No problems at all. A very good experience.

They arrived on time and were finished so fast I couldn't believe it. They explained that their machinery is the most powerful on the market and can clean and almost dry the rugs in record time. I was delighted with their professionalism and courtesy. I have had them back since for the rest of the house. I'll never use any other company again.

I have used AJ Rose several times for installation and cleaning of our carpet. They are outstanding. The sales rep are very knowlegeble and they work with your schedule. Their installers are also great and very professional. Never had any problem with these guys

They did a good job but didn't make the best impression. I live in Cambridge and when they arrived there wasn't enough space in front of my home for them to park their truck. I understand their frustration - voiced often when they arrived - but its not like I have any control over on-street parking. We were eventually able to get a neighbor to move but I was left feeling as if it were somehow my fault. They also kept telling me how it wouldn't take long - all they needed was 45 minutes. All in all, my carpets look good but I don't think I'd use them again unless it was through another deal. Who wants their service providers to make them feel bad, or feel that they aren't taking the time to do the job right?!?

I called to schedule the work which was very quick. The women I spoke with was very helpful. They arrived at the time they said they would be there, the 2 workers scoped out the work and decided the best way the bring in the hose for the cleaning. They were there 45 minutes and the carpet looks great. Couldn't be happier.

I purchased an Angies List coupon for 3 areas of carpet clean and also paid to have 2 additonal areas done. AJ Rose was punctual, professional, answered all my questions regarding dust mites, and did an Awesome job on the carpets. The pretreated the trouble spots and it worked like magic! I Highly recoommend them!!!

Hard to do business with people so indifferent to customers. It's a shame to spend good money advertising to bring people into the showroom only to have them turned off by the indifference of the sales personnel.

The contact people (I spoke with two at two different times) were very pleasant and informative. The appointment was made to clean the carpets within 10 days or so of the phone call. The two-person cleaning crew was pleasant and professional. They did have to return to go over a small area near furniture but they were responsive to my phone call about returning.

Two workmen arrived on time, worked as a team, and conducted themselves in a professional manner. I found them to be diligent and thorough. I would recommend them.

I spoke with them yesterday and they now only offer wall to wall carpet so I will not be able to use the deal. I was hoping to get an oriental rug from them. They are very nice but they did not have what I thought they would provide or what I was looking for.

Scheduled an appointment by phone. Unfortunately, due to human error, my appt did not make it into the company schedule, and no one showed up on the designated day and time. Called and expressed my disappointment, and received a prompt call back from the owner who apologized and made things right. No problems with rescheduling the appt and the service ultimately performed 2 weeks later. Owner and manager seemed like nice people, would do business with them again. These things happen

I purchased one of the "Big Deals" ($89) from Angie's List: an offer from AJ Rose Carpets and Flooring to clean a given amount of square footage of carpet (approx. 800-1000 sq. feet). This is the size of a small apartment on our third floor that has wall to wall carpeting. We needed the work done on short notice, and between tenants. AJ Rose was totally responsive! Came exactly on the date requested, was punctual, cordial, thorough, and professional. The carpet was perfect!!

I went to fifty-five flooring stores before choosing them. The total price included the price of the product and the labor; it was a pretty good price. They sent a gentleman out who was very good. They don’t do it themselves, they just sell the product and send someone out for the installation, but they were very good. I had no problems with anybody.

The technician was first-rate and the results were much better than I expected. A very tired-looking and stained older carpet came out looking great, and a year-old beat-up carpet looked like new. The only bad surprise was the price, which wasn't clearly explained to me when I set up the job. I don't think we got ripped off, but it wasn't the bargain I expected based on my conversation with the scheduler at the store. It was about $80 more than I thought it would be. I would definitely use A.J. Rose again, but next time I'll get the quote in writing.

I purchased a "Big Deal" for 3 areas of carpet cleaning for $89 and was disappointed with the outcome. I had 2 small bedrooms and a hallway cleaned. They were scheduled to arrive between 2 and 4, but didn't arrive until 5:00. The entire cleaning job took less than 15 minutes and my carpets were soaked! I was told they would be dry in 4 - 8 hours. 24 hours later they were still damp. I was most disappointed to find that the spots I had hoped would be cleaned were not....

They were prompt, courteous, and quick. I was thrilled to have my carpets cleaned after so long, and they were able to get almost all of the heavily soiled areas completely clean. I purchased a Groupon; I will use them again if they offer more deals - I think the regular price is too steep for about 30 minutes of work.

We settled on day and the time. They were to arrive between 1:00 and 3:00 on Sept 14th. They did not arrive until 6:00. The two men were very nice. They completed the job much too quickly. I pointed out particular stains that need their attention. A few days later the stains re-appeared. I think more time and care should have put into the job

Overall experience was fair. The salesperson was not particularly helpful at all. He directed us to "find something you like, and I'll get you a quote." The store was not well laid out to compare various alternatives - it was literally a needle in a haystack, and we almost left without anything. We did find something we liked, at a price that was quasi-reasonable, and went through with the sales process. I gave the measurements of the room (from architect's blueprints), yet when they came out to "measure", the room was about 15% bigger than the architect thought it was. So the carpet was about 15% more expensive than we were originally quoted. Aside from the original estimate, nothing was done on paper. No justification for how the room (and quote) somehow "grew". Delivery and installation was on time and well executed. The carpet looks great - they did a great job on that front. Overall, I wouldn't say the experience was all that atypical for a local home improvement kind of store. Not particularly good, but not offensively bad either.
