When I first called, the father answered and told me that his son, Peter, would return my call. Waited till the next day but no call so I called back and happened to catch him. We then made an appointment for him to come over to our house for an estimate on a rather small job with a possible bigger job pending(we are planning a big addition next year). Peter never showed up. I left him a vm but never called me back. If the job was going to be too small for him, then he should have told me so then instead of my husband and I waiting around for him!
Description of Work: Never showed up for an appointment. Never returned my calls.

It took about a week for Mr. Lafauci to return my call, but after that he was quite responsive. Mr. Lafauci?s team did a fabulous job and the house looks like new. Prior to beginning they covered all of my windows and shrubbery. After the job there was no debris left around my home and they did an excellent clean up job. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: “I have a stucco home built in 1902 and I believe it is the original stucco and started to crack and peel badly. Mr. Lafauci’s team did a two to three part process to the areas that needed it.

This company had done extensive stucco repair on this property for the previous owner about 10 years ago and had done a good job. Peter LaFauci was prompt in responding to my inquiry and did the repairs the same week that I called. I am very happy with their work.
Description of Work: Removed sections of water-damaged exterior stucco. Installed galvanized wire lath and covered with new stucco, finished to match existing texture.

For the estimate, Peter was late, but made it there that day anyway. For the job, he and his team were very punctual all three mornings, and did a great job. You can't see a single seam, the curves look great, and they were clean, neat, focused and fast. The total exactly matched the estimate. Peter also clearly cared about the rest of our house; he told us to seal them off completely and they would only use the back door, which was a lot more consideration than our other contractors had. I'm happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Put up blueboard and plaster on all kitchen walls and about 50% of kitchen ceiling. Built a soffit, as well.

SCHEDULING WAS A NIGHTMARE. PATCHY RESPONSIVENESS TO CALLS INCLUDING A 4-DAY RESPONSE TIME ON AN URGENT PAGE (I CALLED MANY TIMES A DAY WITH NO RESPONSE). THEY OFTEN DIDN'T COME WHEN PROMISED. TO BE FAIR THEY WERE FRIENDLY AND FLEXIBLE WITH 2 SCHEDULE CHANGES ON MY END, BUT IN THE END I PAID PAINTERS $500 FOR STANDING AROUND NOT WORKING SINCE THESE GUYS BROKE CLEAR SCHEDULING PROMISES 3 TIMES. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM DUE TO POOR RESPONSIVENESS AND POOR RELIABILITY. REGARDING QUALITY, PLASTER CEILINGS LOOK WONDERFUL, BUT WALLS ARE LESS CONSISTENT. I HAD TO CALL THEM BACK FOR WALL PROBLEMS (DIDN'T REPAIR SPOTS, SOME REPAIRS CRACKED/PEELED AFTER 3 DAYS); BATHROOM BLUEBOARD HAD TO BE RE-DONE DUE TO POOR INSTALLATION. PLASTER SPATTERS EVERYWHERE WITH B GRADE CLEAN-UP. FINISH WORK WAS A QUALITY SOME AREAS, B- IN OTHERS. AFTER I INSISTED ON RE-WORK, THEY DID AN A+ JOB WITH THE CEILING/WALL INTERFACE (WITH NO MOLDINGS, EDGES ARE REALLY CRISP). I STILL DON'T RECOMMEND THIS GROUP OVERALL THOU

IT WAS A LITTLE HARD GETTING IN TOUCH WITH HIM AT FIRST. HOWEVER WHEN THEY STARTED THEY STUCK TO IT AND IT LOOKS VERY NICE, SOLID AND ALL SEALED UP. HE WAS A LITTLE TOUCHY ABOUT HIS PRICES, BUT WE DIDN'T THINK THE PRICE WAS UNREASONABLE. HE CLEARLY HAD THE EXPERIENCE AND DID A LOT OF WORK FOR WHAT WE PAID.
Description of Work: REPLACED THE STUCCO WHERE IT HAD FALLEN OFF AND REINFORCED WEAK STUCCO ON OUR 3 STORY BUILDING.
