The sales process was fine - it did take a few tries to get someone to call me back but once we were connected, things went smoothly. The carpet was ordered and obtained quickly and installed on schedule. The fellow who did the installation was phenomenal. There is some fancy woodwork paneling in my dining room that made the installation more challenging, but he made it work. Carpet looks beautiful.

The folks on the phone were very courteous for the quote and pointed me to the Angies coupon and how to purchase it.. They called me the day before to confirm and were able to adjust their schedule due to a change in my schedule. The guys showed up on time and were very helpful. They explained everything as well as moved bits without any issue. They did it effeicetly and when I asked them to go over a spot a second time, there was an immediate 'not a problem', and they redid the one stair tread. They left everything back to where it was. I would use them again and highly recommend.

We bought a coupon here on Angie's List for discounted carpet cleaning (3 rooms, up to 600 sq ft). We have lived in our house for 14 years and the carpets have never been (professionally) cleaned so they were quite dirty. There was a small hiccup in the scheduling - they lost our appointment but when we called to find out where they were, they rescheduled for the next day. They were very accommodating, moving (with my help) some stuff around to make sure everything got cleaned. In addition they honored the coupon for all three "rooms" even though one of them (our basement) was quite large. There was a small extra charge for the stairs of $35 which we were told about in advance. The person who came out was very professional, clean, and did a nice job. In terms of quality of work, the upstairs bedrooms came out pretty clean. The basement carpet (which is white) was cleaner for the effort, but far from sparkling. Again, since it hadn't been cleaned in at least 14 years and it was REALLY grimy, I wasn't expecting perfection and I'm pretty sure it got about as clean as steam cleaning was going to able to accomplish. Chemical cleaning might do a better job for our particular case, but no complaints whatsoever about the effort put out by the company. We would use them again in a heartbeat to clean our carpets.

I am very happy with the job. I wasn?t even home, but had my best friend there while they were working. They did a very professional job. I have heard about them for about 20 years They didn?t waste any time and were very efficient.

Signing up over the phone for an appt. was pretty easy. I was able to get an appt. for the time I wanted. 2 people showed up at the time, they were professional in their dealings. After I showed them the rooms, they went about spraying the cleaners and then taking turns cleaning the carpets. They were done in about an hour or so & the carpets were nicely cleaned. I would certainly use this company again and recommend their services.

We removed the old carpet and disposed of it, as well as moving the furniture out of the room in preparation for the install. Everything went smoothly. Took most of the day. The installer was short one piece of brass nosing on the stairs, and came back a few days later and finished as he said he would. Great job as usual. We have used AJ Rose many times over the past 25 years, and have been very satisfied.

I received the report from my sister. They were nice but would not move any furniture or items. I wasn't aware of this. The total time spent was about 45 minutes to do 3 areas. . They did not remove all of the stains nor commented why they could not. The carpet was extremely wet when they left. I would not use them again

They were extremely professional. They also came to do an estimate on carpet repair and basically told me that it was not worth it with the carpet that I had. I knew that the carpet was on its last legs and they confirmed it. They did not try to sell me a whole new carpet and I appreciated it. They did do an amazing job cleaning our carpet so we can get a couple of more years out of it. When I replace that carpet, I'm definitely going back to AJ Rose.

purchased a big deal...got a gentleman on the phone to set up service. he was gonna call me back because he felt they were slightly out of the 5 mile radius. He and I went to google maps and it showed 26.5 miles. I missed his call back so I returned a call, got a woman on the phone who tried to help and without even checking told me that they were 50 miles away they were not coming with charging me another 60.00 for travel expense. it was clear she didnt want my business or was having a bad day. I wish i got the other gentlemen on the phone who was ultra professional. a refund was issued my angies list.

I needed to get wall to wall carpet for a bedroom and had bought an Angie's list coupon.I called the store a few times. The people responding were always helpful and courteous.I eventually drove to the store from Cambridge early on a weekday. I was the only one in the store so I did not have to wait. I had the full attention of the sales person which is really nice and very different from going to home depot for example.I had the exact measurements of the bedroom. The sales person helped me choose a carpet and things went pretty fast.I It took a little longer than expected to schedule the installation, and the person who was installing the carpet arrived couple hours late but otherwise everything went smoothly. The main advantage of buying at AJ Rose is the customer service and the wide selection. I did not find the prices particularly competitive but the service more than offsets the price. You will not waste your time, and you will find something that suites your needs. .

They were very quick and professional. They were pleasant to deal with. There was even a place for my kids to play while I was shopping in the store. They installed it the next day.

I have had this area rug cleaned by another company a few years ago and it had come back just as soiled as before. So, this time I used Angie's List and found AJ Rose with exceptional reviews for all their services. I even had a coupon from Angie's List which they honored without question. Everyone I dealt with from the initial call, to the drop off, and then to the pick up were warm, welcoming, and professional. My rug looks like new!! They did an incredible job cleaning all the spots that had been there. I cannot say enough about the staff at AJ Rose. Love my rug again, and love AJ Rose.

They were friendly and prompt on the phone, we made the appt for within the week. Same with the actual service. The rugs are glowing! I can't believe they came out so well!

I liked their punctuality, their service, the friendliness of the employee, and the marvelous job they did. Other carpet cleaners I have used didn't do nearly as good of job as they did.

We were left with lots of the details between the store and the installer. We never did get the trim installed properly and for the money we spent, I would expect the job to be finished.

After getting ripped off by a national chain, I found AJ Rose on Angie's list and was so great foul. They were quick to respond and only took up a little of my time or make the arrangements. The installers were on time and did an excellent job.

They did a great job--were very prompt coming to measure for the carpet, and extremely professional and skilled about installing it. We had to wait a long time for the carpet itself because the color we chose was backordered; the only hiccup after that was that we had to postpone the originally scheduled installation because the carpet didn't make it onto their delivery truck. If we had been on a deadline this might have been a big deal; as it was, it was just a minor frustration. Now the carpet is in and looks great, and I am glad we used AJ Rose. I would definitely shop there and hire them again.

The process went well. We live in another state so it was a bit of a problem due to distance but they were very accommodating and the work was done when we needed it finished. The price was a fair price. They worked within our budget and they had a selection for every budget. I felt very comfortable with the sales person.

We needed an office carpet replaced and Peter Tomasetti was extremely helpful at helping us find a very durable carpet and good cushion. We also needed to move office furniture and large filing cabinets out of the office before removal of the old carpeting and installation of the new one was to commence. We were very pleased that Peter helped us to strategise how his crew could move the furniture and filing cabinets to staging areas inside our office, saving us from hiring a mover ($800 estimate from moving companies). His crew was very professional and experienced, and matched the patterns together perfectly so that we cannot see any seam where the new carpet is spliced together. We look forward to using AJ Rose again in the future for any other carpeting projects that we may have as well as for cleaning and maintaining our existing carpeting.

As I stated previously, there was a serious accident at my house that stained my bedroom, hallway and stairs. I was concerned because the carpet is wool. They did a great job. Two men arrived on time. They were neat and clean and removed the stains and cleaned the carpet.

One person came. He was very prompt. He actually called to see if he could come early which was fine. I think he did a very good and conscientious job and he really explained what he was doing and gave advice about things. So I was very pleased with it. They gave us a special and charged us a reasonable rate for one or two additional things that they did.
