In addition to the furnace check, there was a problem with my furnace which they were able to repair quickly. Very professional service.

Very friendly people, nice to work with. The plumber showed up during the expected time window (gave me a call 20 min before, as agreed with the person who scheduled the service). Did a careful job at checking up and servicing my furnace and documented everything on the receipt. I had a home inspection a few days later, during which the home inspector thought that the burner ribbons of the furnace needed to be cleaned. They did not, but the plumber came back, FOR FREE, to make sure they were clean, and document this in an updated receipt. I really appreciate that they came back all the way to my house, despite the fact that this was part of an "Angie's List Deal", for which the company was probably not making a lot of money in the first place.

I had two leaking faucets but ended up charging me more than what I purchase. The price was to much but they did fix the problem.

There was some disagreement between us as to what was covered by the coupon. They also sent just one person for the service, and what I needed to get done would need at least two people. One would need to be an electrician for the heat exchanger and the other would have to be a plumber. We did reschedule and we were able to resolve our disagreement immediately.

Took advantage of an Angie's List coupon to have the gas boiler inspected in our newly purchased home. Scott arrived right on time and did a thorough inspection and explained certain features as well as how to properly maintain our boiler. He clearly knew what he was talking about and was very personable. I definitely would recommend Papalia's and have already had them back to handle an issue with my steam radiators - also an excellent experience at a reasonable price.

Things went well. I had to call them to tighten something but they came right back. They are very respectful of your property, and he covered his shoes before entering my house.

Went very well. I've used them a couple of times and the service person they send is always excellent. I like that they only do the work that needs to be done - no muss, no fuss, no upselling.

This was the last step in completing the kitchen renovation and it went so smooth! This company is quick to respond, gave a reasonable quote, the technician showed up on time and was very professional.

I was given a window from 9am-1pm on the plumber arriving. At about 11am, I got a call from someone at Papalia that the plumber was running late and he'd be there around 1. No big deal, I was appreciative of the heads up. The plumber arrived and I came in to show him the boiler. He took a look at the breathing valve and said that the problem was normal. They do leak some water. Later, I had another plumber come to give me a second opinion on this and other things and he said that, while breathing valves do leak some water, my leak wasn't normal as it was leaking from a connection point. The Paplia plumber seems to have been too quick to judge. The second plumber did show me where exactly the leak was coming from, and I agreed with him that it wasn't from the place where air comes out from... The Papalia plumber then looked at the pressure gauge. He said that wasn't worth replacing, unless the water was going to be drained from the whole system. Otherwise, it's too expensive for such a part. And every plumber brings their own gauge... This was handled well, I thought. The third was why the boiler was leaking. He hooked up his pressure gauge to the system and asked me to turn on all the heat. He deduced the problem wasn't the expansion tank - great. But he couldn't conclude on whether it was the pressure regulator or pressure release valve. In the end, he decided it was the pressure regulator. But, I didn't feel too confident with the way he deduced this, which is why I got a second opinion. Last thing I wanted was to replace a part, but not have it fix the problem. What surprised me was that part way through he said he was going to charge me a diagnosis fee of $99. Ok, fine. But I had an Angie''s list coupon of $30 off. But, he said that was no good for the diagnosis charge! This had be bothered. The coupon had no exceptions on it. It said worked performed, wasn't this work performed? I didn't want to push him on it, as I wasn't sure if I was going to find another plumber to look at my Trianco Heatmaker (plumbers for those are hard to find). He noticed I was surprised and said he'd fix my house leak for free. It took him about 5 minutes to fix that. I guess this was my consolation for not being able to use the coupon. In the end, he stayed around 30 minutes. The guy was professional and he was knowledgeable. I did feel like he wanted to move to his next job, though.

They arrived ahead of time. Listened to our needs, assessed what was needed to accomplish this job and explained the cost for these repairs. All of this was done in a timely manner. The they were professional and polite. They cleaned up after them selves. Tested every thing before they left. We would recomment anyone who has plumbing problem to use them.

