He checked stock on the water heater and called me back within 1/2 hour. He showed up within 2 hours and very efficiently removed the old heater and installed the new one. I would definitely use AA Zack again!

They came on time and did the work in about 5 minutes max. Friendly and efficient. Looking at some of the 'deals' on Angie's list I think the price may have been a bit high though he did say he was giving me a discount on the usual fee for snaking two drains.

AA Zack was around the corner when I called and he came over 2 minutes later to fix my toilet. He had the replacement parts in his car and 20 minutes later I was finished. Best, most professional plumber experience yet.

He came the same day I called and provided excellent service. He was efficient, informative, and helpful.

He came right out within a couple hours and was very professional, knowledgeable and a very nice young man. He fixed my plumbing issues very efficiently and did a wonderful job. He had an apprentice with him and was very informative and also did a nice job in cleaning up afterwards, and in fact put all of my products back underneath the sink for me. I would highly recommend his services to others. He was also nice enough to put in two light bulb for me.

Called this company on Wednesday to schedule an appointment to install an new sink. Owner of company picked up phone and told me they are able to come on Sunday morning to do the job. On Sunday they arrived and promptly set to work. They installed the new sink, hooked up the faucet and put in some new plumbing. Works great and fast work.

I called and they were able to come by the next day. Very punctual, professional, and friendly. Quickly fixed the issue and the price was reasonable. Would definitely call them again.

Isaac was a pleasure to work with. I had contractors in to rewire the kitchen, and we found that the plumbing for the dishwasher and sink was done incorrectly. I wouldn't be able to hook up my fridge or dishwasher. It wasn't a plumbing emergency, but i would have lost work time and had to pay for everyone to come back out if I couldn't find a plumber. I called more than 20 before I called Isaac. He made time the next morning, showed up exactly when promised, fixed the problem completely, left extra materials so I could hook up the dishwasher, and now the plumbing looks fantastic. I'm very grateful for his help.

This time they just hooked up a gas cooktop to the gas line, but they have done a number of jobs at our house in the past (including emergency repairs) and their service quality and professionalism has always been great. I would highly recommend them.

Woke up to find no hot water. Called usual plumbing Co. which was not sure they could do it same day; said they would let me know in the afternoon. Found Zack on Angie's List and called about 9:30 AM. He said he could do it later that morning if in stock at supplier and, quoted price of $1250 [I had not mentioned Angie's list] and said he would see about picking up water heater at supplier. Called me an hour later to say first supplier didn't have it, but second one did - he'd have to come in the afternoon, between 2-4PM. He'd call me when on his way over. Then he called me just before NOON, arrived about 12:15 and finished the job by 1:15. I mentioned Angie's list and he knocked the "coupon" $50 off the price and charged me $1200. Basement was somewhat wet from big rainstorm yesterday plus water from failed water heater, but they did the job neatly and cleaned up reasonably well. He took my credit card via a smartphone app. Only glitch was that full receipt he tried to email me did not arrive and he ended up sending me a truncated payment acknowledgement. He appeared somewhat impatient with getting the smartphone to work right. I would prefer a full receipt for my records, especially since the water heater comes with a warranty.

This was a minor problem but we call AA Zack in for everything (both our home in Brookline and the aging rental we own in Jamaica Plain). The best thing about him is his expertise and professionalism: he is not fazed by any problem. When something unexpected comes up, as is prone to happen in our rental, he just deals with it until the problem is solved. We just know that when we call him he will show up as expected and everything will be in good shape when he leaves. We're always happy with his fixture recommendations for our home. His prices are fair but not a bargain. The bargain is that you get what you pay for.

From the start he was blaming previous plumber for stripping shut off valve on a job that was done a week prior (installed two high efficiency boiler/furnaces) and not conveying this to me. He repaired a hole in the pipe underneath my tenants kitchen sink and installed, supposedly, new faucet. My tenants told me faucet continued to leak. Plumber came back and then said there was no leak but I needed a new kitchen sink as it was"corroded". Interestingly, I found out it was not a new faucet and the gasket did not even fit the faucet, which was why it continued to leak and was not because I needed a new sink.

Very responsive and punctual. Gave me an estimate that was $200 less than another one I had received for the same small job, and the final total actually was $25 less than estimate. Work was great, very happy.

