Description of Work: AJ Rose replaced a small carpet that had been damaged in the winter as well as carpeted our front stairs. They were professional and responsive the entire time, as well as punctual. The work was completed in a very timely manner. Their prices seemed a bit expensive, but after our bad experience with Empire it was worth it.

Description of Work: Overall, AJ Rose carpets was fine. They were very prompt, and the installers did a great job, even helped repair a broken bed frame. I am a little disappointed with the feel of the carpet, not as well padded as I had hoped. I guess I should have upgraded to a thicker pad. The last thing, is that they put the wrong doors up in guest room, and I didn't notice until they were gone. They were going to send them back, but I had a painter at my home who easily swapped them out. You have to watch everything, I guess. The installers were nice, courteous guys, and moved all of the furniture from one room to another, and put things back for the most part where they went.

Description of Work: Cleaned carpeting of stairs, living room and two bedrooms. Carpets had not been cleaned for nearly two years but were not stained. As the crew was about to leave, I commented to the person in charge that the carpets appeared dirtier than prior to "the cleaning". He responded that they would look fine when they dried. They did not look fine when they dried. I wondered if dirty water had been used as I believe that we were the last customer of the day.
