We contacted Mark Adams plumbing based on the Angie's List reviews. Our drain broke on a Saturday, but the situation wasn't an emergency, so in my message, I had asked him to call us at his earliest convenience and had stated that Monday was fine. He contacted us on Monday and told my husband that he wouldn't have time in the near future to come out, but he told my husband, who has no real plumbing experience, how to handle the problem. My husband performed the action recommended by Mark, and it fixed the issue. Mark then called back later in the day to see if it worked. While Mark didn't physically perform the work, he was able to correct the issue via consultation, thus saving us a lot of money and demonstrating his skill and professionalism at the same time. Our first call will be to Mark Adams for any future plumbing issues.

We had a shower/tub/hand shower system that had broken over time and needed to be replaced. Mark helped us through the whole process, from choosing the right trim to his excellent workmanship in getting the work done. Mark and his son showed up on time, were professional and worked efficiently to get the job done. They were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.

Mark called me back within a few hours and gave me an explanation of what could be wrong and the estimate to repair the problem. Mark and his son showed up promptly at the given time of the appointment and were courteous and professional. The problem was repaired quickly and at the price that was quoted to me. Mark proved to be very knowledgeable. They did the job quickly and cleaned up after themselves . I would recommend this outfit to anyone that asks and I will positively use them again in the future.

I had water leaking into the ceiling of the basement, causing the the wood and drywall to rot and mold. I called Mark Adams and instead of just scheduling a call to come and diagnose and repair the problem, he very graciously talked me through diagnosing the problem myself. This saved a lot of time and money. Once I had discovered the problem was the first floor toilet, he was able to schedule me in within a day and a half, when his son came down and fixed the leak (the timing was not critical, as it didn't leak if I simply did not use the toilet). They both were very friendly and professional, quick to respond, and the price was very affordable. I will definitely contact them in the future if needed.

Mark answered the phone when I initially called and I provided him with details of the leak. He agreed to come out to the house the following day at a specified time. He suggested that I check out the possiblity of leaking pipes/valve via a wall cut out, which eliminated that possibilty. To miminize his time on site, I cut out a section of the lower ceiling, and confirmed that the shower drain was indeed leaking. We had several conversationsduring this short period of time, and each time he personally answered the phone. Mark and his son arrived on time and quickly fixed the leak. He also suggested that I provide additional support for the pipes to prevent further movement. Mark was very responsive and professional. I would use him again without reservation.

It went well. They were able to replace the worn pipes and made sure everything involving the entire line was in good condition. I would not hesitate to hire them for future plumbing needs.

Mark was great. He showed up on time with his son. They divided the work -- Mark replaced my faucent and his son did the outdoor repair on my irrigation system. They worked quickly, efficiently and neatly. Also, very nice and personable. The final price was under what he quoted me by phone. I will absolutely call him again if I need further work and would recommend him completely and without reservation.

Mark arrived on time and finished sooner than I had expected. Did a professional job and cleaned everything up.. This is the second time we've used Mark Adams Plumbing to fix a problem in the past 2 weeks. 1) To install a toilet 2) Replace a kitchen faucet. Would definitely use his services again. I called Mark as I had water running out of the ceiling from my second floor shower. I thought it was the drain pipe. Instead of taking my word for it (hey, I'm not a plumber) Mark had me dump a lot of water down the drain (without the shower head on) to see if this was the case and low and behold it wasn't the drain pipe. He was able to come out the next day, calling ahead to see if he could come a little earler than the scheduled time (good for me as I was working). He fixed the shower valve and now I don't have water pouring out of my ceiling! Responsive, fast, professional, and courteous! Price was very reasonable.

Mark was extremely responsive. We spoke briefly, then scheduled the service that night. He was able to do the installations within 2 days. Mark's pricing was very reasonable; some local service providers bid nearly 3 times as much! Angie's List members should be careful always to get bids, even for something as trivial as a toilet installation or faucet washer change. Mark also suggested a better (and much cheaper) way to clean up some flanges on the water supply pipe. Other plumbers stated that I would have to replace an entire pipe and valve to do this. A simple clip-on flange cap accomplishes the same goal for only a few dollars. Mark is quick, friendly, reasonably priced, practical, helpful and competent. What more can you ask for?

