I would like to give Mark a 100% positive review because he and his son worked hard. Their pricing was low compared to others. Mark made an extra visit to disconnect my old dishwasher at no extra charge. They were able to schedule the work soon after I called. They showed up on time, and always behaved professionally. Unfortunately the appliance installation work did not meet my expectations. The gas line extension that they ran was of high quality -- a simple run, well installed. After Mark left, my housemate and I discovered problems with the non-plumbing, appliance installation work: 1. The stove anti-tip bracket was installed a bit too close to the counter, and so was not properly engaging. 2, The hose clamp on the dishwasher drain was installed at the wrong position on the vendor-supplied adapter, causing a slow leak. 3. The front fascia plate was incorrectly installed: Instead of being secured to the dishwasher, the plate was placed on the floor in front of the unit. Screws intended to secure the plastic portion of the plate to the dishwasher were used to connect the metal portion to the plastic portion. The proper screws for this were found in the trash. 4. Mark warned me that the dishwasher might rock a bit side to side because the unit had only one foot in back. My housemate and I were able to correct these problems ourselves: 1. We re-measured and moved the Anti-Tip bracket. Along the way we routed the flexible gas line a little differently to have several gradual bends instead of one sharp bend. Although we expect one sharp bend was probably ok, our research said gradual bends were better. 2. I disassembled the drain adapter tree, moved things around a bit, and put the clamp where it was supposed to go. 3. We were very lucky that the incorrect screws did not damage the plastic fascia plate requiring replacement, but it was indeed luck. We put it together correctly. 4. While re-assembling the Fascia plate, we discovered instructions on front-to-back leveling. We re-positioned, re-leveled and re-secured the unit. After this, we found no rocking. In fairness, the instructions from the appliance vendor that led to these problem areas were poorly written, and horrendously designed. The dishwasher instructions were (and I wish I were making this up) on a single two-sided sheet of paper 33 inches by 25 inches in 9 point type with 24 steps. The instructions for the anti-tip bracket chose measuring points that made it very easy to make a mistake. Additionally, Mark and his son took great care to avoid hurting my wood floor in the kitchen as they installed the appliances. Nevertheless, my expectations were not met. I would have preferred that Mark involved me in solving the mysteries of the instructions rather than just pushing through with an installation that was flawed. The incomplete push back of the stove, the dripping of the drain line, the rocking of the dishwasher, and the lack of any attachment of the fascia plate were red flags Mark should have seen and acted on. I have shared this review with Mark Adams prior to submitting it to Angie's List. His response was professional.

Mark and his son arrived early for the appointment and called me to make sure that that was okay. The repair was made quickly and Mark took the time to show me where the water shut off valves were . The father and son team and both are very nice and courteous. While they were there I also purchased braided hoses for my washer from them and got those installed too I will definitely call them again for any further plumbing needs.

My experience with them was excellent. They responded quickly and performed the work in a professional manner. Their price was very reasonable. The workers were very efficient and cooperative. They also indicated to me that they prefer small jobs to large jobs which is a good thing to know. I intend to use them again.

I called around 0830 and was happy to hear that they would arrive between 12 and 1 pm that day. He was very courteous on the phone and was able to tell me the cost of the part and installation. They arrived at noon and the repair was made quickly. He even took the time to show me where the water shut off valves were and how you tell if they are off. This was helpful as I was not present during the home inspection when the house was purchase a few months ago. It is a father and son team and both are very pleasant, polite, and courteous. I will definitely call them again for any further plumbing needs! I also purchased braided hoses for my new washer from them and was able to use a coupon from Angie's list towards the service call.

While changing out our old kitchen faucet for a new one I just received, I found out that the old shutoff valves on the hot water line under the kitchen sink was broken and would not close completely. Because I could not shut it off I could not replace the faucet. I was also worried that if something happened to the older plumbing under the sink, I could not shut off the water in an emergency. I asked Mark to come out to replace the two shutoffs under the kitchen sink, and also replace the sink faucet with our new one while he was replacing the shutoffs. We also wanted to add a thermostatic valve (hot water mixing valve) on the outbound side of our new solar hot water tank allow us to increase the temperature of the stored water from the solar panels. This would, in effect increase the efficiency of the panel and give us more hot water since the higher temp hot water is now mixed with cold water to give the desired temp. I asked Mark to install one of those as well. Mark provided me with a quote over the phone that was higher than what I had initially expected but was in line with other quotes I received from other plumbers. He returned my calls promptly and was even willing to reschedule the appointment after I found out I had to travel unexpectedly for business. On the day of the final installation, he and Rob were prompt and very nice. I showed them the job locations in the house (one in basement and one in kitchen), as well as where the shutoffs were. They each took one of the jobs and finished the work very quickly. The work was very neat and high quality with great attention to detail. I was very pleased with the work they did and will certainly call them again for future work that we need done.

They came and completed both jobs in under one hour. Very pleasant, Very efficient.

Plumber arrived, removed old faucet. added new shutoff valves and replaced with new fauct provided. Very efficient and neat.

Mark arrived on time with his son. I explained the project and they offered some helpful advice. We needed to install a water line for a new fridge. The line had to be installed from the finished basement and run up through the floor into the kitchen. They tied the water line into the main line, which comes into the basement, and installed a shutoff valve. They completed the project quickly and without any issues. Because we are going to completely gut and refinish our basement next year, we were not concerned about the cosmetics of the project but Mark still made every effort to make all the work look clean and professional.

Mark responded in a timely fashion. Ended up having to call him for a few different emergency issues as well and he was there quickly.Mark was nice, pleasant and informative.

