Bob, was very responsive and coordinated to get the wood delivered to fit my schedule. Wood looks good and price was decent, will definitely get firewood from him again.

Extremely pleased. I contacted the owner via email and he replied within 24 hours. We coordinated delivery and it was delivered as promised. The owner's communication was proactive and clear. He delivered the wood and asked where we wanted it dumped. He offered to split the delivery into two halves - one for one area we store the wood and one area for another area we store the wood. He couldn't have been more accomodating. The thing that stands out for me is the quality of the wood. There was very little "filler." Just about all the wood were actual logs - not much bark, dirt, etc. The greatest thing about the wood is that it is all cut to the same size which made the stacking of the wood extremely easy. Customer service was wonderful as the owner was very passionate about his product and happy to spend as much time as necessary to explain how the wood is cut and dried. I couldn't be happier. One thing about the price - this is how much you pay for kiln dried wood. You could probably get seasoned wood for cheaper, but there is a good chance you will get some green wood, some wet wood and wood of varying sizes. You know what you will get with Eager Beaver.

Bob from Eager Beaver Firewood has been great to work with! He was responsive and helpful when we first called to get information about a cord of kiln-fired wood. Even though it was relatively late in the season, he accommodated us quickly. He brought a small load of firewood to our home earlier than the full delivery because we were out of power; he even checked up on us a few days later to see if we needed any more to carry us over until the power came back on. When the rest of the order was delivered, he stacked it quickly and neatly in our basement. We are incredibly happy with the product! The high quality is noticeable compared to previous wood we've purchased and used in our wood-burning fireplace insert. We look forward to continuing to order from Bob and Eager Beaver.

I called Bob two days after we had lost power and were running very low on firewood. He too, had lost power but was able to make the delivery the very next day. This is the most beautiful, clean wood we've ever purchased and at a very fair price. I can honestly say you won't find better service anywhere. Thank you!

Dan Mercer the owner of Eager Beaver was unbelievably professional and courteous. I was looking for firewood late in the season and dialed alot of numbers that didn't call me back. Dan called me back promptly and really took the time to educate me on the differences between kiln dried vs seasoned firewood. I ultimately didn't purchase any firewood from Dan - however when the day arises that I am purchasing kiln dried wood - I know who I will call.

I thought he was very pleasant. The wood burned very well and it burned very clean. We are ordering another 1/2 quart again. It is really good wood. It is kiln dried. We are happy with it. The price is a little bit expensive.

Overall it went well. The wood is high in quality, easy to light and burns well.

He made two drops, half in our driveway and half in our neighbors. He eye balled it perfectly. He answered all my questions the day of delivery and he offered further assistance if I had any more questions in the future. The wood was cut just right, bug free and dry. My neighbor and I have since used our wood and it burns hot and long, very good wood.

excellent kiln-dried wood--professional, quick delivery

After shopping around on Angie's List and making calls for delivery of home firewood, I settled on Eager B*****. Initially, I called Eager B***** and received there voice mail. Bob called me back that night and was very helpful and knowledgeable about his product. Eager B***** offers kiln-dried firewood, which is very dry and very clean (free of insects, mold, moss, etc.), perfect for home fireplace use. Bob was able to answer all of my questions and suggested I go with a 1/3 of a cord of firewood. Most other places only offered 1/4, 1/2, and full cords. Eager B*****'s prices are far better than others I had called. Bob was offering a 1/3 of a cord for less than others charged for a 1/4 cord. And, while most others had a flat delivery rate, Bob charged by the mile, which worked out great for me. In total, the 1/3 cord, delivery, and a bag of kindling, was far less than others offering kiln-dried wood. Bob worked with my schedule in order to set up delivery. He showed up on time and was very friendly and professional. I will definitely use Eager B***** again and will recommend them to anyone looking for quality, home delivered firewood. 11/1/2010 - Just took this years delivery of a 1/2 cord. Once again, excellent service and prices.