We contacted Papilia a few weeks ago for an estimate; they were able to promptly send out a pair of techs to look at the units and give an estimate, free to AL members. They were helpful with answering questions and hypothesizing about what might be wrong with the units. After gathering other quotes we decided to go with Papalia as they impressed us with their knowledge and willingness to explain. They fixed up our heating stoves and got them working, and capped off a gas feed to an unused fireplace. They answered my wife's questions and explained what they did. They even performed a cheaper service for one of the stoves as it didn't need what they'd originally estimated. Overall a good experience and we are thinking of using them for future plumbing work. If I have to find something negative to say, it was that they did arrive toward the end of window they gave each time, not technically late, just not on the early side either. ;)

The work went very well overall. The plumber showed up in the timeframe I was expecting. We walked through the work and he gave me an estimate on each job and then got to work. Each repair was done to my satisfaction without creating any unnecessary mess.

i purchased a big deal for $200 worth of service to install a kitchen faucet. talked to someone on the phone and asked for a price quote for a standard job like that. they said they did not give quote nor will they give their hourly rate for labor. the technician showed up on time and quoted me $350 from a book that says kitchen faucet (labor only). i turned it down. why couldn't they just tell people on the phone from a book they already have? instead they just wasted mine and their own time. i am sure other than that experience, they would be a pleasure to work with.

They did an excellent job. I thought I was going to need a new water heater but he came in and said I didn't need a new one. He said I needed a new pressure valve. This was the second time I needed to do that and found out that the water pressure was 2 times as high as it should be. He did more work than I was expecting.

Great company to have work in your home. We needed a complete changeover from Oil heat to Gas. Papalia was able to work with my crazy schedule. They were extremely clean and proficient with all their work. They took what was once a confusing and obstrusive boiler and water tank and changed it to a very clean and small boiler tucked away in a clean spot. Gave me another 5ft of storage in my basement. Very polite and available to answer all my questions. Their estimate was spot on. No change with any of the estimated work and they were well with in their expected completion time. I will definitely use them again.

The service technician, Mike Antonellis was prompt, courteous and professiional. He took his time and performed a very thorough home inspection of all plumbing fixtures. Also, he installed, inspected and tested a new kitchen faucet with accessories. The cost was reasonable and I would highly recommend this company and individual for any future plumbing or heating work.

Went with Joseph G Perry and got the job done in under 30 minutes, new shower head installed and completely fixed the problem. I would strongly recommend Joe. See review under that business name.

Fast forward to 6 mos later, we are selling our house and the home inspector tells us the h2o heater should have its own dedicated outlet, which it didn't. And we weren't told that by the Papalia's employee. I called Papalia, they did quickly respond to my call/concern and a tech came out to confirm that and agreed their employee (who he admitted no longer works for them) should have told me this information. They tried to charge me for the trip, I refused to pay, and after a call to a supervisor, they agreed to waive the $39 trip charge. Overall, I would not use them again, since the 1st guy left our home unsafe for me and my family.

I was very satisfied with the outcome of the job and will call Papilia Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

The Company scheduled an appointment to look at my central AC unit. They were very polite and timely. On the phone, they said there was no fee to come check it out. The technician took about 2 hours to troubleshoot my problem going through all the scenarios and then said the condenser on the AC was broken and I was better off to replace the entire unit. They gave me an estimate, and when I called around, I found the price was over $1,000 more than any other place. They still charged me $140 for the diagnosis, even though they said it was no charge on the phone, but I understand 2 hours worth of troubleshooting doesn't come for free. They did say the fee would be refunded if we had them do the service. Since it is too expensive we are going somewhere else.

this is my first experience with Angie's list. so far I am very pleased with the process.

Saul was very professional and did a great job from start to finish. We had another company (listed in the angies list) come over to look at the broken condenser and was told an outrageous amount to replace the entire unit, not to mention the service guy refusing to even give a quote to repair. I found Papalia in the angies list and am very glad I did. Saul came over (dispatch charge free due to coupon) and gave us a very detailed explanation regarding what happened. He called around to identify a solution that was the cheapest while being the most effective (finding older, unused unit that could be coupled to my old system). He gave us a very reasonable price and came to work on Saturday in the heat to fix. We've been enjoying the A/C ever since. Very good company, reasonable price and professional. Would use again.
