We are happy with Mark's work. He and his son make a great team. They give very prompt service, always do a thorough job. On this job, they made product recommendations and told us the least expensive way to get the toilets. Then they came to install these on one of their busiest days of the year--before Thanksgiving. They took care of it in short time and carted off the old toilets. I recommend them to anyone needing great plumbers.

Mark answered his phone immediately and was able to come over the next day. He and his son were very professional. They removed their shoes as soon as they realized that I had white carpets upstairs and had the job done quite quickly in spite of having to go out to get a part they needed. I appreciated not being told I "needed "(an expensive) "service package" to go along with the work completed. They accepted an Angie's list coupon I had which made the job less expensive so, all in all we were very happy. I will defiitely call them next time the plumbing gives us problems

We asked Mark for a second bid on replacing an on demand hot water heater. He took the request by phone and was back with an estimate the next day. The only reason we didn't choose him was that the bids we received were identical and the first bidder had already been to our house once on an emergency call regarding the old, failing on demand hot water heater. I would definitely call and employ Mark Adams Plumbing if I needed a plumber. He was courteous, prompt, professional.

Mark and his son arrived on time did the job, cleaned up. They had to come twice due to the broken watertank of the toilet I bought. They are pleasant and professional. I wished we had found the m sooner.

Mark and his son, Rob were very punctual, arriving at the agreed-upon time. The price that Mark quoted sounded quite fair, and I gave him the OK to proceed with the work. He supervised while son Rob cut out old metal piping and trap, and replaced same with PVC. The entire job took less than an hour, and as I also requested, Mark also capped an existing PVC pipe in the basement, from which sewer gas was entering the house, and he glued together a loose joint to a PVC exhaust pipe. I would definitely contact Mark for any future plumbing needs.

Mark is a great plumber. I've called him for issues multiple times in the past few months and he's been incredibly responsive and helpful. Definitely knows his stuff. I did find their prices a little higher than some competitors, but am willing to pay for his quality as I'm definitely satisfied with his work.

You can tell that Mark Adams Plumbing takes pride at what they do. They are very professional and outstanding. They were just terrific. They did a terrific job.

Mark returned our call on Sunday, and was helpful and flexible in scheduling an appointment for Wednesday. After his service (which was about one hour), he fully explained what was done, and was able to diagnose why we had been hearing whooshing water within the past week. Fast, knowledgeable, dependable.

I called Mark to request an estimate and he arrived within the hour. (He happened to be in the neighborhood). He gave me estimates for a couple of options. Once I'd cleared the work with my home owner's association, I called him and scheduled the work. Mark and his son arrived on time and finished early. The cost was exactly what he'd told me it would be. Mark and his son came by a week later to plug the old vent and to do a minor plumbing chore for me, gratis. I highly recommend them.

They came promptly to give an estimate. I returned a call to set up an appointment. They came on time and finished in a timely manner, replacing the drain and nipple which was corroded. They showed me the old parts as well as the new ones.

Mark gave me the best quote out of the 6 contractors I called. The water-heater he installed also had the longest waranty. Came at scheduled time. I am planning to use if for additional work as he was the best contractor I have worked with. Professional to the core

I removed the drain from our tub and then I couldn't get it back in. I called Mark, and he sent his son Rob to take a look at it the same day. Rob's assessment was that the threads on the drain piece were probably stripped, and he recommended a couple parts stores that might have a replacement. Because the part was very old (probably at least 30 years) it was not the same size as the standard drains today, so we were unable to find a replacement part. I called Mark back, and a few days later Rob came back out to replace the entire drain. Initially, he was unsure if he would be able to perform the work easily, but he finished in a few hours, and the cost was at the low end of the estimated range he had given us. Rob and Mark were both professional and responsive throughout the process.

I called Mike andleft him a voice mail about my problem. He called back in about a half hour and we talked about my shower issue. He asked me several questions about the hot water in other areas of the house. He let me know what he thought the issue was (shower mixing cylinder) and the cost of the replacement. I asked him if he could also replace the faucet and the shower head, as they were old too. He said he could tht as well and that the cost for all of the work (including parts) would be $285. I agreed to the work and he was able to scheduled me that afternoon -- which was wonderful. He and his son Rob arrived on time and set right to work. Turned off the main water, made the repairs, cleaning up everything as they worked. The water was turned back on and we tested the hot water in the tub and out of the shower head. Real Hot Water immediately out of the shower! I was very excited... it was fabulous to have it fixed so quickly! Both Mike and his son were personable, attentive, professional and efficient. Mike also discussed my interest in the hot water on demand system as a possible future project. I would definitely use them again.

