Description of Work: Emergency holiday (Christmas Eve) cleanout of my blocked main sewer line. He snaked out the tree roots all the way to the main in the street, then cleaned up and sanitized the work area.

Description of Work: Brian installed a garbage disposal in my sink after a penny got stuck underneath the blades of the old one. Brian has done a lot of work for me over the years, including water heater installation and shower repair. He is an excellent plumber and I think his rates are reasonable. I would recommend him highly to anyone!

Description of Work: Brian brought and installed 2 40 gallon Rudd water heaters. He also removed the old tanks.

+ -1 moreTHE OWNER CAME, REMOVED THE OLD WASHER AND SHOWED ME IT WAS CRACKED. HE PLACED A NEW WASHER, BUT THE TOILET CONTINUED TO RUN. HE TOLD ME WE HAD AN OLD MODEL OF TOILET, THAT THE PART HOLDING THE WASHER WAS BROKEN AND WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. HE DIALED A PLUMBING SUPPLY STORE AND TOLD ME THAT THEY CONFIRMED THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE. HE URGED ME TO BUY A NEW TOILET FOR $300, AND IF I DID NOT DO IT RIGHT AWAY (IT WAS FRIDAY), THAT WE WOULD BE WITHOUT THE TOILET FOR SEVERAL DAYS. I DECLINED. HE TURNED OFF THE WATER TO THE TOILET AND CHARGED FOR THE VISIT BUT DID NOT LEAVE US THE NEW WASHER. MY HUSBAND LATER FOUND THE OLD WASHER, STUFFED DOWN WITHIN THE DRAIN, KEEPING THE PART FROM SITTING PROPERLY. MY HUSBAND BOUGHT A NEW WASHER, AND THE TOILET NOW WORKS FINE. AT THE SAME PLUMBING STORE THE OWNER SAID HE HAD CALLED, WE SHOWED THE PART THE PLUMBER HAD SAID WAS NO LONGER MADE AND WERE TOLD IT COULD BE ORDERED IN WITHIN A COUPLE DAYS.

Description of Work: ABC ADVERTISES EMERGENCY SERVICE, WITHIN 1 HOUR. I CALLED FOR A PLUMBING EMERGENCY. AFTER NO RESPONSE TO MY FIRST CALL (1 1/2 HOURS) I CALLED AGAIN. I FINALLY RECEIVED A CALL. THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD TOO MUCH WORK AND SHOULD CALL ANOTHER PLUMBER. I THINK THEY SHOULD CHANGE THEIR ADVERTISING TO MORE ACCURATELY REFLECT THE SERVICE THEY CAN OR CANNOT OFFER.
