Description of Work: After trying to contact a number of garage door contractors, Mortland Overhead Door got back to me immediately. The owner came out the following day and replaced parts in our garage door opener. Would certainly use Mortland again in the future. Very professional.

Description of Work: They came out to service an old garage door that had been getting stuck opening and closing. They arrived on time and were very friendly and knowledgeable. While they did suggest the door is very old and could probably be replaced, they were not at all pushy and understood that as of right now we just wanted it to open and close for very limited use (our garage does not hold cars). We will absolutely choose Mortland when we decide it is time to replace the door.

Description of Work: Made an appointment for 430-500, left work early and on my way home received a call that he came by and no one was home, he came by at 330. Receptionist told me she would call me back, never called back. I called twice no answer. Don't waste your time!

Description of Work: I had a few estimates and the guys from Mortland came in with the best price at the best door options. They were great to work with and I strongly recommend them. They went above and beyond even adjusting the window panel to show us a couple of different looks. Fantastic guys!

Description of Work: They have done work for us in the past. They put in a new opener when the really old one burned out. This time they repaired the door as it would not close. It required only a small and quick adjustment, so they only charged me half the normal service call.

Description of Work: Repair of 1 year old automatic garage door motor Tried Another company first: My automatic garage door opener would not open (had been opening partially for a couple of days and then just died) - I called another garage door company (will provide a separate review for them) who "diagnosed" the problem over the phone in 30 seconds and was convinced I needed to replace everything for around $400. Despite my request for them to come out and take a look before they rushed to judgment - "maybe it could be fixed?" they were convinced it was going to be a major job. Also, they said that they do not give free estimates (despite the statement to that effect on their website) - "free estimates were for new installations, not for repairs". Mortland Doors I remembered that Mortland Doors had installed the system about 11 years ago (found their sticker on the unit) so I decided to give them a call. They came out on a Saturday (THANK YOU!) and were able to repair the door opener motor - all for $160! It's been two weeks and everything works perfectly. The door functions smoothly, is quiet, and I feel secure that it will work for years to come! Special kudos to Dan the technician who was a wonderful representative of the company. He was cheerful, courteous, neat and extremely patient. He explained how everything works, inspected all pulleys for tension and safety, and even nailed down a loose section of rubber weather stripping on the garage - he truly went above and beyond my expectations for service! I am delighted with the service I received from Mortland Overhead Doors and wholeheartedly recommend them.