I was very impressed. I called Mark Adams in the afternoon and he was able to come out to our house then next day. He said he would arrive between 3:30 and 4:30pm and promptly at 3:25pm, he and his assistant arrived. I had called him to replace the shut off valve to our washing machine, which was broken. I had also mentioned in our phone conversation that I had a kitchen faucet and bathtub faucet that were leaking and wanted his opinion on. He fixed the washing machine valve very quickly and then looked at the bathtub and kitchen faucet. He was able to very quickly and easily fix the bathtub faucet. The kitchen faucet is old and of unknown brand and he advised that replacement parts would be difficult to come by and suggested we consider a new faucet. He showed me online examples of the types of faucets that would fit the space in our countertop. I was very pleased with his availability, punctuality, and professionalism. The price for the washing machine shut off valve and fixing the bathtub faucet was $200, and minus the $25 Angies list coupon, net price was $175.

During the quote Mark worked with me to arrive at the easiest way to get things done. When the day came, they arrived on time and got right to it. They were awesome! Very professional and the price was amazing for what was done. Mark had some goodies for my kiddies too, which was a bonus. Very much appreciated!

They arrived when they said they would, were not messy in their job, and even took the time to explain how some of the plumbing works which I appreciated. When they left, he handed me a 2013 small datebook which will definitely come in handy.

What an excellent experience! Mark and Rob came to fix a leaking pipe above my ceiling. Not knowing what they would find, I feared the worst...and 15-20 minutes later, it was fixed. I will highly recommend them to others, and should I need a plumber again, will call them immediately.

Mark Adams is a gentleman, an honest business man and a professional. He came to my home to repair the dishwasher and install a gas cook top on my granite counter. As it turns out, he did fix the dishwasher, however the gas top purchased was larger than the hole in the granite counter top. He told me not to worry about it, gave me a number of a company that could enlarge the hole, and after the hole was large enough, he returned to my home and replaced the gas cook top without charging me for a return visit. On another occasion, he came and replaced my hot water heater and found the most economical way to resolve all the issues surrounding the replacement of the water heater. He is always available to come back if there are any service problems and is quite responsive. Don't use anyone else! I was very sorry that I bought a BIG DEAL and it was no big deal at all. I should have stuck with the "sure" thing.

Mike and his son arrived promptly and quickly did the work and were even nice to my pets.

Mark returned my Sunday phone call and gave me clear counsel on my non-functioning water heater and the options available, and recommended one last ditch thing to check before replacing it, and that last thing made it work again. I meant to call him and thank him, but haven't yet, so this is my way of thanking him. I will be calling him again to help me replace the heater, which is at the end of its life expectancy.

I called several companies for rates / estimates. The most common rate was $110 per hour, starting when the truck left the office... and one company operated out of a fixed price book that put it above the others... Mark gave me an estimate over the phone of 250-300 bucks, depending on what they found when they did the work -- the wild card was a cartridge for the bath faucet, which would put the estimate at the higher end. When I booked with Mark, he gave me a set time - 9 am - as opposed to the several hour window that some other companies offered. He and his son were here right on time, started work quickly and efficiently, and completed everything within an hour or so. Having two of them here made it both speedy and smooth - while his son worked on the kitchen sink, Mark took care of the bathroom, tightening and resealing the toilet and replacing the cartridge in our Symmons unit in the tub.I am very pleased with the quality of their work and their overall professionalism. I would not hesitate to hire them again!

Left a message through Angie's List email service for Mark. He promptly called early the next morning to arrange to come the next day to repair a toilet. Quote a price. Called later in the day to say he could be there that afternoon. Showed up on time, finished the work and we paid exactly what we were quoted. We ware very happy with the work and would use them again.

I called Mark yesterday to set up the appt. and he was able to fit us in the next day. Mark was on time and completed the work quickly.

Mark and his soon showed up the morning of the call. They immediately set to work. After 45 five minutes the job was done. They FAR exceeded my expectations. Mark Adams Plumbing will be our plumbers for as long as we own a home in the area. They are fair and simply the best.

I was looking for someone to install a sink in my basement. Mark answered the call himself and gave me a ballpark estimate on the phone. He explained that, often, people think that such a job costs a lot less than it actually does and he didn't want to waste my (and his) time coming out to give an exact estimate if I wasn't ready for the expected costs. He detailed how the job is done to explain the expense. He estimated $1000-$1200. Mark was able to get the job done according to my tight schedule so I had him come out to look at the area. He said he could do the job for $1000, minus his Angie's List coupon of $25. This was less than the other estimates I received. It was still a lot of money but I think my zip code raises the price of everything... Mark did the job himself. He arrived an hour earlier than expected and things went very smoothly. I told him that I'm going to put a work table next to the sink and he took it upon himself to direct the drain pipes at an angle so the table could fit over them easily. Mark was very friendly and professional, from beginning to end. He didn't hesitate to explain things and I appreciated that. I will contact him again if a plumbing need arises.

A leak from an unidentified source had materialized in the seam of the tub/shower surround producing a drip of brown nasty water. I called Mike on Wednesday 5/30 and he answered on his cell phone. He promised to call that night to set up an appointment and did actually call that evening, promising to come out the next morning at 9 AM. On 5/31 as promised, Mike and his assistant arrived promptly at 9 AM. They quickly identified the leak as being from the diverter valve. They had the replacement part on their truck and installed it in a few minutes, without turning off the water supply. Mike was fastidious about picking up small bits of debris and left the work area clean.I gave him a check for $110. which included the $25.00 off coupon from the Angies Lists site.Mike Adams Plumbing is a professionally run operation that delivers on promises with quality work at a fair price. I will use them again if the need arises. I wish I'd used them instead of some other "bad" experiences in the past.

Next day response, professional conduct, efficient service. Only problem is one faucet started leaking a bit after a week or so. the shower and faucet on a second sink are fine.
