We're very pleased with our finished basement and the extra space in our house. The work was done efficiently and all of our concerns were quickly taken care of. I would use Lux again for our next project.

They did everything they said they would do without nickel and diming. Everyone from the installers to the job manager and office staff were well experienced and professional. They worked with and were very responsive around our basement waterproofing system and always followed up.

We have wanted to finish our basement for a while, and with Covid & spending more time at home we knew it was time to pull the trigger. We have talked about finishing our basement for years and finally took the big step. Once we learned about the advantages of theOwens Corning Basement Finishing System we knew we had found the right company. Once the project started Lux Rennovations were fantastic. They were hard working, courteous, and accommodating. We were amazed at how fast they were able to complete the job. Instead of the dark and uninviting basement we avoided for years, we spend most of our relax time in the basement watching TV, playing pool, and exercising. The family can all be together at the same time in this new area. We are super happy and would highly recommend this company!

We had a large unfinished basement that we wanted to remodel into a TV/living room and an area for a pool table. We had 3 companies come look at our project. One was a company we used at our previous house and loved. The other was the company that built our house we are in. We chose to have our basement refinished with Lux Renovations / Owens Corning Basement Finishing Systems. We liked their proposed floor plan better. They suggested a floor plan we hadn't even considered before but it really worked with the space we had. We feel very safe with the installation of their walls. We don't have to be concerned or fear getting mold along the basement walls now. Their custom walling is also so easy to hand pictures on - and take off and then move around without hammer nails into the wall. And it really does block much of the sound out. Which is a great thing when we have some very active kids who can get loud while playing!

I live on Cape Cod. Finding contractors who are capable of doing any kind of specialized work is difficult. We decided after a couple of visits to go with LUX and the Owens Corning installation. WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! Ok, they are not the cheapest, but I have to be honest, the price we were quoted was only a little bit more than what we had been quoted by a local contractor, but the materials they used were much better, the quality was exceptional, and the changes/modifications were easy. Plus, they absolutely stuck to their quote: no surprises, no hitches. BEST OF ALL they arrived when they promised and the work was done quickly and efficiently. We only did half of our basement. When we decide to do the other half we absolutely will call LUX again. Top quality, great customer service, and I think we ended up saving money in the long run. VERY HAPPY!

Our crew was great. Eder led the team and was very professional and the team worked great to keep the job moving along quickly. The electricians were also great and responsive.

We had Lux Renovations come in to install an Owens Corning basement. What a fabulous product. The project started on time and was completed in about 2 weeks and has increased our usable space incredibly. This was done in the height of COVID and the installers were great, observing all applicable protocols. I love walking down the stairs now into my wonderful den.

They worked well throughout the project. Any issues that came up were dealt with professionally and in a very customer satisfaction way.

We are thrilled with the renovation of our basement. Dan, the project manager, organized and oversaw the subcontractors so that no time was lost during the renovation. We were amazed that a project of this size was completed in 4 weeks given that they had to demolish an existing basement from the 1970s. Mario, the main carpenter, was pleasant, a talented and hard worker ,and could picture and execute solutions to complicated design issues posed by the existing systems of our house. We love the outcome which is peaceful and harmonious. The quality of all the materials used was excellent and ideal for a basement. We would highly recommend Lux Renovations.

We love our new basement! It adds so much to our home and gives my children and grandchildren a place of their own when they visit. Every need and inquiry of ours was handled well by their team. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We had the pleasure of working with Lux Renovations/Owens Corning to complete our basement project and we couldn’t be happier. It allows our family the much-needed additional living space we learned we needed during the COVID 19 Pandemic. Going into the project we had some scheduling snags, but it was quickly redeemed when the crew showed up promptly to work on Monday Both Tim and Lucas were extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, professional and punctual. With such a large project we anticipated some setbacks but any that occurred were all beyond any one’s control. We happen to have two projects that unintentionally overlapped, despite that happening everything was smooth for the most part. As part of the process a Porta- Potty is delivered and supposed to be emptied on a schedule which didn’t routinely occur. At the end of the project the plumbers had to return for a minor mishap, but even that was painless. Again I have to speak highly of Tim and Lucas they kept us informed of the timeline as to what to expect next. At the end of each day they left the working space clean and organized for the next day. In the end we are left with a beautiful finished space that our family will enjoy for days to come. Thank you again, Rodney and Sharmaine

Some of the designs that were offered when designing the basement were not actually available and I was not told until they were already doing the install. The breaker for the basement lights and plugs seems overloaded because it will trip when I have the treadmill plugged in. There were a couple of places where the paint did not appear to dry correctly and had to be redone and still has an uneven surface. They got it done quickly but you could definitely tell it was rushed.

Kathy was very helpful in our discussion. Very transparent with how they approach business and deal with (potential) clients even if they determine the project is not a good match for the services they provide.
