation with Owens Corning/Lux Renovations. The workers and contractors (plumbing, electrical) were professional and performed quality work. Would have been a 5 star, but the sales tactics were rather aggressive and could have been less stressful. Also, the communication between different parties working on the project could have been improved.

Lux Renovations did a fantastic job remodeling our basement. They worked hard and were always professional. The wall panel system from Owens Corning is high-quality and smart. The carpet looks great. Lux Renovations were very responsive to our questions, comments and requests. Our main contact even came in one extra day and fixed our minor complaints all by himself. When we planned the remodeling, the sales representative persuaded us to downsize our first plans quite significantly, which shows a serious and professional commitment to customer satisfaction. All representatives and contractors always had protective masks on, which is ensuring in these challenging times.

I could possibly have done this project for less but NOT with limited effort, reduced stress and high quality work. Customer service was excellent and work quality was also very good.

We hired Lux to do an Owens Corning makeover of our 60s basement. We ripped out the 60s paneling, tore down the wall to a garage bay and created an additional living space out of the garage. They weren't the cheapest but they were very reliable and dependable. They worked with us and listened to our requests and change orders. At first we asked them to postpone the project a couple of months and they altered their schedule to accommodate. When asked to do some minor changes it was no problem. They worked hard to find the siding that would most closely match our house. The workmen showed up early each day and worked hard every day until completion.

Everyone who worked on the house was very courteous and respectful. Hard workers who showed up on time and got the work done efficiently.

Working with Lux Renovations was a great experience. They were professional, clean, communicated regularly and clearly, and did excellent work. Additionally, our basement looks AMAZING. We are very pleased with the high quality of both materials and service.
