He worked for 2 solid hours and will be coming back later on to cut into the pipe. He was very efficient, and tried everything he could to get the job done. He cleaned up after himself well.

Mark and his son showed up on time and quickly installed everything. Everything went smoothly.

Mark came by the next day, at the time he said he'd come. He was professional and fun. He removed the toilet, fixed the seal, gave us some advice on what to do/how to fix the damage and gave us a very fair price. Outstanding service! We will be going back to him over and over again (hopefully for changes and not more repairs!)

The hot water in one bathroom shower failed some time ago. Another plumber could not diagnose the problem and suggested I call the heating firm that installed my new oil burner/tankless hot water system. Heating-firm man came, could not find anything wrong. They both charged me. I was discouraged and gave up. After some time had passed I realized I had to do something, so I consulted Angie's List and called Mark Adams Plumbing. They came promptly and spent about 2 hours trying to pinpoint the problem. Finally they diagnosed it, ordered the new part and installed it a few days later. While they were here they also repaired a faulty toilet. The hot water is fine now. As a recently widowed senior, I am very much relieved.

They are amazing. They had a great price for the work that was done. They didn't charge me a huge amount for the work because they were able to figure out what the problem was very early on. So, as apposed to going to maybe $600 to $800, it came to under $100. I also got pricing from other contractors, he was about one-fourth of the cost and was able to work me within his day. That's one of the things that really surprised me, where you're looking at multiples compared to pricing and timing. And he gave a estimate before coming back. They were actually driving past where I live and they just popped in, gave an estimate, understood what they needed and came back next day and did the job. He was great. It was amazing experience. I was super happy and it just made a difficult situation so much better. I would definitely use them again without thought.

The cold water handle flew off and a geyser erupted in my bathroom at 1:00 am when I was brushing my teeth after a long day, so I shut the water valve off and called Mark later that morning. (Mark has done various plumbing jobs in my house over the last 3 1/2 years.) He told me to buy the fixture myself rather than have him buy it, to save some money. Unfortunately, I went for the Martha Stewart faucet on special for 1/2 price at Home Depot, which had a little more cachet than the more utilitarian-looking Delta and American Standard brands that Mark had recommended. It turned out to be a piece of junk. The handles and faucet were pretty, but the inner workings were cheap. Rather than install it just to have it break, Mark replaced the cheap plastic parts with stainless steel fittings he had in his truck at no extra charge. Once I had purchased the fixture, I called Mark and he and his son Rob arrived that same afternoon. All work was done in about an hour. Mark happened to notice the Angie's List magazine on my coffee table, and told me he had an online coupon through Angie's List for $25 off of a plumbing repair. I printed it out as I was writing the check, and only had to pay $120 for a $145 job! Also, on this same visit, I asked Mark to check why the hot water in my shower only stays hot for about two minutes before turning lukewarm. He went down into the basement and explained to me how my hot water heater works better than anyone else ever had. A simple adjustment to the shower mixer knob over the tub fixed the problem. Thanks to Mark and Rob, we can brush our teeth and take hot showers again! Mark and his son(s) are a great team. Very reliable, personable, and professional. I highly recommend.

I have an old house. Consequently each and every time work is performed it can be quite a challenge. These guys were up to the task. When confronted with a problem they could have saddled me with much more expense and quite a bit more work. But they chose instead to come up with a creative solution that not only worked but saved me a boatload of money in the process. They were professional, efficient and timely. Can't say enough good things.

I had a huge crack on the base of my toilet and water started to leak out of the bottom of the base. I shut off the water to my toilet and called Mark on 3/5 at 8:00 AM. I have another bathroom that I could use so it was not an emergency. Mark said he could be at my house on Thursday 3/6 between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. He arrived promptly at 12:05 and by 12:30 I had a new toilet installed. Great service with a smile and would definitely hire him again. He and his son are so professional and super nice people.

Initial contact included returned calls and emails. Was able to send him pictures of the mechanical room so that he would know how much space he was dealing with. He arrived promptly for the job and completed it in a timely and neat manner. The cost matched his original estimate. When I notified him after the job of a possible gas leak, he and his son showed up immediately the next day to tighten all connections and to assure us that there was no leak. My only complaint was that he ignored the $25 coupon off the first job. I just considered that a tip.

Called late Friday and had an appt. for Monday morning! Mark and his son are nice guys, easy to talk to and very informative. Definitely will be calling them back when we refinish our basement bathroom!

Mark and his son did a great job at fixing my leaky tub. Mark is very professional, punctual, reliable, and keeps his commitments. He was able to take care of the entire job including getting the right help to remove the ceiling, fixing the plumbing issue, and re-building the ceiling while keeping the disruption to a minimum. I highly recommend Mark to anyone who needs a hassle free professional service.

I got him off of Angie's List and he was fabulous. He answered the phone right away. He showed up on time. He was pleasant, neat and clean. He fixed the problem right away. He was very polite. I have his card and if I have any plumbing issues I have no other problems about hiring him again. He is just a nice guy. His price was fair.

I called Mark late on a Sunday evening after discovering that my sump pump was broken and water was beginning to accumulate in the basin. He called back early Monday morning and arrived a short time thereafter to remove the old unit and replace it with a new one. He quickly and efficiently resolved our crisis. He came back a week later to install a battery backup system. Mark and Rob were a pleasure to work with. They are pleasant, courteous and patiently explain to an ignorant like myself customer exactly what is happening, what the options are and how much each will cost. These gentleman are completely reliable and do excellent work. I strongly recommend them.

Mark and Rob were prompt and professional. Their pricing was reasonable, Mark was very responsive re scheduling matters, and they both were very understanding when we ran into delays with our granite installation. Though we ended up having to pay a little extra for extra plumber visits due to the granite problems, Mark and Rob were there for us, and I definitely would recommend them to others.

Professional. Father and son showed up on time (kept me informed of time as needed). Replaced with Toto toilet. Although priced higher than two other estimates, only one who could do job in a timely fashion, furnish new toilet, remove old toilet, so can't complain too much about price. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Mark called back the day I called. He had me explain the issues I was having and then explained what the work would probably entail and how long it might take. I set up an appointment for a day that was convenient for the both of us. He showed up on time and fixed both problems in about an hour and half at a very reasonable price. He was very professional and pointed out some maintenance that I should bring up with my oil supplier regarding my oil burner.

I could not be happier with the service and quality of work I received from Mark Adams Plumbing and his associates. I originally left a message when I first contacted him and he responded before the end of the day. We made an appointment for the next day and he showed up exactly when he said he would. He was able to recognize the issues I was having with my upstairs shower and downstairs toilet immediately. He then went straight to the store, got the parts he needed and fixed both of those issues on the spot. We then set up a future date for the heat installation in our downstairs. Again, he showed up exactly on the date and time we had agreed to. He was able to complete the job in a day and the quality of work was excellent. The cuts in the wall were done cleanly and evenly, the pipe was run neatly and they cleaned up after themselves. In addition, the electrician that was sent by Mark Adams to install the thermostat was equally as reliable. He showed up exactly when he said he would, he was friendly and informative, his quality of work was excellent and he too went about it neatly. And through it all Mark kept in touch with me making sure I was pleased with work and seeing if I had any problems or concerns. Excellent service. Excellent quality of work. Highly recommended.
