I found this company on Angies list and read the reviews from other costomers. The set up an appointment the same day as my call. The plumber was very curtious and also did a very good job. I would certainly recommend them.

This deal worked out very well. They showed up on time and did a good job with the check up.

Company was helpful from the first call, which was answered by an actual person who actually worked for the company. Visit scheduled promptly; pre-call made as promised; plumber arrived promptly, checked out the work, and gave a quote. Toilet apparently has a block in it, not the drain. Plumber gave estimate for replacing the toilet - hugely expensive, so we opted to get toilet and installation elsewhere.

Mike and Paul were courteous, professional, and cheerful despite some access issues and having to break bad news to me several times -- problems can be more extensive in older homes than they appear on the surface. Net-net, upstairs toilet and leaking valve and downstairs toilet were replaced, the area was tidied, and the running water-torture heard each night for the past few weeks is over.

They scheduled us quickly, showed up promptly, and did the job. Very professional in attitude. Did NOT try and sell us other services/products even though we know our furnace is old.

Repairs got done but, don't feel the repairs were explained on my level. Will go elsewhere.

It went well. The plumber showed up on time and did good work as usual.

I refused to follow up and got my money back from Angie's big deal.

They were great. They were on time. I thought their prices were very reasonable. The plumbers were very professional. The people on the phone when I made my appointments were great. The last time I called, I was hysterical because I got my grandmother's diamond earring down the drain. They came that day and fished it out. I only have positive experiences with them. They do the job that they should do. They are a great company. I would definitely recommend them.

They were courteous, punctual. It took 10 min and $89 to tell me everyhting looks good. Not sure I wanted bad news but I defintely did not get a feeling they did anything too detailed. Again since I am not a plumber I assume they did do the service I paid for but some explanataion of what they were looking for, what to watch out for etc would have been nice

Papalia sent a rep to the job site the next day. Estimate of $835 included disposal of toilet only. Amount paid to another supplier for actual work was $300 for the disconnect of the 4 plumbing fixtures as well as the removal of the toilet flange and shower valve, moved water supply line and disposal of all fixtures and the vanity. The work was completed by 2 men in 2 hours.

A plumber from Papalia showed up 15 minutes after calling. He quoted a price out of his price book. He started removing the old tank while waiting for the new one to arrive. He installed the new one with a new pan underneath to catch water that might come from future leaks. The whole job was done in about 4 hours.

Our old hot water heater was leaking. Papalia came out to give us an estimate on different models and options. They were very professional. When we decided on the model we wanted, they did a fantastic job installing and making sure the house was up to code.

He said I would need to replace the entire boiler, for $1000.00, or said I could buy an $853 auto water feed. Mike the supervisor called me to discuss the issue. The supervisor offered to come out, but I was uncomfortable and told them no thanks at this point. I do appreciate the responsiveness they showed to my concern.

We arrived home Friday morning after a work trip to two notable things: the advent of the Blizzard of 2013, aka Nemo, and a burst heating pipe that was dripping water all over the newly installed carpet in a basement room. Despite the snow, which was increasing in intensity by the minute, Papalia Plumbing sent Scott out and he arrived within 45 minutes. He fixed the pipe, bled the system and had us up and running in 90 minutes -- and then headed back out into the snow. All the time he kept up his good cheer and professionalism. Highest marks to Papalia and Scott for getting us safely through the Blizzard of 2013. It could have been a cold, cold couple of days.

A leak in laundry room prompted me to contact Papalia. Within an hour of submitting request via email I received a phone call from Papalia. Once they felt comfortable that this was not an emergency they scheduled a plumber to visit 4 days later. The plumber arrived on schedule, and was able to attend to all the other plumbing items I had meant to get fixed over the past year. Being winter, having the kickboard heater in the kitchen replaced was important. The plumber was professional, used drop clothes to keep area clean and cleaned up after himself. Price quoted was price charged - no surprises.

The technician arrived on time, was very courteous, performed the check up, and answered my questions. He even did a partial bleed of the system because I had complained about some noise. He said he would have to charge for a full bleed, but it wasn't clear that this was needed. So, I declined that. He assured me that the system was working well.

On Friday morning 1/25/2013, I had virtually no hot water and I found my hot water heater leaking in the basement at 7:15 AM. I called Papalia. They had a Tech at my house by 9:30 AM that morning. The water heater needed replacement (the tank was perished) and they immediately located a replacement heater, went and got it, removed the old heater and installed the new. The job was all done by 2 PM. These guys are great....I give them straight A's except for price. Price was only a B because I did not have time to comparison shop. The Tech who came was helpful and patient. I even saved $30 with a coupon from Angie's List!

They came that day. They were efficient and polite. They told me what it was going to cost and stuck with it. It was good.

This was a difficult repair that involved figuring out a complex, energy-efficient Buderus system and replacing thermostats and automatic sensors in the house that we had mistakenly removed when we moved into the house last year. Mr. St. Hilaire was very patient, willing to do extra research, and persistent. He solved a difficult problem, tried to save us money, and educated us along the way about how our Buderus system worked.

Came on time, Finished the work ontime and stuck to the price eventhough had to do little bit extra due to nature of work.

Wonderful! Very courteous, prompt, clean..a pleasure.

I called Papalia to fix a few leaky sinks. They sent Brad, who was well-mannered, knowledgeable and got the job done fast. I will be calling them again in a few weeks to install my new kitchen sink.

They where able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days. They gave me a three hour time window, but then the main office called to tell me when the technician was on his way. Two technicians came, both very friendly. They put on shoe covers to get from the main door to the basement. They were willing to answer all my questions.

Great work. NO complaints. Pleasure doing business with these guys.