Needed front doors locks changed after a break in. Zak came short while after the initial call. He was very friendly and professional. He changed the main lock and rekeyed the dead bolt so I can use one key for all 3 locks. He noticed the hinges were misaligned and correct them so now the door no longer sticks. Will certainly give him a call if need a locksmith again.

He was responsive, punctual, transparent about cost and when he got there he was very fast. He was a little gruff, but not off-putting. He was very willing to talk with my wife and mother in-law who were prepping for a party in the kitchen while he was working. Several months in and no flooding - so pretty good.

There was a pipe that needed to be replaced as it was leaking from a 2nd floor bathroom shower to the first floor. They came right away and fixed it quickly and professionally and there have been no problems since.

I called Issac on Tuesday and he responded immediately. Comparing to other plumbers I had called, he gave me the best price and earliest availability (9:00am next day). So I decided to hire him for the installation job. The next morning around 8:45am, he called me and asked to cancel the appointment because of an emergency on the site he was working. We then rescheduled to 8am Thursday morning. He came around 8:25am on Thursday and started his job right away. Gas range installation was smooth and professional. However, dishwasher installation was not a pleasant experience at all. Part of it was caused by the wrong electrical wire in my kitchen, but he was also not experienced in installing the model I bought (GE Cafe 24'' build-in dishwasher). The whole job took nearly two hours to finish. During the process, he was very defensive when a scratch was found on kitchen floor and when microwave was damaged. Although these damages might or might not directly caused by him, his over self-protection attitude was rude and very unpleasant for me. My recommendation: if you are looking for a plumber who does job for a good price and don't care too much of customer experience or personal attention, then Zack is the right choice for you.

It was pretty expensive for two hours of labor. He finished the work early. I don't think I would refer them because what they did was not really great. The first plumber did a better job; AA Zach was more interested in doing it fast. I had a leakage and he said he would come but he never did so I fixed it myself. He was professional. I would use them again if it's an emergency; otherwise, I would not.

The date that he came was approximate as we wrote this review a few months later. Also, the amount was approximate but was fair, we thought. Glad to have someone nearby.

We called AA Zack Plumbing when sewer extractor pump in our basement bathroom suddenly stopped working. Mr Zack picked up the phone when we called and was at our house within a few hours. Our pump was very old, so the best and most reliable option was to replace it. Mr Zack brought a replacement pump with him, so the whole repair took less than an hour or so... One couldn't be happier with this kind of service! AA Zack is very reliable, experienced and courtious plumbing contractor. They have done a number of big and small jobs at our house over more than 20 years, including gas boiler and water heater replacements and other very involved projects. We recommend AA Zack Plumbing without any hesitation!

Zack answered my call while on another job, gave the overall estimate on the phone, and arrived immediately (it appears that he managed to squeeze me between his scheduled jobs). He had the necessary spare part in has van, and was done in half an hour. While working, he gave me very useful advice on replacing the showerhead (something we did not discuss on the phone), and fixed a small problem with the existing shower free of charge. For the problem that I had, Zack was a perfect match. In general, he is effective, informal, experienced, resourceful, very pleasant,and most willing to help. For a record: Zack was the second person I called that morning. The first vendor (with axcellent reviews) was only able to schedule me tentatively - either today or tomorrow, will call before arrival. They gave their cost of labor (their minimum would cost about as much as the entire job done by Zack), and were unsure about the amount of work and the cost of parts. They are obviously a bigger company, with all advantages and drawbacks of a bigger company. (At present, the only advantages that come to my mind are booties and a receptionist). I was almost reluctant to write this review, because I do not want Zack's business to turn into another big company. But - what the heck, one should be a good citizen and share the find.

Zack came and did a great job! He managed to squeezed me in during this emergency time and charge a very reasonable price. After the job was done, I asked him to look at some small other issues I was having around the house, and he helped with no hesitation. I highly recommend Zack and will definitively use him again for my next job.

We phoned Mr. Zack at 12:30pm on Sunday, 1-5-2014. He responded immediately, arrived within 2 hours as promised. The problem was an accumulation of dental floss, clogging the pipe. Mr. Zack resolved it immediately. Also, he told us "never" to flush dental floss.
