We contacted several companies to provide proposals, and was totally impressed with Don B's initial 1-1/2 hour walk thru process to propose a bed design and plant selection options. The competition spent all of 10 min. Then there was a followup meeting at the office to finalize bed design, plant selection, construction schedule, budget and payment terms. The crew was excellent. Steadily working in all that heat and ensuring that the site was cleaned up each evening. They asked for layout clarification when warranted and finished the work on schedule. The plants were installed during the heat of the summer and only one out of hundreds of plants didn't survive... but was replaced with a more suitable selection. Several supervisors and the owner visited the site upon completion to ensure I was satisfied. Bottomline. I have dealt with many contractors over the last year and a half with varied results. My experience with Green Escapes was excellent.

The work Green Escapes has completed for me is high quality and exceeds my always exceeds my initial expectations. Their team is very professional and polite, they keep the areas they're working in clean and neat as the perform the work and once completed you can expect a full review with them to address any concerns - a turn key operation...

They excavated and leveled the yard, so that it had a slight and natural slope toward the street. They also installed a French drain around our patio, which drains out to the sidewalk. They made everything pretty again with sod and mulch, once the drainage work was done. Now, our yard drains PERFECTLY. No more standing water or mud!

Everything went extremely well. Don was courteous and was great to work with. The staff was punctual and did a great product all around. Communication was also great with them. It was a little pricey but the quality of the work stands behind that price.

If I could rate Green Escapes higher than an A then I would. We interviewed several landscaping companies but as soon as we met with Don Broussard we knew that we wanted to go with him. Everything was professional from start to finish and any and all issues were resolved quickly. Don was able to hit our budget right on the head while getting us everything that we asked for. These guys showed up on time and even got my job done ahead of time. We will use them again in the future.

Everything turned out beautifully. It met my expectations. We were very pleased with tree shaping, directions followed completely. Office staff is very nice to work with and I like talking and working with owner and that's what I got. We liked them so much that we are giving them a year under contract to see if they continue to do as good a job as they did to start with. I highly recommend this company.

The guys at Green Escapes transformed my front yard. The flower-beds were overgrown with weeds and grass. The estimating guy came by for a free estimate and explained in detail what he could do bring my stuff up to date. Our agreement, deal, and estimate came out to exactly what we agreed on and the work came out accordingly.

Don was great to work with from the first site visit through job completion. His proposal was well prepared and described all aspects of the work to be performed. The office staff were all very courteous and a pleasure to speak with on the phone. His assigned site supervisor was very knowledgeable and took time with me to review exactly how I envisioned the final outcome should be. The project start was delayed due to massive rains that plagued the area for weeks but Don stayed in touch and when things began drying up his crews quickly mobilized. Unfortunately the project start caught me out of town but I felt confident the scope was clear and they even sent me photos when the flatwork began to get my approval. No ancillary damage to the surrounding yard or surfaces was experienced and all debris and trash was removed. One could not tell they had been there except for the new improvements! The final outcome looks great and I hope to have other projects for Don and his team in the future.

They were just prompt, did what they said they were going to do for the amount they said they were going to do, for when they said they were going to do it. The work turned out fine. My interaction with them was very good.

Don actually started the project ahead of schedule, therefore finishing ahead of schedule. Don helped us make informed decisions on the various aspects of our landscape project to stay within our budget, educating us on what is more critical today vs what can be installed at a later date. For instance, we really wanted landscape lighting, but Don cautioned us that landscape irrigation is a more critical item to install now, and lighting can be installed at a later date. Some of these things sound obvious, but when you are in the moment, instant gratification (landscape lighting) is what we were leaning towards, and we are grateful for his guidance to go with irrigation. His team was very professional, and left my place in better upkeep than when they arrived. Don or his office asst. would call with any schedule changes or changes in size of plants due to supply/demand. Due to the amount of material being moved to the back yard, and eventhough they used mats to protect my grass, the machine did cause ruts in my side/front yard. Instead of just leaving it, they spread sand in the ruts and did all they could to fix the damage that was expected. Overall a great experience, and we highly recommend them for landscape work. They may not be the cheapest, but as you have probably hard......good work is not cheap, and cheap work is not good!

Contacted Green Escapes after I got their name and number from Angie's list and a positive review from a neighbor. The partner came out and I reviewed with him what I wanted done, at which time he told me he would turn around an estimate in a couple of days. A week or so later I received an estimate that was too high and when I contacted them about revising the scope of work to fall in line with the budget I had I was told his prices were fair, so my son and I did the work we could do ourselves. We ended up doing it at a fraction of the cost and was happy with the results. This summer I had another landscaping service that I found on Angie's List perform the work I could not do myself and was very pleased with the work.

From the beginning, Don Broussard was punctual and willing to listen. The entire group is creative and willing to make accommodations based on your needs. The initial sketch was too extravagant for my budget but we worked together to get it down to where I needed it to be. They were always punctual in their meetings and the workers that were in the yard were always professional and worked diligently throughout the day. The job was completed in a timely fashion and the product looks great. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to do projects in their yards.
