When the 2 guys came out they were nice. Walked outside and came back to tell me they had to add freon. I asked if there might be a leak. I was told that each year freon just might go low. The very next day it was warm in my house. We called back on a Saturday and spoke with the person on call. He asked us if the guys checked for a leak inside. I told him no. He said that there was probably a leak in the attic coils and they would be at our house first thing Monday morning. I asked if we could continue to run the a/c and was told yes. No one showed up Monday. We called Tuesday. We were told someone would be there Wednesday. No one showed up. No one showed up on Thursday or Friday either. By Thursday we had NO a/c at all working. We still could not get them out there. We finally got Airtech out and we were told that we blew the transformers because we ran it with no freon. The leak was in the attic coils. This resulted in us having to purchase a new outside unit. I called Angelles when I found out that running the a/c unit caused it to blow. I was "greeted" by the owner on the phone yelling at me. He had been on vacation the week before and did not know what was going on. He was very rude to me and even yelled at me telling me that I should have known not to run the a/c unit. I explained that his employees told me the unit was fine, just having a hard time keeping up, that all a/c units struggled this time of the year. He refused to refund my money for the entire call but later sent a $40 check. Small consultation considering they cost me $1,800 for the outside unit. My score is a big fat 'F'
Description of Work: Called because a/c was not cooling properly. They came out, looked at the outside unit and said it took "a little" freon. I was told that it is hot outside and air conditioners just can not keep up.
