Tom did a great job. He returned our initial phone call promptly and was also on time on the day he was to do the job. Tom was friendly and answered all questions. He explained the process in detail. We are very satisfied with the final results. He was very thorough and provided instructions on what to do after he left. He also gave a short list of do's and don'ts when maintaining a refinished bathtub. We definitely recommend Tom and will use him again when or if the need arises.

After a bad experience with another place, I joined Angie's List. I read good reviews for Mobile Refinishing so gave them a shot. Tom, at Mobile Refinishing, lived up to the hype. We called, set a date for about 10 days out, but because of other things going on, we asked him that if he had any cancellations to please let us know. Turned out he got a cancellation and so we arranged for him to come in about 4 days earlier than first planned. He was great. Arrived on time. Was affable, pleasant, friendly. The job took almost exactly the length of time he said it would and it looks beautiful. I highly recommend him. He knew his stuff, did great work and was a nice guy. Very professional. And the price was really good. Excellent overall experience. I highly recommend him.

Tom was responsive and gave me a quote over the phone after I described the job.Tom returned 2 days after refinishing the tub and installed reinstalled tub hardware and did some additional caulking around window above the tub.Excellent experience for me.Tom is great to work with.

Tom was very prompt and thorough with his work. He explained how to care for the tub afterward.

Tom from Mobile certainly knows his craft and is very amicable. He was prompt to return several calls leading up to the day the work was schedule. He was accomodating when we needed to change the color we wanted to go with and also answering questions we had about reglazing in general (care and maintenance after the work was complete). We were renovating the entire bathroom, so I had to make sure Tom's work was coordinated around the plumber's and flooring contractor's. He was able to adjust his schedule to ours as the job progressed and dates had to be changed. The final product is terrific. There is a smell for about 3 days after, which is typical. You should also know that Tom doesn't chaulk the tub or its fixtures. That's something you will have to do, but it's very easy. We have a 1st floor bathroom that we didn't know was reglazed (we just bought the house), but it looks like it was reglazed because the mat pulled up some of the paint unfortunately. It's not bad enough to redo just yet, but when we're ready I'll definitely be calling Mobile to come out and reglaze it.

From the time I called Mobile Refinishing and spoke with Tom things went very well. He responded to the message I left that same day and spent quite a bit of time answering my questions and educating me on the process. Tom showed up at the date and time we booked. I wasn't home, but my husband was there and was very impressed with the time and care that Tom took in preparing our bathroom for the process. When he was done he spent as much time as needed explaining the care and maintenance of the newly refinished tub. We are very happy with the experience and the result.

It couldn't have gone any better! He did an amazing job, he masked all around the brand new tile so that nothing would stained. The tub looks brand new! It is clean and white and looks like I installed a replacement tub. I would recommend Tom to anyone!

It went very well. He returned my phonecall within a few hours and set up the appointment within the same week. He called the night before to confirm and let me know what to expect. He was punctual, did a good job, cleaned up well after himself and left me with instructions on how to care for the refinished tub.

I was impressed. I called Tom to talk about getting my pre WWII cast iron tub refinished (it looked like it may have been through a war.) Left a message on his VM regarding what I needed done. He called right back, talked about the process and we arranged a date for him to come. He called the morning of the appointment to confirm and was right on time. He did exactly what he said he do at the price he indicated and transformed my old decrepit looking tub into a like-new one that appears as if it must have when FDR was prez. The person that I worked with is the owner and the operator of the company. He was on time, very clear and very personable. He protected the area around the bathtub and he did a fantastic job. I would grade him high across the board.

They did an excellent job overall. They showed up early on the date scheduled and were done by the end of day. There were a few holes in the fiberglass that they patched and left over silicone residue that they removed. They also removed all the hardware and masked all the edges. they did a great job, no one can tell it was ever blue, it looks brand new! I got several quotes and not only were they the fastest, but also the cheapest!

The owner was reliable and courteous. He showed up when he said he would and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. He even came back to re-caulk the tub.

This company was good and our tub looks nice. However, they did not give us specifics on how long the job would take or tell us just how strong the smell of the chemicals they used would be. We also didn't know in advance that we would need to re-caulk our tub ourselves as well as put all the hardware such as drains and faucets back in the tub. When I needed to change the appointment, it took them longer than I would have liked to get back to me. However, I realize that having to do caulking and tub hardware installation after this type of job is most likely common sense knowledge that we should have realized in advance.

They did a wonderful job, showed up on time and did excellent work; it took 4-5 hours in total. Our bathtub was a circa-1940s cast iron behemoth that was scratched, stained and pitted. Now it looks brand new. While we have to be careful with the surface (no harsh abrasives, no adhesive bathmats, etc.); it is totally worth it for the transformation and the price. The company was very helpful with what kind of products to use and tips if we ever scratch it (white nail polish!). Replacing our tub would have been a nightmare and those plastic bath liners just look cheap to me, even though they cost thousands. I highly recommend refinishing and Mobile Refinishers do great work!

This company did a very good job for a reasonable price, and I would definitely hire them again if I were to refinish a tub. One warning: if you can wait longer to start using your tub than just the time recommended, you will be glad. We re-caulked the tub as instructed in the time frame recommended, but unfortunately, we dropped the caulk gun and gouged the newly refinished surface. When we attempted to repair the gouge with White Out, as recommended, it left a horrendous patch - White Out is definitely not the same color as the product used to refinish the tub! Also, your new tub finish will be very slick - it would be wise to have a new packet of your favorite bathtub stickers ready to apply before you take your first shower. Finally, you should know that if you choose to refinish your tub you won't ever be able to use harsh cleansers or brushes to clean the tub - the surface does scratch after a few years or over-vigorous cleaning.