Overall, I was very impressed with the quick and professional service I received. I would call them again for any plumbing need.

Mark was quick to respond and he and his son cam and performed the work. Both were nice guys and the work was done well and at a reasonable price. I would recommend them for any plumbing job and plan on using them again if the need arises. i

We hired Mark for two jobs. The first was installation of a water heater I purchased. He came when expected and performed the work without difficulty. The only problem I noticed was that the unit was shimmed with wooden shims. It's obviously quite heavy, so I'm leary about this moving in the future. Also, I wish he would have recommended placing the unit in a slightly higher location of the basement. Others in the trades have subsequently noted it's not in the best location, in case we were to have a flood. The second job involved shortening a length of baseboard heat. The job went OK until I noticed the new hole they drilled into our hardwood floor to accomodate the new pipe--it was much too large for the pipe. When I complained about this, Mark said that the size of the hole was necessary for expansion of the pipe. If the pipe were to expand this much, it would burst!!! I'm now looking to find some wooden escushen plates to fit around it. Also part of the rim joist they needed to cut into could have been done with more skill. And, I think his son (his helper) broke a workman's light of mine, since I found it in pieces after the job. It was probably only $15, but I thought it would have been good if I was at least informed.

I have employed Mark several times (whenever there is a plumbing issue). He is my go-to plumber, and have recommeded his services to others.

My girlfriend's kitchen sink would somtimes emit a smell. We found out this could be due to there not being a P Trap under the sink. We called Mark and he was able to visit a few days later. He showed up on time and was very professional, informative and nice. He did the work to add the Trap and replace the Faucet in no time at all. He originally quoted $300 over the phone and came in well under that (along with the Angie's list coupon). I am 100% satisfied and would call him anytime.

Mark did a great job. His quote was the lowest I received (the others were very close, though). He showed up exactly when he said he would, did the job efficiently, answered my questions clearly, left my house just as he found it, and was very pleasant and easy to work with. I'd use him again in a heartbeat.

Mark is great. We have used his services on numerous occasions and have always been satisfied. In this case he helped to disconnect an old gas stove and hook up a new one after it was delivered by a major appliance store.

Mark came same day I called and with in 45 minutes him and his son had the water heater installed. Needless to say we are very happy to have hot water again. We would highly recommend Mark Adams Plumbing.

I had never met Mark or his son, Rob, before I saw their names on Angie's List but, boy, I would recommend them in a heartbeat. For one thing, Mark almost always answers the phone himself (the one time he didn't was on a Saturday, but he quickly returned my call). For another thing, he'll be there when he says he'll be there, at the agreed-upon time. I mean EXACTLY on time. There wasn't any of this "between the hours of six and twelve" nonsense. Because of Hurricane Sandy I had been without electricity, heat or hot water for nearly three whole days when I called him, so that in itself was comforting. On the initial visit Mark accepted the Angie's List coupon. The visit was pretty straightforward -- replacing the thermocouple on the water heater and lighting the pilots on that and the boiler. That visit was $120, including the $25 coupon. He advised me to replace the water heater and showed me the corrosion on the outside and the installation date, which was ten years earlier. He went over the different types of water heaters and prices for my particular venting configuration. I called Mark about ten days later and he and Rob came over that same day with a new heater. During the visit he called in a specialist to disconnect the existing field control unit (he told me about this before he did it and I agreed to it) and Mark did end up charging me for it. However, it was a cost that Mark had not foreseen, it was necessary to the project, and did not affect the total cost ($1790, including disposing the original water heater) by much. A couple of days ago I again lost heat and called Mark. He told me he was on another job but would swing by to take a look at it. He told me the pilot light was out (and told me he'd show me how to light it, if I felt comfortable, so I wouldn't have to pay for service calls in the future). The pilot light would not stay on so he replaced the thermocouple on the boiler and charged $135. Later on that same evening he called and left a message to make sure I had heat. Tell me, who does that these days? I told Mark and Rob I hoped never to see them again (but I wouldn't hesitate to have them back). Thanks, guys.

Water was shooting out the seam of a water shutoff valve in the basement on a Sunday. I turned off the water main and then started calling and leaving messages for plumbers. Mark called back within two hours and checked to see if we still needed services, but we had already booked another provider by that time. It turned out that they were unable to help, so we ended up calling Mark back later that evening. He said he would be able to come by next morning. He arrived with another person twenty minutes early and they replaced the valve in about ten minutes. They explained what they were doing and were very professional.

Contacted by email through Angie's list, never heard from them. Unknown if they are still in business, or maybe they just didn't want to do my project.

Replaced toliet in upstairs bathroom. The toilet is working well. Came on time and was responsive when needed to retrun to reseal the tolitet
