The work was explained in advance and pictures were taken at that time. When the work was completed everything was cleaned and pictures were taken of the repairs. The work was competent and expert.

Mr. Handyman replaced a door and its moulding/trim inside our home. The initial repair was mediocre but acceptable. Over time problems began to emerge with the moulding and threshold. Even though I didn't contact them about the problems until a year later, within a couple days they scheduled someone to redo the job at no charge to me and the final results were great. Even though the initial job wasn't done well, they took care of the problem with zero hassle. They made good on everything—and that's what counts. I'll definitely hire them again!

Mark was wonderful and did his job excellent. He was such a wonderful friendly and honest man. He was great about everything. He came to my house just before Thanksgiving and it was already filled with family. Kids, Dogs and People all over the place and he bonded with everyone

I was approached by an online instant chat service when I started reading about "Mr, Handyman". I initiated conversation thinking I was reaching the individual service company representative. After explaining the service I was seeking in detail, I was asked for my contact information, so that I could be routed to the appropriate party. I didn't get to the point of hiring anyone. This service appears to be a referral service, or franchise (although, I can't be sure which, or if either). This method initial communication was turn-off to me, because any company that is is listed on Angie's List (in my opinion) should have company-specific reviews (not global reviews for "Mr. Handyman", since each company will provide service to the customer differently (good or bad). Granted, the reviews MAY be for the "Metrowest Mr. Handyman", but, I can't be sure now. I lost faith in being able to rely on the reviews of "Mr. Handyman", given the circumstances under which the firm is represented here.

Quality of work done was good, but took handyman significantly longer than one would expect to install a basement window (nearly 5 hours for window alone). Customer service and handyman were both polite and responsive. My original appointment had to be rescheduled, so I had to arrange to work from home two separate days. Unsure if would use again for smaller tasks.

I've been very happy with him. It was much less expensive than if I had to call a locksmith. He was very responsive. I called and they responded immediately. They came out the next day and fixed the front door. He was very personable and on time. He did a great job.