He was prompt, professional, and courteous. It took him only 20 minutes to get the job done. I thought his pricing was fair.

I called Mark and left a message that my main shutoff valve was leaking. Not a bad leak, but a steady one that I was worried would grow worse. Mark called back and said he could stop by in an hour. Mark and his son arrived exactly when he'd said. He was quickly able to fix the leak but also took the time to explain why it was leaking and ways to prevent it in the future. This was a part of out powder room renovation. (I am sorry for the late review.) We are very pleased with the job Mark and his son have done. They both are highly professional, honest, and friendly. I would certainly recammend them.

Mark returned my call promptly, was able to come over within days (non-emergency installation), came within the window he gave me, and was friendly and professional.

I wish I could give these guys an A++. We're first-time homeowners, and within a month of moving in we had our first homeowner nightmare-come-true: water dripping through the kitchen ceiling, and no idea where it was coming from. We looked on Angie's list and ended up calling Mark, who came out the next day and gave us some tricks to try to pin down the source of the leak. He returned the following day, localized the leak to a toilet on the 2nd floor that was rocking on its base, and replaced the toilet's seal. Voila, no more leak. He only charged for the second visit. We've called him a couple other times with questions/concerns, and he has given us advice over the phone for things we can try, stating that if that doesn't work he'll come take a look. So far, the advice has been spot on. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Mark and his apprentice came over less than 24 hours after I called to schedule the appointment. After a failed attempt at installing the faucet myself (and nearly flooding my condo), I was terrified to touch the thing. Mark arrived on time and less than 20 minutes later he and his apprentice had the new faucet in and ready to go -- even though they'd never seen the brand of faucet that I ordered! They were really nice guys, prompt, and their prices are very fair. I'm absolutely calling Mark the next time I need a plumber!

On the morning of June 30th I noticed that my gas hot water heater (14 years old) was leaking. It appeared to be the tank. I turned off the gas and water supply and called Mark Adams, who I have used previously for plumbing work. Mark called me back later that day, asked a few questions, reviewed the replacement options and costs and said he would do the replacement the next day. I also mentioned that I had some other, less pressing, issues to take care of and he said he would look those items over for me. Mark showed up promptly the next day, did the repairs I requested, except for two faucet replacements for which he had to get replacement parts. The faucets were replaced one week later, as scheduled. Mark and his son are excellent plumbers and genuinely nice guys. They show up on time, are neat and explain what has to be done. Their pricing is fair and competitive. I would use them again and recommend them without reservation.

Mark was, and to this day is, the most professional, responsive and fair subcontractor I have ever dealt with. I have worked in the construction industry for 15 years and with this project at my own home, it was a real pleasure to work with Mark. I have recommended him to numerous friends and colleagues since his services.

Very well. They were able to come within a day or two of my call and fixed the problem right away.

I initially called for a slow draining bathroom sink which I thought might have been caused by my amateur replacing of the piping when I replaced the sink. He thought the drain needed cleaning out but asked me to send him a pix of the pipe work just to make sure. Pipe work was fine and gave me the number of a small company that he has a relationship with. They came 3 hours after the call, cleaned the drain and the sink works beautifully. I set and appointment to have my 2 outside faucets replaced and the disposal looked into. Arrived promptly. Did a great job at a reasonable price. What I like about this company is that when you call he answers, takes the information says he'll call back at a certain time and he does. A real pleasure to do business with.

In a word - outstanding. I hired Mark for a new bathroom install in my basement. He and his son worked with me through the design phase, offering feedback and advice on how to make the job go easier, and were more than willing to work on my schedule and to accommodate last-minute changes and requests. They were always punctual, professional, and cleaned up at the end of the day. The difference between Mark Adams Plumbing and the other plumbing contractors I've used is like night and day. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend then. They were very professional and came out on time. They are very prompt with the appointments.
