Called Mark based on Angie's List reviews. He picked up right away (no need for voicemail) which with other services is not always the case. Described problem and he gave me estimate over phone which was quite reasonable. He said he would call back that evening to schedule appointment. Came next day to replace outside faucet at scheduled time. Working with his son, job was done quickly and cleanly. Cost was actually a bit less than original estimate. What more can you ask for. I would call him again for future plumbing needs.

On both occasions they were prompt, fast and fairly priced. The first visit involved some detective work after our original guess at the source of the leak proved mistaken. Mark was quick to detect the actual location of the leak and suggest a ready fix. He and his son returned at a later date to remove the damaged line and thread a new section of line up through the wall and then attach it safely at both ends. At the gas-dryer end of the line, the working space was tight and required the son to clamber over the top of the stacked washer-dryer unit and drop down behind the unit. He accomplished this easily. After watching both men work, I have no doubt the job was properly and safely done. I should note that Mark (whom I've used on other, smaller jobs before) is not the colorful, shoot-the-breeze kind of guy to have in your house. Instead, he is focused and to the point. He's there when he says he'll be there, he tackles the job efficiently, and he's gone. All in all, I recommend him highly.

Could not be better. He came with son within a day. Fixed leaky toilet efficiently and was reasonable!

They showed up on time and did their work neatly, efficiently and quickly. Not only would I recommend them, I already had as soon as they were finished. The toilet handle was an “oh, by the way I almost forgot” moment that did not faze them and it was taken care of in a flash. It was a very positive experience.

Wow! Mark returned my call within a half an hour, and within a half an hour of that, he was at my house. He had the part he needed in his truck, and his son, who I guess is an apprentice, installed it under Mark's direction. The whole thing took maybe 20 minutes. I thought his price was extremely reasonable, especially compared to what other Angie's Listers listed for similar work from other plumbers. I will definitely call Mark the next time I have a plumbing problem.

Excellent experience. Mark showed up with his son right when they said they would (even though their truck got a flat tire on the way). They were very efficient, very friendly, did a very professional job and I was extremely pleased with the results. He had quoted me a price over the phone and that was the final price of the job so there were no surprises. They also gave me some advice about my heating system and A/C system as well. I will DEFINITELY use them again and would not hesitate recommending them to anyone in the area.

Couldn't have gone better. Mark had us send photos before hand to see what the job would entail. He and his son arrived when they said they would, took the time to explain what they were going to do and then when completed what had been done with a demonstration of successful completion.

I wanted to replace a toilet and bath tub fixtures and some other minor plumbing issues. Mark was most helpful in giving me what could be done and the price for that work. Unfortunately, I discovered some other work that needed to be done on the house that was more urgent and I could not go further with the project. Based on my conversations with Mark, I will call him when I am ready to tackle the bath room in the future.

He was really nice and both my husband and I liked him. He was very experienced and clearly understood things the problems that would be anticipated. Even his price was more competitive than others. If I had any other plumbing job I would definitely use him. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. I would rate him high overall. Incase I was knocking down my house; I would definitely use him as he seemed very knowledgeable person.

Mark was always available to come and give us an estimate within a day of calling him and performed the work within a week of giving us the estimate. He was very punctual (actually, always early... Wow), professional and his rates were much lower than other quotes. We're very happy with mark and we'll definitely use him again.

He was pretty good. He came with his son. They did the job really well, but I really wasn’t expecting having a young kid come to work even if he was really good. He didn’t tell me that he was going to be bringing the son with him. He checked everything over. I wish I did know him. The last time I wanted to use him to use a plumber he didn’t come for a few days when I needed somebody right away. I think he was booked up, so I ended up calling some names and getting the name of the plumber from a friend in Needham. He did a bunch of work. I think his price was fair. When I called him, he was responsive. The first one I couldn’t use him was because he was busy. It was not his fault. He was very punctual. The job has been fine. I haven’t had leaks or anything. I haven’t had to get somebody else to do it. He seemed like a very nice person. I had gotten an Angie’s List magazine, and it said something about since he had an advertisement in it. I couldn’t find the magazine to cut out the ad to show it to him. He gave me $10 or $20 off. He deducted the amount of what I claimed was in the ad for using him. I would recommend him.

This was a quick install for a very fair price (I thought). Mark and his son were not only punctual, but EARLY! (Something I have never said before of a contractor.) I had spoken with Mark on the phone before regarding the new toilet we purchased (online) and he was worried that it would not fit the space we had in our bathroom. But as it turned out - plenty of room, and so far so good. Very pleased with their service and I will use them again in the future.

Mark and his son did a terrific job of rearing the burst pipe quickly. Their responsiveness was particularly gratifying.

Mark and his son, also a plumber, coordinated with the tiler. Mark offered the lowest price of the three or four plumbers we contacted. He returned calls promptly and was very courteous. They showed up on time, and finished early. I was particularly impressed by the fact that Mark read through the valve installation instructions, since it was a different brand and model from ones he'd installed before. I've seen other plumbers who just wing it and end up installing parts backwards. Everything went smoothly, and we were thoroughly satisfied. Would gladly hire Mark again.

When we email Mr. Adam about our sump pump, he responded right away. I told him that we want somebody to come and see to make sure that our sump pump is working because we are worried about all the snow melting and water might go to our basement. I asked him if he could give us an estimate of how much its going to cost if we need to replace it. He come up with the estimate and did the job right away. We think he did a good quality job and we will hire him again next time we need his services.

They were out very quickly and they got the job done right at a reasonable price. Another time when I had an emergency with a pipe that had bursted they talked me through turning off the water in my house. They just seem very trustworthy.

When he arrived, he noticed immediately that we had purchased a disposal that needed to be hardwired not plugged into the outlet under the sink. He told us that he would start the job and wait for us to go buy the right one. When my husband came back with the machine, Mark and his helper came out of their truck and finished the job. The switch saved us the cost of an electrician and allowed us to use our new sink right away.

Mark and his son came to my home precisely as scheduled. When I initially called, he had asked what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. When he arrived, he brought the necessary parts and was able to quickly and competently make the repair. He explained what he was doing and gave me some good general advice on maintenance and avoidance of freeze ups in very cold weather. Mark and his son cleaned up when the job was done. I applied a $25.00 Angie's List coupon to the job so that my cost was about 20% less than the estimate.

I have used this vendor about 3 times now and he always does what he says he's going to do and at the price he says.

I recommend Mark Adams plumbing - Mark Adams and his son came to my house to fix my toilet which was making a shrieking sound and waking everyone in the house up. They got there on time, were courteous, got the job done in record time and didn't even wake the sleeping baby in the next room. I appreciated the fact that they answered a lot of questions I asked about that job, as well as other questions about other potential issues I had, and were very informative and pleasant about it.
